Two Paper Divas

Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones.  I hope today finds you healthy and that you are able to spend time with family and friends.

Although today is Christmas I am using one of the new sets from Two Paper Divas  called I Chews You.  I love this set because there are so many different stamps with it and you can make several cards with it.

I stamped the bubblegum machine on cardstock and then colored it with copic markers.  I then cut it out and using several of my heart dies, made a layer to it would become a shaker card.

I hope you have enjoyed the Heart Theme this month.  Next month brings another round of fun stamps.  Be sure and check back.

Two Paper Divas

Friday has rolled around again and that means it is time to post my card for Two Paper Divas.  If you are following their blog this month you will know that it is all about Hearts this month.  Today I decided to do a Clean and Simple card using the Heart Blocks stamp.

I colored the image with my copic markers and added a few embellishments.  The sentiment is from the Mason Jar Access #2 set.

I hope you are enjoying these heart themed stamp sets.  I know that I have really enjoyed making cards with them.  I am really excited about next weeks card so be sure and check back next Friday.

Two Paper Divas

Well here it is Friday again.  Boy how time is just flying by.  Can't believe it is only 2 weeks until Christmas.  I am currently working on my Christmas cards and finding that I did not make enough.  Every year I say I am going to get a better handle on this but always behind.

For my post today I am still having fun with the new Valentine sets from Two Paper Divas.  For my card today I used the new stamp set called Heart Blocks.  I colored this with my zig watercolor markers.

Even though I am behind on Christmas, I am now ahead on Valentine's Day.

We are having some beautiful warm weather in Kansas.  I know it won't continue but we are sure enjoying it while it lasts.

Two Paper Divas

Can I just say that I am super excited about this months release from Two Paper Divas that starts tomorrow.  I have been making Christmas cards since October.  I made 30 for my parents, 65 for my sister and 75 for myself.  I can just say I am ready for something new.  So when Two Paper Divas sent me a nice package of valentine stamps, I was excited.

My card today used 2 of the new sets coming out for Valentine's day.  The first one is the heart border above the lace called linked together.  I really like this stamp because I have using it for the inside of my card also.  The other stamp is the large conversation hearts with different says you can stamp on the hearts.  They are so much fun.

Be sure and check out Two Paper Divas tomorrow because they have a fantastic release for Valentine's Day.  Have a great weekend!

Vintage in KC

Today I am going out of the ordinary and posting a project that I will be teaching a class on Saturday, December 5 at Vintage in KC.  If you haven't been to Rene's store, you are really missing out.
A friend of mine asked that I come up with a fun password book to keep all those crazy passwords written down that we can't remember.

I am also working on some Valentine projects for class at the store and also for Two Paper Divas.  It has been refreshing to do something other than Christmas cards.

Hope you all have a nice week ahead.

New Paper Divas

Today I am posting my favorite card from the November release from Two Paper Divas.

I love this new Truck stamp they released this month.  It makes the month adorable card for the man in your life.  I also used the Word Block Silhouette stamp for the birthday sentiment on the card.  I colored the truck with my copic markers.

December is right around the corner and that means new stamps from Two Paper Divas.  Check back next week for some new stamps.

New Paper Divas

Time again for another card from Two Paper Divas

Sometimes you need a card to send that is just an uplifter.  I love the new sentiments from Everyday Sentiments 2 stamp set.  I chose to use the Just because stamp and added a felt flower to make the sentiment pop.

I hope you are having a great November and enjoying all of the Two Paper Diva releases.

Round 31 Mystery Swap

Today is our release day for Round 31 of a Mystery Swap that I am in with a great bunch of gals over at Splitcoast Stampers.  This month was Melina's choice and she chose her theme to be "The Three C's".  (Coffee, cookies and cupcakes).  The coffee cup is from the Fiskars set "Latte Love" and the cookie and cupcake are from "The Sweet Life" by Fiskars.  Our challenge was to use all three images on my card.  So here is my take on the card.  Thanks to Melina for a great challenge.

Two Paper Divas

I can't believe November is half over. Today I am sharing a card that I made using one of the new November release stamps from Two Paper Divas called Bloom Wildly.  I stamped the base on designer paper and then cut it out.  I also stamped the image on white card stock and then glued the paper can on top of the white can.  The other thing I like is the sentiments that they made to go right on top of the can.   This set is called "Bloom Wildly Sentiments".
I hope you enjoy this month's release from Two Paper Divas.  I heard they sold out quickly on a few of the stamps but are getting them back in stock soon.

Have a great week.

Two Paper Divas November Release

I can't believe November is here and that means Christmas is right around the corner.  This week was the November new release for Two Paper Divas and they had some great stamps out this month.
For today's card I am using one of their new background stamps. You can do so much with these stamps.  I decided just to use 3 different colors for the background and then I stamped the pretty floral stamp from the Long Stemmed Flower stamp set.

