PIP Challenge #2221

Today Challenge #2221 over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies is being sponsored by Sheepski Designs.

I had so much fun with the image that I got to play with for this challenge.  I am such a fan of bees and coloring them which is a surprise to me since I got stung by a bumblebee at a young age in the face and still cringe when one gets too close to  me.  But I do understand the important of bees to our environment.

The image I used for my card is called "Bumble Bee Blossom".  I printed the image on my printer and colored it with my copic markers.  The die I used is by Hero Arts and is called Honeycomb Fancy Die.   I love this die and find that it is the perfect die to highlight your image.  The papers are from Graphic 45 "Let It Bee" collection.

Dueling Darlings

Time for our Dueling Darlings Challenge.  Kelly is our hostess this month and our theme is "We are a rainbow!"  Each of us brings a light and color to life.  We are all an important "band" of the rainbow.  We have all been given a randomly chosen color and our challenge was to use ONLY your color to represent our band of the rainbow.

I guess you can tell that my color is yellow.  For my card I used the following:
Paper - Sugar Pea Life Is A Carnival
Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch
MFT Sunrise Radiating Rays Stencil
Sentiment - Pink Fresh Always Uplifting
MFT Die-namics
Gems from Horizon Group Go Create!

I can't wait to see what everyone else came up with for this challenge.  You can check them all out by clicking on their links below.

PIP Challenge #2219

Spring is here in the Midwest although this week feels more like summer.  Typical up and down weather.  I am enjoying all the beautiful flowers blooming right now so today's challenge is a little more reminder of the beauty around us.  Today over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies we are being sponsored by Jan's Digi Stamps.

For my card today I am using the digital stamp from the stamp set  "Spring Tiger Lilies".

I printed off the image on my computer and then colored it with my copic markers.  I used paper from Simple Stories Simple Vintage Farmhouse Garden.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set.  I used a Lawn Fawn border die for the blue top and added 3 enamel dots at the bottom of the card.

What a beautiful stamp set this is.  So reasonable also.  Be sure and check out all the beautiful digital stamps in Jan's store.

Newtons Nook Birthday Theme

I am in need of birthday cards in my stash so I decided to go to my favorite stamp company "Newtons Nook" and see what their Inky Paws Challenge is this week.  Lucky for me it is a birthday challenge.

So I went to my Newtons Nook inventory and found this adorable stamp set called "Newtons Birthday Balloons".

I stamped the image off and colored the images with my copic markers.  They also have matching Die set to go with this stamp set.  The background papers are by Doodlebug called Hey Cupcake.  I love the pink colors.  For the background frames and flag with sentiment,  I used Newtons Nook Frames & Flags Die set.  I cut the images out and pop dotted them on to the front of the card.

Such a fun birthday card to make.
