I hope this year will bring you all good health and happiness. We start up another challenge over at <a href="https://pammiesinkypinkieschallenges.blogspot.com/">Pammies Inky Pinkies Challenges</a>. We start 2024 out with a great sponsor for our #2401 Challenge which is <a href="https://gsd-stamps.com/">Gerda Steiner Designs</a>.</p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://gsd-stamps.com/" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" data-original-height="256" data-original-width="256" height="256" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjf6PWnEQN9BUjC1Unnh1X9Ew-GwpE_kQT6arHsZfgfEiKRZeq786GwHaKK-Gy3rWsABIRwIgD0H8K_jzm8rXUhkNShoWZRXGYBubGU_dpn6hxHUDLt_yyvbwNxcWSWOm0WqWZu4btID4-2Raq_R6-voU9JoXab6-cSwWXRRh0IvTRlk4I9D9Rp2EAsnBs/s1600/Gerda%20Steiner.jpg" width="256" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">They have adorable stamps that can be used for different occasions. I never seem to have enough. I went to Newton's Nook <a href="https://www.inkypawschallenge.com/">Inky Paws Challenge </a>for Inspiration. I found some stamps I have been wanting to use and came across the <a href="https://www.newtonsnookdesigns.com/holiday-haul/">Holiday Haul</a> set.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiF_ltp2mdlCKUrG6gr9UI2a4UWGOWdurEX5RVnlP39kzTiqoiVDil7-5Iw0MnbWCL6BUy-UUsYQ-8xs_FUKjZgp9z2hAjvfO41CbGwQQQkpxeRVN0bkJtsPok4qhmmef_tst_QCsoYeGZv3tv-3gNPIjQMoX06KqykBMjnQK8yt67ZxUZ-jWJjaNqJLWc/s1158/Newtonsnook%20dec.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="982" data-original-width="1158" height="271" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiF_ltp2mdlCKUrG6gr9UI2a4UWGOWdurEX5RVnlP39kzTiqoiVDil7-5Iw0MnbWCL6BUy-UUsYQ-8xs_FUKjZgp9z2hAjvfO41CbGwQQQkpxeRVN0bkJtsPok4qhmmef_tst_QCsoYeGZv3tv-3gNPIjQMoX06KqykBMjnQK8yt67ZxUZ-jWJjaNqJLWc/s320/Newtonsnook%20dec.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I just love this truck design. This time of year is always busy and I never get everything done I think I will. Our hostess this month is Darlene and she challenged us to create a Christmas card that features colors that are not traditionally used at Christmas.</p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRFfOo_u5c4REmtzLXiJd-ciSdRRUnSU5wHmp5CZ-jfeOwzpqMap9mkLCZEhsk26pA5I2J7AILrjmd7J3-7GKPcaOhb4iVXMfZzjDZea90BIMdux_B7eRvo38hBQz4u3iAVUmh72JIAWUG1Zb7Or98UU90fmKKfpNc8REnguNzrETVldhtx6vCxeQTlDs/s800/CC%20dec%2023.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRFfOo_u5c4REmtzLXiJd-ciSdRRUnSU5wHmp5CZ-jfeOwzpqMap9mkLCZEhsk26pA5I2J7AILrjmd7J3-7GKPcaOhb4iVXMfZzjDZea90BIMdux_B7eRvo38hBQz4u3iAVUmh72JIAWUG1Zb7Or98UU90fmKKfpNc8REnguNzrETVldhtx6vCxeQTlDs/s320/CC%20dec%2023.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /> So this is my versions of a non traditional Christmas card. I went with the colors peach, purple and teal. The designer paper is from Ink Drops-Dusk by Craft Consortium. I used the darker version to cut out a wreath by Sunny Studios called Snowflake Circle Frame. I then colored the images from All Together Holiday by Taylored Expressions with my copic markers and arranged them on the wreath. The ribbon is from Darlene's stash. The sequins are from Close to My Heart. The sentiment is from Altenew Happy Holidays stamp set.<p></p><p>I really had fun with the challenge this month. It is always fun to challenge ourselves and create something out of the box.</p><p>Thanks Darlene for a great challenge.