Be sure and check out the other cards made using this stamp set on the Two Paper Divas blog.  There are so fantastic ideas and Melissa and Gayla always have such great ideas.

Two Paper Divas

Well I can't believe this month is almost over.  I should be posting a fun halloween card today but thought this would go with all the candy that is hitting homes tomorrow.  The stamp set I used from Two Paper Divas is called "Truffle Treats".  I thought this sentiment went perfect with the card.  It is from the "You Make Life Sweet" stamp set.
I colored this with my zig clean color water color brushes and then used some Frosted Lace stickles over the top.  Now doesn't this just make you crave chocolate?

Two Paper Divas

Friday is here and that means time for another card using my stamps that were released in October by Two Paper Divas.  Sorry the card is crooked but it was an odd angle to take this picture.  The stamp is called "Snowman" that I used for this card.

I used my zig water color markers to color this snowman.  I then cut out the oval and then embossed it with a snowflake embossing folder. The sentiment is from Truffle Treats that is new this month.

I hope you have checked out all the new stamps this month.  I know I am having a blast with them.

Two Paper Divas

Friday is here and that means time for another post from Two Paper Divas.  I did another card with the stamp set "Branching Out".  Very simple and I love the look of the Watercolor markers.  I went around each image with a light blue color and I like the way it makes the image pop.

Round #22 Unidentified Friends

Today is the due date for our swap over at Splitcoast Stampers with a group of amazing women.  This month was Jeanette's month and she chose a halloween image which is perfect for this month.  The image and sentiment is from a company "It's Starving Artistamps" which I think is no longer in business which is sad because I love this adorable witch.  The stamp set is called "Witch Trio"
I colored the image with my copic markers and loved the colors.  So much fun to use these bright colors.

Two Paper Divas

I sure hope you checked in this week with Two Paper Divas and took a look at their new stamps for October.
For my card today I used the set called "Branching Out".  This is one of my new favorite sets.  So many stamps come with the set and they are adorable.  I decided that since it is getting cooler outside and fall is right around the corner I would go with a fall card.  I used my Zig watercolor markers and love the vibrant colors.

Be sure and check in tomorrow because I have an adorable halloween card.

Two Paper Divas

It is time again for a new release from Two Paper Divas.  I don't know how they just keep coming up with these adorable stamp sets.

I am always a fan of snowmen and this stamp is called "Snowman" which it quite appropriate.  The sentiment Joy is from their "Holiday Bingo Words 2" set which is new for this month also.

I used my zig watercolor makers for my cards this month.  I am still trying to get all the colors down.  Haven't found a true Christmas red or green that I like.  But the cards sure come together fast with those markers.  So much fun.

Be sure and watch this week for the new releases from Two Paper Divas.  I know you will love them.

Halloween Card

I am in a group of gals who like to challenge each other with different challenges each month.  This month Deanna came up with the fun stamp from Simply B Stamps called Bewitched.  I colored the image with my copics and then thought, now what?  I always love going to different sketch challenges to find something that would work with my image.  I found this great sketch challenge Hand Stamped Sentiments.
I felt this fit in perfect with what I wanted to do.
I thought it made a great Halloween  card.  Be sure and check out other people who did the challenge.  I love what people come up with on sketch challenges.

Two Paper Divas

Today I am posting a picture of one of my favorite stamp sets released this month from Two Paper Divas.  I have a new adorable great nephew named Eli and this was the perfect card for him.  I started with brayering the top card with Marina Mist Stampin Up ink and then sponged the bottom of the card with Garden GReen from Stamp up.  I then stamped the clothesline post from the "Wanna Hang Out" stamp set which I colored with my copic markers.  I then stamped the onesies, bunny and baby toys from the "Baby Clothesline Accessories Set".  I just love these little images.  I fussy cut them out and glued them on the clothesline.

What a fun set.  Can't wait to see what is in store from Two Paper Divas for October.

Two Paper Divas

Today I have made a card with my new set of stamps from Two Paper Divas called "All Stacked Up".  You have to just love this adorable set.  This reminds of a bowl of yummy potato soup or a large cup of hot chocolate.  Yes, I think fall is right around the corner.  I used my zig watercolor brushes for color in this card.  I just love the bright colors that the zig markers carry.  The sentiment is from  Two Paper Divas "Everyday Sentiments" set.

Hope you enjoy the weekend.  Go out and "Celebrate".

Mystery Swap Round 30

Here is yet another group that I have joined through Splitcoast Stampers.  My friend Kelly has been so kind to invite to these challenges.  This image is "Bouquets of Wishes" by Hero Arts.
So with this challenge I made 4 cards and passed them on.  I will then receive 3 cards back from different people.  What a great way to see what other talented people are doing.

