Day 7 Build Your Stash Holiday Hop

Another fun day for the Build Your Stash Holiday Hop.  Have you checked out some of the fantastic cards that artists have created by linking their projects?

I have another fun card today made from a kit I received from Darlene.
Sad so say I am not sure the name of the stamp company which is sad because I love this image and I had so much fun coloring it with my copic markers.  I even like my little bluebirds.  The designer paper is from Stampin Up called Wrapped in Plaid.  The ribbon is also from Stampin Up.  I added the gold doily which is also from Stampin Up.

So be sure and check back tomorrow because it will be my last card for the Build Your Stash Holiday Hop

Day 6 Build Your Stash Blog Hop

It has been fun posting for the Build Your Stash Holiday Hop every day this week.  It sure has helped me get a jump start on my Christmas Card making.

For my card today I am using a kit I received from Maggie.

For these cards I used the stamp set "Tis the Sea-Sun" by Gina K. Designs.  I used a masking technique and stenciled the circle with distress oxides.  I then added the sentiment and the image I colored with copic markers.  I thought the ornaments added a little flair to the palm tree.
For this card I used the same stampset and set them in a different setting.  You have to love these adorable penguins.

Check back tomorrow because it will be my last day to post for the Build Your Stash Holiday Hop.

Day 5 Build Your Stash Holiday Hop

I am excited that I have been able to keep posting every day of the Build Your Stash Holiday Hop.  I hope you are checking out their blog and seeing some of the fantastic cards that have been linked at the bottom of the blog.

For my card today I am going with the snowman theme.  I am using the stamp set Snow Much Fun from Stampin Up.
This is called a Joy Fold Card.  You can see the tutorial on Splitcoaststampers HERE.  I think I love coloring snowmen because they don't require alot of coloring.  The designer paper is called Winter Wonderland from Hobby Lobby.

For the fun of it I did another card using the same stamp set.  I just couldn't stop.

Day 4 Build Your Stash Holiday Hop

Boy I am having so much fun creating holiday cards.  I have definitely been inspired by the entries in the Build Your Stash Holiday Hop.

My card today comes from a wonderful kit that I received from Carol. They are always such a surprise as to what is in the kit and how I will use it.
This sweet little image is called Mistletoe by Sugar Nellie.  I colored the image with my copic markers and used a scalloped oval die to cut the image out.  I thought about adding a sentiment but thought the card looked fin without a sentiment.  I added the glitter snowflake and ribbon in the top left corner.

Thanks for stopping by.  Be sure and check back tomorrow because I have more Christmas cards to share.

Splitcoaststampers Challenge Your Stash

Today is reveal day for our Challenge Your Stash group on Splitcoaststampers.  Jeanette was our hostess this month and she came up with a great challenge.  We were to use at least 3 letters from the word July.
I had so much fun with this challenge.  In my card you will se:
J - Jewels in the center of the flowers
U - Umbrella
L - Leaves on the flowers
Y - Yarn for the bow

The image is from Newtons Nook called Loads of Blooms.   I colored the image with my copic markers and the used the matching die to cut it out.  I found some paper that made a beautiful background.

Thanks Jeanette for a thought provoking challenge this month.  It was so fun.

Today is Day 3 of the Build Your Stash Holiday Hop.  I am excited that I am getting lots of Christmas cards made this early.

For today's card I  am using a fun image from a kit I received from Terry S.  I love snowmen and they are so much fun to color.  For my card today I am using the Jolly Snowman from Stamps Happen.
I colored the image with my copic markers and then decided on a fun layout.  The designer paper is from American Crafts.  I had to use the sentiment also because I thought it was so cute.  I also used some ribbon, snowflake brad and some enamel dots.

Thanks Terry for a great kit and helping me get a jump start on my Christmas cards.

Day 2 Build Your Stash Holiday Hop

Today is Day 2 of making a Holiday Card for the Build Your Stash Holiday Hop.  Be sure and check out the designer on the upper left side of the blog.  They are amazing designers and have some fantastic holiday cards.

For my entry today I am using a card that I made with a kit from Emily on my Splitcoaststampers challenge.  She actually sent me a stamp that I could use over and over again.
The stamp is Cinnamon with Reindeer by CC Designs.  I thought this stamp set was so adorable.  I stamped the image in the lower right hand corner of my card base and colored it with my copic markers.  I then added the sentiment which is from the stamp set Happy Holidays by Altenew.   I then added a piece of green designer paper that I had cut with a scalloped border die.  I then added the ribbon and a few sequins to finish it off.

This was another card I made using the same stamp set.  Just a different look.

Be sure and check back tomorrow because I will have more Holiday cards that I am working on.

Build Your Stash Holiday Hop

Today is day one of the Build Your Stash Holiday Hop.  This is their first hop and they have some great prizes.  There are some new companies (to me) that have some wonderful stamps and are offering a sale.

I thought this would be a great way to get started on my Christmas Cards.  I am also in a swap on Splitcoaststampers where we all pick a theme for our month and we get 10 different card kits.  My month was July and my theme was Christmas.  So this worked out perfect for me to get motivated and make some Christmas Cards.

Today's card was from a kit sent to me by Barb and it is Seeking Snowman by QKR Stampede.
I colored the image with the following copic markers
Red - R27, R24, R22
Teal - BG13, BG32, BG11
Brown - E25, E23, E21
Broom - YR23, Y19, Y15

The ribbon is from Stampin Up and I added a few enamel dots at the bottom.  This is a non-traditional card but they are my favorite colors (Red and Teal).