</p>Traciehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10579032985979332499noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6092490911243506837.post-41471144790232555172023-12-11T04:00:00.001-06:002023-12-11T04:00:00.147-06:00PIP Challenge #2349<p> Do you believe Christmas is only 14 days away? I hope you are all taking time to enjoy the season. I have a few loose ends to tie up but I am basically ready. </p><p>I am excited about our sponsor this week for<a href="https://pammiesinkypinkieschallenges.blogspot.com/"> Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenge #2349</a>. This week our sponsor is none other than <a href="https://www.newtonsnookdesigns.com/">Newton's Nook Designs</a> which is one of my all time favorite stamp companies. Maybe it is because of the adorable cat on their logo which reminds of the two I have at home. </p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEij0GJ2CYftUi9v0e7iXSMJW6d-G3VLZ9eSteUWKejPq5yjAtmx-cHMjsJjylpMdhhrOetsHREL9zqQ2KdOlLnf7xK5bTPdSHbcPB74n0Alg1nJ0jXjpyDp3vAgAarB3ZhwKi8UUjuf8UFh0ZGSxp2qXwKSs69ISfnc4NTZHju7LvJrbTD6L0mCMJBEWQU" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" data-original-height="100" data-original-width="250" height="128" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEij0GJ2CYftUi9v0e7iXSMJW6d-G3VLZ9eSteUWKejPq5yjAtmx-cHMjsJjylpMdhhrOetsHREL9zqQ2KdOlLnf7xK5bTPdSHbcPB74n0Alg1nJ0jXjpyDp3vAgAarB3ZhwKi8UUjuf8UFh0ZGSxp2qXwKSs69ISfnc4NTZHju7LvJrbTD6L0mCMJBEWQU" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">For my project today I am using the stamp set "<a href="https://www.newtonsnookdesigns.com/snowman-greetings/">Snowman Greetings</a>". It was hard for me to decide which stamp set to use. I have so many and they are all so cute.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjKA-F5ouhlzkDtvYKa128Nf3E5MYRQWq1zXyw1oEJsvIf_mXo7DIe0-9KTBupcXBRPCDeDR3BGJjACDgReKzlBDStnyXeNuPyGUfI0Ui8ldVpa6WG6IwMfi3MWJWgTVEMUvzCuLe3yZOs_H-nYJTSG8ypNsh2R09mjfd23BL5_uBMBDAcY4RryViCYlO8/s1143/Dec%2011.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1143" data-original-width="900" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjKA-F5ouhlzkDtvYKa128Nf3E5MYRQWq1zXyw1oEJsvIf_mXo7DIe0-9KTBupcXBRPCDeDR3BGJjACDgReKzlBDStnyXeNuPyGUfI0Ui8ldVpa6WG6IwMfi3MWJWgTVEMUvzCuLe3yZOs_H-nYJTSG8ypNsh2R09mjfd23BL5_uBMBDAcY4RryViCYlO8/s320/Dec%2011.jpg" width="252" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I colored the image with my copic markers and then used the matching die to cut it out. I added a couple hill layers of snow over the snowflake background. I also added the fence in the background along with the trees and birds. I love the way this card turned out. I even used a little bit of stickles on the snow for effect.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Thanks for stopping by to check out my card this week. Time just got away from me yesterday. Not sure why but time seems to be going so much faster than when I was younger. </p><p>Lorraine was our wonderful hostess this month and her theme for this month is "Thankful Thoughts". It made me realize how many things I am thankful for. Time just seems to fly by. Our challenge today for our Creative Crew group was to use something you love.</p><p>I love October because of the beautiful fall leaves and a chill in the area. Time for fall festivals and fall crops. My sister does a crop at the end of the month called spooktakular. It is alot of fun for all that come. I have always loved making treat boxes or bags for this event or any other event I attend. They are so much fun to make. </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjc-urXpCFYP4RCq5yXFgYYrf5XBUa8EmU-UuhHNCeR4vufbbS7u_UqETOv33Jz4E5hfGB1cmncnWC87aiAczYwtWjM82ZliEf_snsqggaUviqVHbwixgbKUPMOtlz9VoZ9lyRLZxw3PNr-dYrV1fHG4KP3ErraXyiHPHxZ85tSabRloDCXnoC8zClxEzU/s800/Oct%20bags.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="683" data-original-width="800" height="273" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjc-urXpCFYP4RCq5yXFgYYrf5XBUa8EmU-UuhHNCeR4vufbbS7u_UqETOv33Jz4E5hfGB1cmncnWC87aiAczYwtWjM82ZliEf_snsqggaUviqVHbwixgbKUPMOtlz9VoZ9lyRLZxw3PNr-dYrV1fHG4KP3ErraXyiHPHxZ85tSabRloDCXnoC8zClxEzU/s320/Oct%20bags.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">In the center you will see the treat bag I have made filled with some candy. I had these cellophane bags in my stash and went to my scrap bag of halloween papers and just used up what I had. The images are from Pretty Pink Posh called <a href="https://prettypinkposh.com/products/halloween-signs-stamp-set?