Two Paper Divas

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas.  Hard to believe the holidays have just flown by.  I had to laugh at my post today because one holiday is over and it is on to a new one.
I have always been a huge fan of Valentines day because I love hearts of all kinds and this gives me the excuse to play with fun papers and embellishments.

For my card today I used the stamp set called ..... from Two Paper Divas.  You have to check out this set because there are so many fun stamps in this set.  I used the open heart, envelopment and the sentiment.

So check out Two Paper Divas and start thinking Valentines Day.

Two Paper Divas

Most of my Christmas cards are done and in the mail.  This was one of the last cards I made.
I used the Candy Jar stamp from Two Paper Divas and used the Candy #1 stamp set to fill the jar.  I love these suckers.  I colored them with my copic markers and then went over the top of them with liquid glue and put glitter over the glue before it dried.  Such a pretty effect.  The Holiday Greetings sentiment is from Two Paper Divas Holiday Sentiments stamp set.  I love this set because you have several greetings to pick from.

Be sure and follow Two Paper Divas blog to see the new stamp sets them come out with.

DT with Tracie

Today I am sharing a project that I am using for a Christmas gift.  This really shows how versatile the digital images are.  I am using one of my favorite Christmas images from Meljen’s Designs called Christmas Star Snowman.  He is so adorable and I have used this stamp in so many different sizes. I also used the Merry Christmas Word Art from Meljen's Designs also.  Seemed to be the perfect fit for the holder.

For this gift card holder, I started with a piece of red cardstock cut 4” x 11”.  You then score the long pieces at 2 ½ and 6 ¾.

I folded over the red cardstock at the 2 ½ scored line.  I then took one of my 2 ½” circle dies and cut the circle out placing it off center.

For the designer paper pieces I cut the green sheets 2” x 3 ¾” and ¾” x 3 ¾”.  I cut the striped paper 1 ¾” x 3 ½” and ½” x 3 ½”.    I used the large Stampin Up scallop punch, 1 3/4" circle punch red card stock and then I cut the image out with a 1 1/2" circle punch.  I colored the image with my copic markers and added stickles to make the image pop.
Once you cut the center out of the card, you will easily see where to place the scallop circle with the image.
In the inside, I used the retired slit punch from Stampin Up to hold the gift card in place.  This was such a fun project and perfect for the holidays.

Remember that Meljen's Designs is having their 50% off sale until December 15.  Check the store out today because she has added several new images and why not get them while they are on sale.

Two Paper Divas

Have you seen some of the new stamps at Two Paper Divas?  They released some new stamps and I decided to use the sentiment stamp.  I am a real fan of the Candy Jar Stamp so I stamped on white cardstock and the lid on designer paper and cut it out.  It doesn't show real well but after stamping the jawbreakers from the Candy #1 stamp set, I colored them with my copic markers and then used my crystal effects over the whole jar to give it a glass effect.
Be sure and check out the new stamps at Two Paper Divas.  They come out with new stamps every month.  They are just so much fun!

It's A Wrap - Challenge #240 Meljens Designs

Today will be the final post of the year for Meljen's Designs because Melissa wants everyone to devote their time and energy through the holidays with family and friends.  Another reason I love Meljen's Designs.

Today's challenge is fitting because it is called It's A Wrap and the challenge was to use wrapping paper.
You will see the background of my card is actually red and silver wrapping paper that I had found and thought it would  be perfect for this design.  I used one of my favorite holiday digital stamps called Christmas Star Snowman.  What I actually love about this stamp is that it does not require alot of coloring.  I do love to add glitter to this image to make it pop.

Hope you enjoyed the card.
Remember that you still have time to take advantage of a sale at Meljen's Designs.  Who doesn't love a sale?  Now is the time to grab all those adorable digital images that you love.

Two Paper Divas

This is the week that I hope to finish up all my Christmas cards and put them in the mail.  Today I am using "Jingle All The Way" from Two Paper Divas.
I thought it would be fun to use music for my background of this card.  I colored the image with my copic markers.  Adding a little bling to the card and it makes a cute holiday card.

Two Paper Divas

I think I have almost completed my goal of 50 Christmas cards.  They are my favorite card to make.
For today's card I used O Christmas Tree stamp from Two Paper Divas. What I love about the Two Paper Diva stamps are that you can buy them in the digital format or clear stamp.  I stamped the tree, colored it with my copic markers and then pop dotted it to my dies that I had cut out.  The banner sentiment was Two Paper Divas Holiday sentiments

I hope you enjoyed another Christmas card.  Only a few more weeks until Christmas will be here.

I just love the Christmas images over at Meljen's Designs.  For the challenge today, the theme is tags.

I decided to use a tag for my background to make the image pop.  Today's card I used the stamp "Bitty Christmas Tree Bears".  I think it is adorable.  I used my copics to color and a few stickles to make it pop.

