Imagine That Gnome

I have one more Christmas card to share with you.  You know that I am head over heels with "Imagine That" digital stamps.  Well I received this adorable Gnome girl from Kris over at Imagine That digital stamps and I just had to color her up.
I colored the image with my copic markers and then fussy cut the image out.  I used a little bit of stickles on her hat.  I thought the snowflake background highlighted the image and used a little glitter paper for the hillside at the bottom of the card.

You should check out the ITD Creative Playground blog because she offers free digital images.  Right now she is offering the Party Cows #3 which is absolutely adorable.

Challenge your stash

This will be the last posting of the year for our Challenge Your Stash group on Splitcoast Stampers.  I just love this group because it really challenges me to use what I have.  But then it is easy for me since I seem to have a whole store at my house.

Barb was our hostess this month and challenged us to use our dies.  Well I have plenty of those and I made this fun Christmas card using several dies.
For my card I used the Classic truck die from Impression Obsession, the trees from The Memory Box, the tree in the back of the truck by Taylored Expressions, the deer and birds from Papertrey Ink and the hills die from Lawn Fawn.

So you see that I used alot of dies for this card.  What a fun challenge from Barb.

Happy Birthday Denise

Today I am part of a great group of gals from The Project Bin doing a little blog hop.  If you are following along, you probably came from Barb's blog.  In our blog hop we are honoring our creative genius behind The Project Bin.  I am always inspired by her stamps and so honored to be part of her design team.

To honor Denise I made a birthday card using the stamp set "Birthday Girl".
I love how a simple sentiment makes the best card.

So happy birthday to one of the kindest people I know.  Denise always takes time for her family and continues to inspire us on the Design Team for The Project Bin.  I hope you day is great and that 2020 brings you peace, joy and happiness.

If you would like to start at the beginning of the blog hop, you can go to Kelly's blog

PIP Challenge #1951

We are so lucky to have Di's Digital Stamps as our sponsor this week for Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenge #1951
You will find the cutest digital stamps at Di's.  I just love coloring their adorable images.  We were able to use any card this week so I used a very simple but elegant card I made using a snowflake die in the center of the card base.
I really wanted to show how beautiful the paper in the back shows up.  I just love how easy this card was to make yet so elegant.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure and check out Di's Digital Stamps store.

Imagine That Customer Standout

Today I am posting for the second time this month because I was lucky that my Christmas bird card won a "Customer Standout" award on Imagine That Digstamp Challenge in October.

It was such an honor winning this award.  Kris asked me if I would like to have a Guest spot on the December challenge and I said of course because I love working with Imagine That Digital Stamps.  They are adorable and so fun to color.  You must check out her store because I struggle with how to color my images sometimes and she always shows you a color version of her stamp.

For my card today I was able to select an adorable giraffe image called "Christmas Giraffe".  I have a friend who loves giraffes.  She said she would love to have a real one in her backyard.  She just didn't know how she could convince her husband she needs a giraffe.

I printed off the image on my computer and then colored it with my copic markers.  I then added some stickles to the fur on his hat and coat.  You just have to smile when you see this adorable guy.  Thanks so much to Kris for this honor and be sure and check out some of her adorable digital stamps that you can purchase.

The Project Bin

I'm sure everyone is busy getting ready for the holidays.  So much to do with so little time.  Today I am posting a card I made for The Project Bin that is bright and cheerful.  I am looking out my window at all the snow we got over the weekend and decided to post something that is colorful.
I used a sentiment from the "Wise Women" stamp set and stamped it out on pink cardstock.  I then fussy cut it out and made it the focal point of my card.  I love how this card turned out with just a few coordinating papers to highlight the sentiment.

Have a great day and be sure and check out The Project Bin for those last minute Christmas wishes you have on your list.

Time again for another challenge at Pammies Inky Pinkies.  This week we are lucky enough to be sponsored by SheepSki Designs.
They have some of the most adorable digital images in their etsy store.   Plus they are so reasonable.  For my card today I used the Snowman Selfie stamp.
I colored the image with my copic markers using pastel colors.  I just love these adorable little snowmen all trying to get in the picture.

I decided the enter this card in the SheepSki Designs Challenge this month.  The challenge was to use your favorite thing.  This time of year snowmen are my favorite thing.  They have such personality and always make you smile.

Crafters of Faith Challenge Group

Our hostess this month for our Crafters of Faith group is Faye.  She chose for her scripture this month Genesis 1:14-19.  (And God said, "Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years, and let them be lights in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth.  And it was so.  God made two great lights - the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night.  He also made the stars.  God set them in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth, to govern the day and the night and to separate light from darkness.  And God saw that it was good.  And there was evening, and there was morning - the fourth day.")