_pos=1&_sid=3714c56c9&_ss=r">Halloween Signs</a>. I love <a href="https://prettypinkposh.com/">Pretty Pink Posh</a> because their stamps are just adorable and so nice to stamp with. I stamped the images out and started coloring them with my copic markers. I then used the matching dies to cut them out. I then just threw some scraps together and came up with this cute little treat bag.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">You can see the rest of the team's creations by clicking on their link below.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><p style="background-color: white; color: #514e49; font-family: "PT Sans"; font-size: 17px; text-align: center;"><a href="https://inkingintoretirement.blogspot.com/" style="color: #ea7e99; text-decoration-line: none;" target="_blank"><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">Barb</span></a></p><div class="separator" style="background-color: white; clear: both; color: #666666; font-family: "Trebuchet MS", Trebuchet, Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 13.2px;"><p style="color: #514e49; font-family: "PT Sans"; font-size: 17px; text-align: center;"><a href="http://lostinmycraftroom.blogspot.com/" style="color: #ea7e99; text-decoration-line: none;" target="_blank"><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">Carol</span></a></p><p style="color: #514e49; font-family: "PT Sans"; font-size: 17px; text-align: center;"><a href="http://accordingtobijou.blogspot.com/" style="color: #ea7e99; text-decoration-line: none;" target="_blank"><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">Darlene</span></a></p><p style="font-family: "PT Sans"; font-size: 17px; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;"><a href="https://www.cre8tiveplay.com/search?updated-max=2023-02-22T05:30:00-06:00&max-results=7&start=14&by-date=false" style="color: #2288bb; text-decoration-line: none;"><span style="color: red;">Jeanette </span></a></span></p><p style="color: #514e49; font-family: "PT Sans"; font-size: 17px; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">Lorraine - <a href="https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=209466" style="color: #ea7e99; text-decoration-line: none;" target="_blank">SCS Gallery</a></span></p><p style="color: #514e49; font-family: "PT Sans"; font-size: 17px; text-align: center;"><a href="https://itstotallyterry.blogspot.com/" style="color: #ea7e99; text-decoration-line: none;" target="_blank"><span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: medium;">Terry</span></a></p><p style="color: #514e49; font-family: "PT Sans"; font-size: 17px; text-align: center;"><br /></p></div></div><p><br /></p>Traciehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10579032985979332499noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6092490911243506837.post-50643234934231884862023-10-02T04:00:00.001-05:002023-10-02T04:00:00.161-05:00PIP Challenge #2339<p> This week's challenge for <a href="https://pammiesinkypinkieschallenges.blogspot.com/"><b>Pammie's Inky Pinkies challenges</b></a> is being sponsored by <a href="https://www.janmahew.com/"><b>Jan's Digi Stamps</b></a>. </p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjscwhhgwMHTGz9tF2MrOFgJBLzT746_h-_uUSIJsROZ8Nsz4yx5M7xCgT58Qk4TIVLF9YlnkHfXCr6NauBTEfZVlG0WlS97ps8yufEmZxxy_wJHpNwyz6C-rP9dxwg8P0jhnEFKuBEvTe_d8Mp-TqdwLiSQHpoBZ6RrBti8dQhzmyA1HYGDEvwagdhC7k" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" data-original-height="170" data-original-width="320" height="170" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjscwhhgwMHTGz9tF2MrOFgJBLzT746_h-_uUSIJsROZ8Nsz4yx5M7xCgT58Qk4TIVLF9YlnkHfXCr6NauBTEfZVlG0WlS97ps8yufEmZxxy_wJHpNwyz6C-rP9dxwg8P0jhnEFKuBEvTe_d8Mp-TqdwLiSQHpoBZ6RrBti8dQhzmyA1HYGDEvwagdhC7k" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">For my card this week I was able to use the digital image called "<a href="https://www.janmahew.com/product-page/pumpkin-blessings"><b>Pumpkin Blessings</b></a>". Maggie is our hostess this month and her challenge was to make a clean and simple card. I thought this would be an easy challenge but of course I waited until the last minute to make my card. I got my supplies out this morning and it is definitely clean and simple.