Two Paper Divas

Still working on Christmas cards at my house.  My goal is to have 50 completed by Thanksgiving.  I used one of the new release stamps from Two Paper Divas called Jingle All The Way.  This is such a fun versatile stamp.  When I first saw this stamp I thought of a beautifully decorated door with bells on it so I decided to try and make a door card.

The pieces I cut out of PTI Kraft cardstock were
1 piece 4" x 5 1/4"
2 pieces 1 1/2" x 3"
2 pieces 1" x 2 3/4"
1 piece 1 1/2" x 3 1/4"
1 piece 1" x 2 3/4"

I then put all of these through my wood look embossing folder.  Be sure and think about your direction of the grain for the bottom panels.  I had to do those twice.

I colored my bells with copic markers and then cut them out.  I pop dotted them on my door and used a brad for the doorknob.

Thanks for stopping by.  See you next Friday for more Two Paper Diva inspired cards.

New Release for Two Paper Divas

Have you checked Two Paper Divas out recently?  They have some new adorable clear stamps.  For my project today I am using the O! Christmas Tree Stamp.

I tried a new technique for the background of my card.  I took a piece of glossy paper and put drops of ink around the card.  For my card I used red, green and yellow.  I then took another piece of glossy ribbon and smashed them both together.  I let them dry and you now have 2 pieces of gorgeous background. I also added a little stickles on the bottom of the trees.

Enjoy the card and check out the new items at Two Paper Divas.

Design Team Day over at Meljen's Designs

Since fall is here in full color, I decided to make a fall card for my design team day at Meljens Designs using a new technique that I have tried out and loved.  It is called Crayon Rubbed Embossed and you can see how to do it here at Splitcoast Stampers.  I used a fall leaf embossing folder  that I rubbed the crayon on.  I then used a brayer to go over the card with Cajun Craze Stampin Up ink.  I used the Autumn Leaf Mouse image to use on my card.

I didn't want to add too much to the card because I wanted the resisting to show and the image to stand out.  I hope you enjoyed my card today.  It is always fun to try new techniques and you can always find an adorable image to match your creations at Meljen's Store.  Check all her holiday images out.  So adorable.

Two Paper Divas

I am a little late in posting my designs for Two Paper Divas.  Been having too much fun at crops and working on Christmas Cards.
Today's card is one of the Christmas cards that I made.  It was simply and easy to make.  I used the Memory box Merry Christmas die and then used the Brrr! Friends Stamp from Two Paper Divas.  I just cut the top off and focused on the polar bear.  A different route also with the pink instead of the traditional red and green.

DT Day with Tracie

I am posting a fun project today for my design team day for Meljen's Designs.  It is hard to believe it is October already.  Halloween will be here before you know it.  I decided to make a fun little treat package that holds a regular size Tootsie Pop.  I started with a piece of designer paper and cut it 2 1/4" x 7 3/4".  I then scored the paper at 1 3/4", 4 1/4", and 5 1/4".  On the 1 3/4" line I punched a hole in the center and put the Tootsie pop through the hole.   I then folded over the 1 3/4" piece over the edge of the longer size and secured it in place.
I colored the adorable stamp with my copic markers called "Little Witch Mouse" that can be found in Meljens store.  I love these digital images because you can size them any which way to fit your project..  After coloring the image, I cut it out using a die cut and sponged around the edge with ink.  To finish the project I added a button and ribbon to give it an extra splash.

I hope you enjoyed my project today.  It was fun to show that there is great potential with digital stamps and you can make all kinds of things.

Two Paper Divas

I just can't believe September is over.  What happened to that month?  It went by so fast.  I can't believe I am thinking Halloween cards already but Two Paper Divas have come out with some new adorable stamps that are perfect for Halloween.  I love this stamp called Haunted House

To make this card I started out with a piece of whisper white stampin up paper and then cut out using a die.  I then used a brayer with yellow and then orange ink.  I sponged the bottom with black ink.  I then colored in the house with my copic markers.  To get the moon look, I punched out a 1 1/4 inch circle of post it note paper and stuck it there while I brayered the orange.  I then stamped the image matching up where the moon would be.  The Happy Halloween sentiment is from the stamp set called Mason Jar Access #2.

Be sure and check out Two Paper Divas.  It seems that they are adding adorable stamps all the time.

Sorry for the quality of my picture but it is late in the evening and no good lighting in my house.  I just love the picnic table and the Life's A Picnic coordinating stamps.  I used a brayer for the sky part of the card.  The green grass was sponged on.  I colored all the images with my copic markers and decided to put a few ants climbing up to the basket.  Where there is food, there are critters.

Two Paper Divas

I have a fun project today.  A friend of mine made some peach jelly and I told her I would make tags for the jelly jars. I used the Two Paper Diva Jelly Jar stamp set which is a current favorite of mine.
This first jar I used a tag die and just printed Peach Jam in 6 pt font and then used the label stamp over it.  I then fussy cut out the tag jar, topper and border.
For this tag, I stamped the image on adhesive backed paper and then glued on the different pieces.

What a great way to label your jars.