Faye chose the sketch below for our challenge.

For my card I decided to use the stamp set from Stampin Up called Star of Light which has been one of my favorite stampin up sets.
I started the card by stenciling the sun rays in the background using scattered straw distress ink.  I then cut out the snowflake using the matching die in the set.  I glued it to the middle of the sun rays.  I also stamped a few small star on the upper left and lower right side of the card.  I used a small piece of silver washi tape for the bottom of the card.

So I used for the challenge:
Favorite Color - Blue
Die - Snowflake
Washi tape - Silver at the bottom of the card
Any sentiment - Christmas Spirit from the stamp set.

Thanks Faye for a great challenge.

Customer Standout for Imagine That

I was so lucky that my Christmas bird card floating card won a "Customer Standout" award on Imagine That Digstamp Challenge in October.

Kris was kind enough to let me select an image of my choice for my card and I had to choose Party Cow #1 because I have someone special who will love this birthday card.

I printed off the image on my computer and then colored it with my copic markers.  I just love how it turned out.  Thanks so much to Kris for this honor and be sure and check out some of her adorable digital stamps that you can purchase.

Sugar Pea Designs Mix It Up Challenge #61

I recently came upon Sugar Pea Designs and I am in love with their stamps.  Just so adorable.  I decided to enter one of my recent cards in their Mix It Up Challenge #61.  For their challenge you could use the color inspiration below of the sketch challenge below.
For my card I used the Here Comes Santa Claus stamp set.  The stamp set uses several santas in their set.
I colored the santa with my copic markers and added some stickles around his hat and cuffs on his suit.  If I was Santa, I would be eating a cookie also.  I just love my cookies.

Be sure and check out Sugar Pea Designs.  They are having a fantastic sale right now.

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to all my friends out there in blogland.  Today my card fits in perfect with being Thankful on this holiday.  I am the hostess this month for our Create from our Stash group on Splitcoaststampers.  I decided my theme was to make a Thank You card.

I recently attended a card class at a friend of mine and we made this adorable Thank You card.
The card opens in the center and only half of the front piece is adhered to the base.  We stenciled the trees first and then adhered the owl piece to the left half of the card.

I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving.

Dueling Darlings

Today is the 15th and that means it is time for our Dueling Darlings challenge.  Heather and Beth were our hostesses this month.  I am in the Dazzler group and Beth sent us an adorable Hero Arts Owl image.
I colored the fun image with my copic markers and then had my Brother Scan n cut outline the image and cut it out.  I know these are bright colors for an owl but I wanted to match the papers  called Spring Stack II by DCWV.  The twine is by Celebrate it.  The enamel dots are by doodlebug.
Beth even sent us these adorable Made By stamps.  I love using them on the back of my cards.  If you want to see what some of the other Dazzlers did with their image you can click on their name below.

The Project Bin

I have another fun card this week for The Project Bin.   As I look out my window at snow on the ground I decided I wanted to do a bright sunny card.

I found some papers I had in my stash from Mintay called Marina and thought this would be perfect using the Anchors Away stamp set.  I stamped the image on the pink paper and fussy cut it out.  I added a navy cardstock paper to highlight the sentiment.  What a fun card and easy to make.

ITD Creative Playground Challenge #11

Lately I have decided that I am liking digital stamps more and more all the time.  Especially when space becomes a problem at my house.  Where oh where to store all these fun stamps we have.  So for me digitals are the answer.

I am playing along with several of the challenges over on Splitcoaststampers for a couple of weeks.  Today one of the challenges was to make ice on our card.  I immediately thought of an igloo with blocks of ice and I found an adorable digital image at Imagine That Digital Stamps.  The stamp set I decided to use was Polar Fun.  What a bargain for only $5.  You get sentiments and several adorable images to color.
I printed off the images and colored them with my copic markers.  I then cut them out and came up with a card design.  The bottom of the card is glitter paper and the snowflake paper is from Carta Bella Snow Fun.

I decided to enter this card in ITD Challenge this month because I really liked how the card turned out.

Crafters of Faith

My card today is for our Crafters of Faith group on Splitcoaststampers.  Vickie is our hostess this month and she chose the scripture from Isaiah 64:8 "We are the clay, and you are out potter; we are all the work of your hand".  Our challenge was to create a card of project using any theme but to be sure and include some kind of non-paper embellishment.
I love this paper from Maja Designs called Denim and Girls.  So feminine and pretty.  I find myself using it a lot because I just love the colors.  The non-paper embellishments are the felt flower and square, button, twin and enamel dots.  Thanks Vickie for a great challenge.