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgGuvR-wAzJj-dglRT8CVimmoLS855svhjzwUsPFBogcRGdoRp0h1q49kDjMlFho-nXtyfEacaKVEBst9_XGAWLZaUhSHp1_BxjogAg8YZ4O_eV3dqstOVFrYnzdNnZbsBblLYXgc0YOWmktO8xRgAcTFC4Mz_K45zEEhyvUEN0qQ7GtPxUsMnY1Ubs2TE/s968/Sept%2028.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="968" data-original-width="800" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgGuvR-wAzJj-dglRT8CVimmoLS855svhjzwUsPFBogcRGdoRp0h1q49kDjMlFho-nXtyfEacaKVEBst9_XGAWLZaUhSHp1_BxjogAg8YZ4O_eV3dqstOVFrYnzdNnZbsBblLYXgc0YOWmktO8xRgAcTFC4Mz_K45zEEhyvUEN0qQ7GtPxUsMnY1Ubs2TE/s320/Sept%2028.jpg" width="264" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I love foxes and have had the Hero Arts Fall Fox Bundle set just sitting on my desk of stamps I want to use. I stamped the fox in the corner with the leaves. I then stamped the image on peel away tape also and put it over the fox so I could use my stencil brush around the outside of the fox. I use Distress Ink in China Blue. I then colored the image with my copic markers. So easy and fun.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Thanks Maggie for a great challenge.</div><br /><p><br /></p>Traciehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10579032985979332499noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6092490911243506837.post-26935313743472126252023-09-15T04:00:00.001-05:002023-09-15T04:00:00.148-05:00Creative Crew<p> This month's challenge for our creative crew bunch comes from Jeanette. I really had to think hard on this challenge. The September Theme is <b>A Die that's Not a Die.</b> She sent me a large stitched scallop border die. I really had to really use my thinking cap as to how I could use it in some other way than as a traditional die.</p><p>My first attempt was to make a card and use it as a border. I cut out one side and then reversed it and cut out the other side. You can see below the blue border I came up with using this technique.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6YUubxyn6mJFpNoCh5aWR1D7E8FFX3v1jJ4zzKHa4Xt_0ddgrPRPabI5VvlpHQBZ_9g8rhLV3Qd1DGlkAK0UZzlbVHJE985VgGA4LxY80ZNJmcr0WHcOb-3Ni4AJRaqmTZ0G_UEQJJkMp0Ewqy5FCvuiuT9OLlsHy4aIc12oArW0-nohzrWErZ7Nv8PY/s1221/Sep%2015.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1221" data-original-width="961" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6YUubxyn6mJFpNoCh5aWR1D7E8FFX3v1jJ4zzKHa4Xt_0ddgrPRPabI5VvlpHQBZ_9g8rhLV3Qd1DGlkAK0UZzlbVHJE985VgGA4LxY80ZNJmcr0WHcOb-3Ni4AJRaqmTZ0G_UEQJJkMp0Ewqy5FCvuiuT9OLlsHy4aIc12oArW0-nohzrWErZ7Nv8PY/s320/Sep%2015.jpg" width="252" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I really wasn't happy with my card because I still used it as a border die. So my next card was to cut out the die and then use it as a stencil. I stenciled some waves with SU Marina Mist Ink and then reversed it and stenciled some clouds using SU Pool Party Ink.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgy89bUQ_fHGw1GUbq4urY1cw4fJWmvDkyzMCsGH-GWhPplfxFslNX1YQ_Yrdw2bVCyNk0Ng1_WiMVHuEsSyQJaAbmRYABKXtOdldTUzcZHKTvEX_vMeSpjEbNPkc-k0P3XSsnN30MVftWhIDlvRFwp2XJR_-0TnVGBa3GBLPo3_YMDohIjQc1YaD6FfY4/s1266/Sep%2015%202.