Fun in the Sun

The 28th of the month sure rolled around quickly but this means I am posting my card for our Creating from our Stash group on Splitcoaststampers.  Kari was our hostess this month and she decided our challenge was "Life's a Beach".
I had so much fun making this card for the challenge today.  I started my card with a 4 x 5 1/4" piece of white Neenah Classic Crest paper.  I then stenciled some clouds at the top of the card using the MFT cloud stencil.  I then taped across the middle of the card and sponged a darker blue.  The bottom of the card is a piece of torn SU Crumb cake paper.  I then added the images from the Photoplay  Hello Summer set that I had colored with my copic markers.  The sun is by Lil Inker designs.

PIP Challenge #2025

Today starts a fun challenge over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies.  This week is being sponsored by Di's Digital Stamps.
For my card today I am using the digital stamp called "Micealangelo".  I had so much fun coloring this image with my copic markers.  I love all the Mice images they have at Di's Digital Stamps.  So adorable.  I had a hard time deciding which one to purchase.  I chose to do a simple layout so the image would really pop.  This image reminds me of watching the artists outside in our local arboretum where they put up their easels and paint.  It is so fun and inspiring to watch.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure and check out the store at Di's Digital stamps.

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Mystery Image Swap

Today is Round 50 for our Unidentified swap on Splitcoaststampers.  Darlene was our host this month.
Darlene chose our image this month and it is from "Bouquets of Wishes" by Hero Arts.  Such a sweet simple image but makes a wonderful card to use on many occasions.

I colored the image with my copic markers and then used a stacking die to cut out the image.

Thanks for stopping by and thanks also to Darlene for a great challenge this month.

The Project Bin

For my card today for The Project Bin I decided to pull out my Patriotic stamps and make a 4th of July card.
The stamp set I used from The Project Bin is "Red, White & Boom".  It has all the perfect sayings if you were looking to make a nice patriotic card.  I used some scrap papers I had around the house and I used a star embossing paper on the red rectangle.  I then used a star die cut on gold paper to give it the extra little pop.

Dueling Darlings

The 15th of the month sure came around quickly.  Darlene and Judy are the hostesses this month and they chose roses as their theme.
The image is by Uptown Rubber stamps called "She Who Has Roses".  It is such a sweet sentiment.  The designer paper is from SEI "Field Notes".  Ribbon is from Michaels and the gemstones are from Stampin Up.  I added the Rose die cut from Stampin Up's Rose Garden Thinlits die set.

What a fun theme this week.  Thanks Darlene for a great theme.

PIP Challenge 2023

Today's challenge over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies is being sponsored by Star Stampz
For my card today I decided to use the adorable Spring Bumble Bee Digital Stamp.  I have noticed that bee stamps are quite popular right now.  I printed off the image an colored it with my copic markers.  I just happened to have a small bee die that worked perfectly with this card.  The Best Wishes die was added so I could use this card for a Happy Birthday.

Thanks to Star Stampz for sponsoring us this week.  Be sure and join us over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies because a lucky winner could winner 3 free digital stamps.

I would like to enter my card in the following challenges:
Daisy Chain Challenge #42 - Flowers
Crafty Calendar Challenge - Flowers
The Corrosive Challenge - Anything Goes

Crafters of Faith

Today our challenge for our Crafters of Faith Group on Splitcoaststampers is being hosted by Jeanette.
She chose the scripture "Philippians 4:13 - I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me".  Jeanette challenged us to think of some paper-crafting technique, fold or something we have been fearful to try.

I had to think about this challenge and looked through my supplies and came across a Christmas Die that I have been putting aside because it just looked too complicated.  I decided to put my fear aside and give it a try.
This is actually a card if you can believe it.  It is called a Holiday Shadow Box by Sizzix and will fit in a A9 Envelope.  I am glad I just took the leap and made this card.  I can say that this will not be my Christmas Card for 2020.  Maybe 2025 if I start now.

Thanks Jeanette for a great challenge and helping me putting aside my fears and give this card a try.

The Project Bin

I made a birthday card today for my project for The Project Bin.  It seems that I never have enough birthday cards.
I love the sentiment on this card and makes such a great card for someone you care about.  The large sentiment is from the stamp set "Born Yesterday" and the Happy Birthday sentiment is from the stamp set "Just Sayin".  The designer paper I used is called Happy Birthday by Echo Park.  I love the candles on this paper.

Such a fun card to make and will go through the mail so easily.