Newtons Nook Inky Paws Challenge

Well Halloween is over and November is here.  Hard to believe.  Especially since here in Kansas we have already had snow.  I hope that is not a sign of what is to come this winter.

I decided to post one more Halloween card that I made for Inky Paws Challenge.  The challenge this week was to make a Halloween, Thanksgiving or Christmas card.

I love the stamp set Newton's Perfect Pumpkin so I made my last Halloween card for the year.
I colored the image with my copic markers and then fussy cut the image out.  The sentiment and spider on the background are also from that stamp set.

The Project Bin Kinda Pawsome

I have a fun card this week for The Project Bin.  My family has always been dog lovers.  Seems like we all have had one at one time or another.
For my card today I decided to use the stamp set "Kinda Pawsome".  I stamp the dog image and then did a little highlighting with my gray copic marker.  I made a tag using the Authentique "Companions" paper line.  The blue dog heart beat was a small square in the paper line.  I stamped the sentiment at the bottom of the tag which is also from Kinda Pawsome line.

You only have a couple of days to day advantage of the October special at The Project Bin which is with every $75 order you get the Eat Pie Stamp Set Free.

The Project Bin

I am still loving the adorable snowman from The Project Bin using Merriest Christmas stamp set so I decided to make another fun card with it today.
I thought it would be fun to make a shaker card and put the snowman to the side.  The image is colored with Altenew watercolors and then I used the matching die to cut the snowman out.  I added the snowflake die to the upper right hand side and ended up with an adorable shaker card.

I started my card out by using white embossing powder and a snowflake folder.  I then cut out the snow bottom and colored my cute little snowman with my copic markers.  I added a snowflake in the corner and what a cute Christmas card did it make.

Todays card is for a challenge over in my Crafters of Faith group on Splitcoaststampers.  Our hostess this month was Kim and the scripture she chose for the challenge is Psm 139:13-14 (You formed my inmost being; you knit me in my mother's womb.  I praise you, because I am wonderfully made; wonderful are your works!  My very self you know.)

Kim's challenge was to make a card for a pregnant woman or for a newborn baby.

This card is from Papertrey Ink "Baby Button Bits" and the sentiment is also from Papertrey Ink "Congratulations".  I stamped the bear on designer paper and then fussy cut it out.

Thanks Kim for a great challenge.

Newtons Nook Challenge

I am beyond thrilled that my local scrapbooking store (Vintage in KC) is now selling Newton's Nook stamps.  They are absolutely the cutest stamps I have ever seen.  Every time they have a new release I think how in the world do they come up with such adorable images.

Since I had just purchased "Pumpkin Latte" I thought I would make a card for the Inky Paws Challenge this week.  The challenge was to use the color challenge below.
This is definitely fall colors which I love.  Nothing beats the colors of fall.
I colored the image with my copic markers and used the matching dies to cut them out.  Thanks to Newtons Nook for a great challenge this week.

The Merriest by The Project Bin

This week for The Project Bin I have decided to think about Christmas cards.
For my card today I stamped off the snowman from "The Merriest" stamp set.  I then colored the image with my copic markers.  I used a show fall embossing folder for the background and then a Tim Holtz snowflake.  Very simple card but it has an elegance to it.

The stamp set also has the matching die cut which I used along with a tree die cut.  You will see that used in a future post.  You will see a lot of examples using this set this month because I am determined to have all my Christmas cards done early this year.

Challenge your stash

Today is reveal day for our "Challenge Your Stash" group at Splitcoaststampers.  Our hostess this month is Suzy and she challenged us to make a get well card or thinking of you card.

I decided to make this simple get well card.  I used a butterfly die and cut it out with white card stock.  I then colored it with my distress oxides.  The black butterfly frame was glued over the butterfly.  I punched a hole on the top part of my card base for the butterfly to slip through.  I then glued the center of the butterfly down on the inside of the card.  The butterfly slips through when you open the card.

Thanks for stopping by.

Keepsake for The Project Bin

My card today for The Project Bin is really clean and simple.
I used the stamp set "Keepsake" that is on special this month at The Project Bin.  It has the sweetest sentiment.  I just took a fun piece of designer paper and stamped the sentiment on.  I added a few gems and twine and what a nice card it turned out to be.
