Promise Always

Today I am posting a card I made for a swap on SCS.  Jeanette was our host this month and she chose this wonderful image "Promise Always" from Unity.

I colored the image with my copic markers.  Thanks Jeanette for a great challenge.

Dueling Darlings

Since it's the 15th of the month, this means it is time for the Dueling Darlings Duel.  The hostesses this month are Shelly and Carol.  The theme is Everything is Coming Up Roses.

Since I am a Dazzler I received a kit from Shelly and her kit included:

Image and sentiment all SU (the rose is from the 2002 collection)
The three small SU sentiments are punched out using the SU tag punch
The DP's - the green and green w/peach roses- The Paper Studio Kirby Teesdale
Yellow and wood BG- The Paper Studio-Country Road
All ribbons and twine- retired SU
Cardstocks-SU
Small butterflies- Martha Stuart punch
Yellow gems- Recollections

I colored my image with copic markers and added a little sunray with distress oxide ink in the back of the roses.

Shelly and Carol also asked us to share what our favorite color of roses is and I would have to say pink.

PIP Challenge #1823

Time for Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenge #1823.  As always"Anything Goes" in our challenge this week which is sponsored by All Dressed Up.  They have added some adorable images that you really should check out in their store.

For my card I decided to use the image "Woodland Bird".  I printed it off on my Canon Inkjet printer and then colored it with my copic markers.  Such a fun image.

Be sure and join us this week for this challenge because one lucky winner will win 2 digital images.

Crafters of Faith Challenge

Today is reveal day for our Crafters of Faith challenge over on Spitcoaststampers.  Joyce was our hostess this month and her scripture of choice was Psalm 118:5.  "I will walk about in freedom, for I have sought out your precepts".
So my card is all about freedom.  I used a stampin up set called Happy Fourth.  I wish you could see more of the stamped background but I love the red & blue in this card.

Add a little humor

Today I decided to make a card for the Impression Obsession Challenge this week.  The challenge was to add humor to your card.

For my card I decided to use my new favorite stamp set from Impression Obsession called "Baby Giraffe".  This stamp set was designed by Dina Kowal.  I had the pleasure of meeting her at a retreat in April and I am amazed at her talent.

So how you not smile seeing this adorable giraffe?  I just love the expression on his face.

I colored the image with my copic markers and decided not to add anything but the sentiment on the card.  I didn't want to take anything away from the image.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure and check out all the great stamps in the Impression Obsession store.

Pammie's Inky Pinkie Challenge #1821

Well I have 2 posts for today.  Keeping me busy.

It's time again for another post at Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenges.  This will be Challenge #1821 and is sponsored by Dis Digi Stamps.

For my card today we were able to use any image we wanted.  I chose to use a digital image from Power Poppy called Springtime Love Roundel .
I just loved coloring this image with my copic markers.  After coloring I cut the image out with a circle die and adhered it to my card base.  The sentiment is from a Stampin Up set called "Let Your Hair Down".  I made this card for a friend who has been battling breast cancer and just had her last chemo treatment.  Yeah!

Challenge My Stash

Today is post day for our "Challenge My Stash" group from Splitcoaststampers.  This month Pansy was our host and she challenged us to use an image on our card with a mouse on it.  I found this adorable stamp called "Candy Time" by Penny Black.
I colored this image with my copic markers and decided to make it in to a birthday card by adding the celebrate die on the bottom.

Thank to Pansy for a great challenge.  So much fun!