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1266" data-original-width="1079" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgy89bUQ_fHGw1GUbq4urY1cw4fJWmvDkyzMCsGH-GWhPplfxFslNX1YQ_Yrdw2bVCyNk0Ng1_WiMVHuEsSyQJaAbmRYABKXtOdldTUzcZHKTvEX_vMeSpjEbNPkc-k0P3XSsnN30MVftWhIDlvRFwp2XJR_-0TnVGBa3GBLPo3_YMDohIjQc1YaD6FfY4/s320/Sep%2015%202.jpg" width="273" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">So these were the 2 cards I came up with. This month for our Mystery Image swap, Jennifer sent us a truck image from Raisin Boat Stamps. She challenged us to stamp our own company logo or motto on the truck. My first thought was to make it a truck with flowers on it. So as I was searching through my stamps I found another stamp set I thought would work.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDEEAXodiqtu0JIPHdMXVdSffnHcsVu8JU8IfydNJglQs-B4BrtNPG0co7jR5Ae5Z0ICHXgXXeuyaBqrHexPgwwLKIA59Z5p-4F9bgRFMX35cCgy_u-CzXZv5D_G3MBKqzKvMaMIwA7lH1lCjQtpnexx3PWaRrIC919N1i8GpjB-PQiiIA2JiKNYzT_0I/s1033/MISAUG23.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1033" data-original-width="822" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDEEAXodiqtu0JIPHdMXVdSffnHcsVu8JU8IfydNJglQs-B4BrtNPG0co7jR5Ae5Z0ICHXgXXeuyaBqrHexPgwwLKIA59Z5p-4F9bgRFMX35cCgy_u-CzXZv5D_G3MBKqzKvMaMIwA7lH1lCjQtpnexx3PWaRrIC919N1i8GpjB-PQiiIA2JiKNYzT_0I/s320/MISAUG23.jpg" width="255" /></a></div><br /><p>In my younger days my family used to show horses. We were in 4-H and would go to horse shows almost every weekend. I did pretty well but I can't say I enjoyed it. I was always a little intimidated by the horses. I did win several aways though but mainly because I had such a great horse. When we would travel to horse shows we would be amazed at some of the fancy horse trailer/truck rigs with pictures of their horses on them. (Ours was not one of those - LOL). So this card brought back a few memories for me. I used the Stampin Up set "Let It Ride". I stamped the horse, colored it with copics and fussy cut it out. I pop dotted it on the back and put it on the back of the truck. I also stamped the trees at the bottom of the truck door. The sentiment was also in that stamp set.</p><p>So thanks Jennifer for a great challenge. I had so much fun coming up with this idea.</p><p><br /></p>Traciehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10579032985979332499noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6092490911243506837.post-20967506109802605842023-08-28T04:00:00.001-05:002023-08-28T04:00:00.243-05:00Challenge Your Stash<p> Today is reveal day for our Challenge Your Stash challenge on Splitcoaststampers. Lorraine is our hostess this month and she came up with a great challenge. Her challenge is "Here's What's Cooking". Her theme is definitely one that is close to my heart. I love to cook (ok bake anyway) so it was fun going through my stamps and finding one to use.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiTKffWGc69bQErqy6EFiP2-uZmdo4FOhwwm7Fi7OxOJHNIGz1CurDYmF5E6sJb6tZbebvmDeNBuXXh5FqQYVNYZeudIec_MyDj5vVk2iF0k7ZMecc-vlFI-5Qf4_njhBnLSTB-d27SXQc1nduQnX1Dm0gx3Sciyck3u7Qet4t8DoPZs7MJbYF08WW20E0/s991/aUG%2028.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="991" data-original-width="800" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiTKffWGc69bQErqy6EFiP2-uZmdo4FOhwwm7Fi7OxOJHNIGz1CurDYmF5E6sJb6tZbebvmDeNBuXXh5FqQYVNYZeudIec_MyDj5vVk2iF0k7ZMecc-vlFI-5Qf4_njhBnLSTB-d27SXQc1nduQnX1Dm0gx3Sciyck3u7Qet4t8DoPZs7MJbYF08WW20E0/s320/aUG%2028.jpg" width="258" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I remember as a child we grew strawberries which is still my favorite fruit to this day. My mom would always make strawberry preserves and I would help her. My sisters and I laugh because I would do anything not to have to go outside and they were the exact opposite. They wanted to be outside. So I became mom's helper.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">The stamp set I used was an old one from Papertrey Ink Called Spring Jar Fillers. I also used their small jar for the berries. I thought it would be fun to used a red plaid paper to form a table cloth with a little blue trim.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Thanks Lorraine for a great challenge this month.
