Creative Crew

Today is one day late for my post for our creative crew group.  I had a design team post I had to make for yesterday so I thought I would post my card today.

Terry was our hostess this month and she selected our theme for April will be "It's Party Time".  What a great theme.

The image we are using is Festive Balloons by Simon Says Stamps.  I thought this was a very fun image to work with.  I colored up 2 images that were cut out using the matching die.  For the front of the card I put the image on just a piece of the front folded card.  Then when you open it, you will see another image that I put on the inside using pop dots.  The designer paper is Stampin Up Pattern Party.  I found the gems in my stash and thought I would add them.

What a fun card.  Will make the perfect birthday card.  Be sure and check out and see what the rest of the team did.

Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenge #2415

Time again for Challenge #2415 by Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenges.  This week is sponsored by Pam at PIP Challenges.

The winner of this weeks challenge will receive a $10 gift certificate to My Favorite Things.  Who wouldn't love this gift certificate.  They have so many cute stamp sets at My Favorite Things.  I thought I would pull out a MFT stamp that I had in my stash for the challenge this week.
The stamp set is called "Hooray Kind of Day".  I could not find in their store but they have several that are similar with the cute little critters.  I started with a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of white cardstock and sponged on Distress Oxide Inks (Broken China & Peeled Paint).  I then sprayed with a mist of water and patted it with a paper towel.  I then cut out the piece using an Elizabeth Craft Designs Dotted Scallop Rectangle Die.  The Banner is called "Simple Banner" by Poppy Stamps.  I colored the images with copic markers and used the matching dies to cut out the images.  I then pop dotted them on to the card.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see your cards in the challenge this week.

PIP Challenge #2413

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter.  The weather here was just gorgeous.  Was able to spend time with my family at my nieces house who is always the ultimate hostess.

Today for Pammies Inky Pinkies Challenge #2413 we are being sponsored by Pattie's Creations.  Her digital images are so fun.  It was really hard for me to decide which image to use.

So for my card I chose to use "Hummingbird Floral Wreath" digital stamp.  I love hummingbirds and I always enjoy seeing them.  Their colors are just amazing.  When I colored my image I really tried to make my hummingbird colorful.

I downloaded the image and colored with my copic markers.  I then used a Spellbinder Label die to cut it out.  The background paper is Ink Drops - Candy by Craft Consortium.  I thought the background colors made the colors in the hummingbird pop.

Be sure and check out some of the other fun digital images at Pattiescreations store on Etsy.

Challenge Your Stash

Today I am posting a card I made for our challenge on Splitcoast Stampers Create from Your Stash.  Our hostess this month was  Lisa and she selected our theme to be "Easter".  I love this challenge because I have so many Easter stamps and it was so fun to go through them and pick one out for the challenge.

The stamp set is Sweet Easter Set by Art Impressions.  The designer paper is "It's Easter Time" by Echo Park.  I also used a Mini Slim Circle Window Cutting Plate by Taylored Expressions.

I colored the images with copic markers and then put them on the front of the cutting plate.

Thanks to Lisa for a great challenge.

Creative Crew

I am so late in posting this card.  I have been sick for several days and just now getting some of my energy back.  I did want to post my card because our hostess this month was Carol and she came up with such a great idea for our challenge this month.

Our theme this month is National Poultry Day.  I just love that theme.  The farm girl in me comes out thinking of all the chickens we had when I was a kid.

The image I used was from Stampin Up called Rustic Rooster.  The papers are from The Paper Studio called Country Road.  I colored the image with my copic markers and then used a few dies I had to highlight the image.

Thanks to Carol for a great them this month.  You can see what some of the other gals on the team did by clicking on their name below.

PIP Challenge #2409

I am a little late in posting my card for Pammies Inky Pinkies Challenge #2409.  Our internet was down all day yesterday.  Oh the joys of modern technology.  We love it when it works but not happy when it doesn't.

Our sponsor this week is Star Stampz who has some amazing digital stamps in her etsy store.

For my card today I am using the stamp "My Sweet Rose".  I love all kinds of flowers so this was so much fun to color.

The designer papers I used are from Doodlebug Hello Sunshine.  I colored the image with my copic markers and used a little glossy accents on the eyes.  The sentiment is from Honey Bee Sentiment stamp set.  The leaf die is by sizzix called garden greens.  Such a fun image to work with.

I hope you all check out the Star Stampz store and find yourself a few adorable digital images.

PIP Challenge #2405

This weeks challenge over at Pammies Inky Pinkies is being sponsored by Lawn Fawn.  I am such a fan of theirs with all the cute stamps that you can put together.

For my card today I pulled out one of my favorite Lawn Fawn stamps which was Lawn Fawn Berry Special.  There is always so much you can do with these stamps.

I stamped my images with Memento Tuxedo Blank Ink on Neenah Classic Crest Paper.  I then colored the images with my copics markers and cut then out with the matching dies.  I did a faint cloud background using the MFT Mini Cloud stencil.  The sentiment is from the Berry Special stamp set also.

I would like to enter my card in the following challenges:

Crafty Animals Challenge #80 - Use an animal

Crafts Galore Encore Challenge - Anything Goes

Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge - Anything Goes

PIP Challenge #2403

Today brings a new challenge over at Pammies Inky Pinkies Challenges.  This weeks challenge is sponsored by Penguin Palace which is a new sponsor for PIP Challenges.

I had a hard time deciding which of their adorable digital stamps to use for my card today.  I finally decided to use "Happy Easter".  I figured it was never too early to start on my easter cards.
I colored the image with my copic markers and then fussy cut the image and sentiment out.  I used a scallop oval die to cut the pink paper out of.  The  background paper was from scraps that I had in my stash.

Be sure and check out Penguin Palace and see their adorable inventory of digital stamps.

Creative Crew

Today I am posting a card I made for our Creative Crew group on Splitcoaststampers.  Barb is our hostess this month and her theme is "Snowmen" which seems to be quite appropriate since I look out the window and see about 5 inches of snow.

The image Barb chose is by Penny Black from the Frosty Flakes stamp set.  The patterned paper is from Echo Park called Winter Magic.  I colored the image with my copic markers and added some stickles to the snow on the image.  The Merry and Bright sentiment is from Taylored Expressions.

You can see what the rest of the team did with the image by clicking on their name below.

PIP Challenge #2401

Happy 2024!  I hope this year will bring you all good health and happiness.  We start up another challenge over at Pammies Inky Pinkies Challenges.  We start 2024 out with a great sponsor for our  #2401 Challenge which is Gerda Steiner Designs.

They have adorable stamps that can be used for different occasions.  I decided to use the Watermelon Dinosaur for my card today.
He was such a fun little guy to color with my copic markers.  This little dinosaur has such personality.  I then went to my stash and decided to make this a birthday card which I never seem to have enough of.  I then used a crossstitch square die around the image and another die to cut the green paper out with.  This die is an Echo Park Nesting Label #5 that I have had forever.  I cut it in half and put half at the top and half at the bottom of the image.

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope to see you over at Pammies Inky Pinkies Challenges this week.