Dueling Darlings

I have recently joined some very talented ladies through Splitcoast Stampers in a group called Dueling Darlings.  I always love a challenge.  Each month two gals pick a theme for their card kit.  This month, our hostesses were Kelly and Jeanette and they chose their theme as "Tutti Fruity".  They chose an adorable image by Penny Black called "Hedgy Gift".  The sentiment inside the card is "Apples Are Dangerous" by Riley.  Sorry I forgot to take a picture of the inside of my card.  Sentiment was perfect for this image.

Another part of the challenge was to share a favorite Tutti Fruity recipe.  So I am going to share one of my favorite fruit recipes.

Fruit Pizza
2 Cups Yellow Cake Mix
1 Egg
2 Tbsp Brown Sugar
1 Tbsp Water
1 cup chopped Pecans
2 Tbsp Melted Butter

Mix all together and spread on small cookie sheet.  Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees.  Cool completely.  Mix the following ingredients and layer on the cooled cookie.

1 cup powdered sugar
4 oz. cream cheese
1 cup cool whip

Sprinkle assorted fruit (strawberries, blueberries, peaches, pineapple, bananas, Mandarine oranges) on top of cream cheese mixture.  If you like coconut you can sprinkle coconut on top of that.  I have doubled this recipe and will fit nicely on a large cookie sheet.  Hope you enjoy this recipe.

I just love this image.  Thanks Kelly and Jeanette for a great challenge.

I love the digital stamps that are made by Faith at From the Heart Stamps.  If you follow their blog, you will know that they have a monthly challenge.  For the month of September the image is called Pumpkin Patch Girl (Faithful Friends).  This is a progressive challenge, meaning you need to play along to receive the next image for free, so come join this fun challenge.

Not only is the image adorable, there is always great sentiments to go along with the images.  I found the sketch challenge this week at MoJo Monday and thought it would be perfect for this adorable image.

Two Paper Divas

Time again for a card from Two Paper Divas September release.
This stamp set is called Big Birthday Wishes   and is so much fun to color.  I stamped the image on water color paper and then colored it with my zig clean color water color markers.  Isn't this just beautiful with those bright colors?

Check back next Friday because I have the most adorable baby card with another release from Two Paper Divas this month.

Bird Crazy

I recently purchased the Tim Holtz Bird Crazy and Flower Garden Stamp Sets.  I am having so much fun with them.  When I started to color I wondered hmmm my zig markers or the distress inks.  I thought well I will try both a decide which I like best.

I first stamped the image on watercolor paper and then clear embossed over the image.  It gives it a bit of a raised effect.  For my first image I used the following colors of Distress Inks.  For the bird I used Scattered Straw, Tumbled Glass and Spiced Marmalade.  For the Flower I used Scattered Straw, Pickled Raspberry, Gathered Twigs, Rusty Hinge and Mowed Lawn.  I thought it turned out okay.   I first saw the great idea of putting the flower on the birds head at "That's Life" Blog.  Wish I could say it was an original idea but no.
Well then I decided to used my Zig Clean Color Watercolor Markers.  Now I know why I like them so much.  Just look how vibrant the colors are on this card.  I am loving them more every day.  They blend so nicely.  For the card I used the following colors:  Bird - 051 Cobalt Blue, 051 Lemon Yellow, 070 Orange;  Flower - 050 Yellow, 025 Pink, 060 Brown, 064 Oatmeal, 041 Light Green.
The sentiment was perfect for this goofy card.  It is from Tim Holtz Crazy Talk.  One thing leads to another and each is a have to own.

I decided to enter these cards in a couple challenges:

Scrapbook Blessings Club - Anything goes - Use your Favorite Technique (Mine is currently Watercoloring)
Digitally Sweet Challenge - Use anything with wings - My little birds have wings
Creative Knockouts - Flower Power

Two Paper Divas

I thought I would give you a little preview of what is to come this month for Two Paper Divas.
This is just a fun halloween card.  One of the new sets this month from Two Paper Divas has this fun fence, bats, moon and crow.  I just love this set.  I used my brayer with a yellow ink first and then a purple for the top.  Doesn't this just look Spooky??

Be sure and check back next week because they will have released some more fun stamps.

Two Paper Divas

I continue to have fun with the August release stamps from Two Paper Divas.
Today is another fun card I made using the "My Neighborhood" set for the House, mat, trees and animals.  What I love about Two Paper Diva stamps is that they include so many extras with their sets.

I started with a piece of cardstock 4 x 5 1/4 and using my brayer, colored in the top and bottom of the cardstock.  All the images were stamped individually and fussy cut.  I then placed them on the cardstock to make a fun scene.  I decided to add the Father's Day sentiment because I am now ahead of the season.  Yeah.

