PIP Challenge #2103

Time for another challenge at Pammie's Inky Pinkies.  Today's challenge (#2103) is being sponsored y Polkadoodles.

For my card today I was able to use one of the stamps from the stamp set "Too Cute Winder Wonders Bears".   This particular stamp set has 8 different images on it and they are all adorable.
I printed the image off on my printer and then started coloring this cute little guy with my copic markers.  This image could also be used for birthdays or any other celebration.

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Winter Wishes

If you know me at all, you know that I am a big fan of foxes.  They are just the cutest animal you will ever find.  Always a happy look on their faces.  So I was thrilled when Imke selected this image for our Mystery Image swap on Splitcoaststampers.

The image is called Merry Wishes by Neat and Tangled.  It is an older stamp but still adorable.  I colored the image with my copic markers.  I still don't feel I have the color right for a fox.  I think they need to be redder.  Next time I will try adding a little orange to my colors.

Classy Card Ladies

Today is the first day of the year that I get to post my card made for our group "Classy Card Ladies" on Splitcoaststampers.  Each month we will have a theme picked for our Diamonds and Pearls groups by 2 hostesses.  I happen to be in the Pearls group with 4 other amazing cardmakers.  Our hostesses this month are Jeanette and Kelly.  Jeanette sent The Pearls a fantastic kit to work with.

The theme this month is Winter Fun.  The image is by CC Designs called Snowballed Heidi.  The sentiment is by Close to My Heart Flakey Friends.  The papers are from Recollections Fa La La.  I also used a wooden Snowflake from JoAnns, a few sequins, a snowflake charm and some blue twine.

I loved this image.  I sometimes wonder if my card is TOO Much.  I always want to use everything our hostess sends us.  Thanks for checking out my card this month.  You can see some of the other creations by clicking on their names below.

Floral Easel Calendar

I have another calendar that I wanted to share with you today.  It is a Floral Easel Calendar.

I started this calendar with a 4 1/4" x 11" piece of black cardstock.  I scored the long edge at 5 1/2" and 2 3/4" to form the easel.  I then cut another piece of black cardstock at 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".  I decorated each of these pieces with some beautiful floral paper I had.  You will notice I used that MFT stitched floral die again.  Told you I loved it.
I then adhered the bottom part of the decorated page to the bottom part of the calendar so it would form an easel as shown below.
The inside of the calendar is decorated as shown below.
This card folds up nicely and fits into a regular size envelop.  It makes such a nice gift.

Hope you are enjoying my calendar week.  Tomorrow I will be taking a break and posting a card I made for a group I am in on Splitcoaststampers.

All about calendars

I am starting the week out a little late with my posts.  I decided to dedicate this week to calendars.  I love making them and giving as gifts throughout the holiday.  I get bored making one kind so I always have different patterns.

My calendar today is called a 4 Season calendar.  I begin with a 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 sheet of black card stock.  I folded it in half and start creating 4 scenes.  The calendar stands up with a little tag inserted at the bottom of each calendar to make an easel.

This was the winter scene I created using lots of snowflakes and a little bit of glitter for interest.
Of course the spring scene should have flowers.  I love flowers.  These flowers are from MFT called Stitched Blooms Die.  I use it alot.
The summer scene is all about fun in the sun.  I found a few dies that I had that looked like summer fun to me.  Even the little flip flops.
And of course fall is all about fall leaves and beautiful fall colors.  I love this Small Stitched Leaf Die by Lawn Fawn.  Another of my favorites.

I have several other calendars I have made so be sure and check back this week.  One of my favorites I made was a calendar I bought at Aldi and spruced it up a bit.

PIP Challenge #2101

I am so thrilled to be back posting on my blog.  I am staying true to my motto and doing something creative every day.  I will be posting throughout the week alot of projects I am working on.

Today is our first challenge of the year for Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenges.  Today we are being sponsored by one of my favorite stamp companies "Newton's Nook Designs".

Newton

For my card today I used the adorable "Newton Celebrates" stamp.  I stamped off the image and then colored it with my copic markers.  I thought it made a fun Happy New Year card. The designed papers are from Doodlebug "Hey Cupcake" series.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today.  I sure hope to be better at posting this year.

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Welcome 2021

I am sure like most of you that we welcome 2021 and hope for a better year.  I know for me personally it has been a struggle.  I miss my friends (going to crops) and family (our wonderful family get togethers) and hope that 2021 will bring a little bit of normalcy back to my life.

I have also decided with a new year I wanted to have a motto for the year.  My crafts have kept me busy in 2020 and saved me from extreme boredom.  So my motto for 2021 is to Be Creative each and every day.  I hope to post more on my blog so your can follow my journey through 2021.  I have alot of quilt projects started and they need attention.  I also have card kits to finish and many to start.

Since I am saying goodbye to 2020 I thought it would be fun to do a little review with my top 5 cards with the most views here on my blog.

On June 22 I posted this adorable card with an image from Di's Digital Stamps called Micealangelo.

In October  I posted this fun little project for The Project Bin using the stamp set "Pumpkin Spice".

In November I posted this fun card for Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenges using Christmas Jar from Bugaboo Stamps.  This had to be one of my favorites because I love to color.

In February I posted this card featuring a new stamp set from The Project Bin called Just Sayin.

In May I posted this card for a group I participate in called "The Dueling Darlings" on Splitcoaststampers.  (There will be a name change for 2021 so watch for this)  The image was Happy Flowers by Sparkle N Sprinkle.

I had 110 posts in 2020.  My goal for 2021 is to post more because I have been the worst about taking pictures of all the projects I created in 2020.  So Be Creative and do something fun every day in 2021.