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check out the Build Your Stash Holiday Hop.

PIP Challenge #2029

Today we are celebrating Challenge #2029 over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies.  This week are are lucky enough to be sponsored by Polkadoodles.  For my card today I am using the stamp set "Sunshine Delight Little Friends" by Polkadoodles.

I thought this was a sweet little image.  I printed it off on my computer and then colored it with my copic markers.  This is one of my favorite color combinations (Pink and Aqua).  After coloring my image I used a half circle die to cut it out.  I used a floral embossing folder on the blue piece of cardstock.  I decided to keep the layout simple and focus on the gorgeous stamp.  I layered 3 of the word (Celebrate) dies to give it some dimension.

Thanks for stopping by and check out the other creations by the design team at Pammie's Inky Pinkies.

Mystery Image #58

Diane selected an image this month for our challenge.  She selected Kiki La Rue - Cupcake Kiki by CC Designs.
I colored this cute little image with my copic markers and then pulled out a few dies to help with the background.  The designer papers are from Home Sweet Home by Carta Bella.

Thanks Diane for a great challenge this month.

Mystery Image Swap

This month for our Mystery Image Swap at Splitcoaststampers we actually had 2 hostesses which was so much fun.

The first image was selected by Ruby.  She chose Mr. Dress Up by Local King Rubber Stamp Company.
This is such a fun stamp because it is like a paper doll.  You can dress up this cute lamb with different outfits.  I colored the santa outfit with my copic markers and did a fun layout for a Christmas card.

The second image was selected by Heather.  She chose Rainy Day Riley by Riley and Company.

These stamps are always so fun to color.  I used my leaf embossing folder for the piece of green cardstock and added just a few elements to my card.

Thanks girls for a great challenge this month.

Dueling Darlings

I am so lucky to have Barb as my partner for our Dueling Darling Challenges.  I love brainstorming with her for ideas for challenges.  This was our month to come up with a challenge.  We decided that we all need a little humor in our lives so we decided to have "Humor" as our theme this month.
I colored the image (Sassy Girl from Crackerbox) and cut it out.  I used some fun papers from Sunny Studio called Spring Fling for my card.  I also used SU Tempting Turquoise as my background.   The sun dies are from Lil Inker Designs.  The embellishments are from Recollections.

I hope this card put a smile on your face being so bright and cheerful.

The Project Bin

I thought I would make a cat card today for my project for The Project Bin.  One of my kitties has been sick and we are trying to nurse it back to health.  He is extremely skinny so we are feeding him anything he will eat.  He is in to everything that I want to do.  He loves my thread and any kind of tape.  Thank goodness he is a cuddler because that makes up for all of his mishaps he gets in to.
For my card today I decided to use the Feline Good stamp and Die set from The Project Bin.

Card making, rubber stamping, die cutting, paper crafts, cat stamps
I stamped several of the images and colored with my copic markers.  I then used the matching die to cut them out.  I had a window die so I cut them out and placed the kitties behind them.
This was such a fun card to make.

Be sure and check back later today because I will have another post later today.

Crafters of Faith

Kelly is our hostess this month for our Crafters of Faith group on Splitcoaststampers.  She chose the scripture this month which is Psalm 33:12 (KJV) Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.  I thought this was the perfect scripture for the month of July.

Kelly challenges us to remember the 4th of July as we make our card and take a moment to reflect what freedom means for all of us and to celebrate spiritually as well.  She wanted us to create a card/project with a flag somewhere on it.

I had alot of fun making this card.  I decided to use the stamp set "Red, White & Boom" from The Project Bin.   I just stamped the fireworks in red and blue ink for the background and stamped the sentiment and the flag.  I used white embossing powder for the stars on a small square of navy card stock.  I added a few star gems for bling.

Thanks Kelly for a great challenge.

PIP Challenge #2027

Time again for another challenge over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies.  This will be challenge #2027 and even though we don't have a sponsor this week, Pam has generously decided to give the winner of this challenge a $10 gift card to Unity Stamp Company.  Did you know that Unity actually has digital stamps to purchase?  I love digital stamps because of the whole storage issue and  how you can size them any way you want.
For my card today I decided to use the beautiful digital stamp called "In This together".  I printed off the image and colored it with some of my purple copic markers.  There are different sentiments and different views of this flower that you can print off.  I felt like this sentiment was perfect for what is going on in this world and that we all need to tell the individuals in our lives how special they are.

I hope to see your creations over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenge this week.  Who wouldn't want to win a $10 gift certificate to Unity Stamp Company?

The Project Bin

Happy July!  So fun that my project landed on the first day of July as a design team member for The Project Bin.
Since the 4th of July is right around the corner I thought I would make a fun patriotic card.  I used the stamp set "Red, White & Boom" from The Project Bin for my card today.  I took a piece of tan paper and stamped the fireworks in red & blue on the sheet.  I added the sentiment in the center along with a few star gems.

I hope everyone has a wonderful 4th of July.  I know alot of towns are cancelling their fireworks displays which is sad because I really enjoy them.  Be safe and have fun.

Creative Crew

Today is one day late for my post for our creative crew group.  I had a design team post I had to make for yesterday so I thought I would p...