Two Paper Divas

I love  the new stamps from Two Paper Divas this month.  I really like the large sentiments that work great in to cards.
This first card was fun to make because I am practicing the whole watercolor background technique.  I started by taking a piece of watercolor paper and using my zig clean color markers and a water brush and I came up with this fun background.  The name of this stamp set is Let Your Faith which is a beautiful sentiment.
I dressed up this card a bit with some flowers and ribbon.

Be sure and check out Two Paper Divas and see what they have designed this month.  Always a treat.

Freshly Made Sketches 200

Two Paper Divas is sponsoring Freshly Made Sketches today so I thought I would make a card using the sketch below.

This was a fun sketch for me because it was so simple.  But then I thought WOW that is hard.  HA!
I am loving these houses from Two Paper Divas.  They are so much fun to play with.  The owl and the spider are from Wicked Wear Accessories and the Sentiment is from Mason Jar Accessories #2.

Be sure and check out the other cards made from the sketch this week.  I am always amazed at what people get from one simple sketch.

Two Paper Divas

I am loving the new release stamps for the month of August from Two Paper Divas.  My cards today are using the new set called My Neighborhood.  It is endless what you can do with these stamps.  The first one is Christmas and I added a few elements from the On The Road Again Accessories  set which included the deer and Merry Christmas light string.  I know they were made to go with the camper set but they sure worked out great from my holiday scene.

I had a small bat die from Memory Box that worked great for this card.  It was easy to just stamp the houses on gray cardstock and the windows out of yellow cardstock and you have a fun halloween card.
So another fun release from Two Paper Divas.  Be sure and check them out and see what is new this month.

Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge #410

Over at Mojo Monday they are having a sketch challenge.  I love going to their blog to get great ideas for placement on a card when no ideas will come to me.
I decided to use a digital image I purchased called Candy Cane for Snowman that has been designed by "From the Heart Digital Stamps". It is the August Challenge Stamp.
I just love these digital stamps.  I colored it with my copic markers and added some glitter on the snowman hat and the snowflakes.  Be sure and check out the store where you can purchase these digital images designed by From the Heart Digital Stamps.

From The Heart Digital Stamps

For today's card I choose a digital stamp designed by From The Heart Digital Stamps. I have always been a fan of digital stamps and decided it was time to go back to them.  I follow along on their blog
and I am always so impressed with their design team and what they do with the digital images.
I made this card using on of their new stamps called Five Party Birds.  I love how you can size their images to any size.  I colored this image using my copic markers.  I then added a few stickles on my cupcakes and candles.  Star Dust seems to be the favorite stickles color for snow and nice sparkles.  I then used a feather die from Inspire and the banner die is from Memory Box.

I have decided to make this card as a entry in to applying to be on their design team.  Wish me luck!

Day 3 of Christmas in July

Thanks for stopping back for Day 3 of my Christmas card posting.  For today's card I used the Deck the Halls stamp set and the Holiday Season sentiment stamp.  I used my silver embossing powder for the threads coming down the card and the sentiment.  Now that I look at the picture, my ornaments aren't exactly straight on the card.  Well I guess that is just like real life.  Have you ever put an ornament on your tree straight?
Thanks again for joining in my Christmas in July week.  Remember that if you leave a comment every day, it increases your chances of winning this fun Christmas package.

Day 2 of Christmas in July

This is the second day of my Christmas in July cards.  Today I am using the Two Paper Diva stamp set called Merry Little Christmas.  I love how quickly this card went together.  I stamped the image and then cut it out with one of my dies I had.  I love the little rolled flower at the bottom that I cut out of felt.
So remember to leave a comment below so you could win this wonderful bag of Christmas goodies.  Check back tomorrow for another fun day of Christmas in July.

Christmas in July

Today I am starting a week long special for Christmas cards I have made using holiday stamps from Two Paper Divas.  Each day I am going to post a card using a stamp set that I like from Two Paper Divas.  At the end of the week I will be giving away this fun Christmas stack of goodies.  Just leave a comment any day and I will do a drawing for the winner on Saturday.

For today's card I am using the Mason Jar stamp, Mason Jar Accessories #3, Deck the Halls, and Holiday Sentiments.  I am a huge fan of the Mason Jar set.  I think it stems from my childhood and all the canning we used to do.  Hard work but I have some great memories of fresh veggies from the garden all year round because of what we canned.

Be sure and leave a comment and come back tomorrow for more holiday inspiration.

Creative Crew

This month's theme for our Creative Crew group comes from Terry and her theme is Thanks Snow Much.  What a fun theme but I hope this do...
