Since this is the 5th Saturday of the month we also have a special challenge and the theme is "Apples".
This month is a fun challenge for us on our "Challenge Your Stash" group on Splitcoaststampers. Jeanette is our hostess this month and she decided that August is the only month of the year without a significant holiday so she challenged us to make up a crazy holiday and create a card for it.
This is my card. My crazy holiday is "Celebrate Snail Mail". Who doesn't like to get a card in the mail? I sure do so I decided to create a holiday around it. The image I am using is "Cozy Wishes" from Simon Says Stamps. I stamped off the image and colored it with my copic markers. I then fussy cut the image out. The background paper is from Good Cheer by October Afternoon. I used a Gina Marie Floral Design for the background. I used white embossing powder on the sentiment and then fussy cut it out.
I hope you like my holiday. I can't wait to see what the rest of the team comes up with.
This weeks challenge over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenges is being sponsored by RAM Stamps.
I finally decided to use the adorable Birthday Bird image. I printed off the image and then colored it with my copic markers. I used a scalloped circle die to cut the image out. The papers I used are from different scraps that I had in my stash. I used a heart punch to cut out the blue hearrt.
Thanks for stopping by and be sure and check out all the cute images at RAM Stamps.
Well the 15th of the month has rolled around again which means it is time for our Creative Crew Challenge. Jeanette and Barb shared the job of hosting this month. They came up with a color challenge and a sketch challenge for us which is always fun to do.
The background paper is called Stained Rainbows by Brutus Monroe which I thought covered the colors in the challenge. The wood background is from Adventure Awaits by Honey Bee.
Thanks for stopping by and be sure and check out what the other girls did with the challenge.

Time again for another Challenge from Pammie's Inky Pinkies which will be Challenge #2631. Our wonderful sponsor this month is Taylored Expressions.
I love all the things you can buy at Taylored Expressions. I always look forward to their wonderful calendars and their floral stamps which are favorites of mine.
I had so much fun with the challenge this month on our Create From Your Stash group on Splitcoaststampers. Barb was our hostess this month and she challenged us to do a red, white and blue card with any theme or holiday. I decided to create a birthday card because that is what I use the most.
This weeks challenge #2629 for Pammies Inky Pinkies Challenges is sponsored by Gina K. Designs.
I always have a hard time deciding which adorable image to use for me card. I decided to go with a favorite of mine called "Inspiring Poppies". Unfortunately I don't see it on their website any more.
The papers I used were from Paper Roses called Poppy Garden Basics which included the embellishments I added to the card.
Be sure and check out Gina K. Designs because they have so many wonderful stamps to pick from. I see several new stamp sets that I will be adding to my stash.
The 15th of the month sure has rolled around quickly. I can't believe we are almost half way through the month. Terry was our hostess this month and she send us this adorable image from Taylored Expressions called "Silly Goose".
This was such a fun image to work with. I colored the cute little goose with my copic markers and used a scalloped rectangle die to cut the image out. For the sentiment I used a die from Fun Stampers Journey called "Banner Parade". Miscellaneous papers were used on the card. I used some China Blue Distress Oxide to go around the sentiment banner so it would stand out.

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. Today is time for Challenge #2627 for Pammies Inky Pinkies Challenges. Our sponsor this week is Lawn Fawn which we all know is a favorite stamp company of mine.
I always have a hard time deciding what image to use but with these hot days I thought I would go with something cooler. I decided to use my stamp set and matching die set called "Mice on Ice".Today is reveal day for our Challenge Your Stash Group on Splitcoaststampers. Darlene selected our challenge this month and she chose "Starry Night" and asked us to create a card with a night sky full of stars.
June seems to be going fast. The older I get, the faster time seems to go. This weeks challenge for Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenges is sponsored by Lawn Fawn.
Time for another challenge from our Creative Crew group at Splitcoaststampers. Lorraine is our hostess this month and she came up with a great challenge for us this month. Her theme she selected for us is "Trick or Treat". I always love making halloween cards using bright colors.
Pammies Inky Pinkies Challenge #2623 is up today. Our sponsor this week is Sunbird Spark.
Time again for another fun challenge from our Challenge Your Stash Group on Splitcoaststampers. I always love seeing what the hostess comes up with. Vickie is our hostess this month and she found out that May is International Respect for Chickens Month so she challenged us to create a card or project with a chicken as the main focus. Who would know there is such a thing?
I couldn't decide which chicken stamp set to use because I love chickens. Well the crafty ones anyway. For my card I am using Newtons Nook "Chicken Scratches" stamp set. Unfortunately this set has been retired but they have another cute set called "Cluck" that is on my want list. There is just something about coloring chickens that is so fun.
I decided to use the sketch challenge on Inky Paws Challenge this month.
Happy Memorial Day. I hope everyone is having a wonderful day and remembering all those heroes that gave so much for our freedom.
Today's card is for Pammies Inky Pinkies Challenges #2621. Our sponsor this week is Newton's Nook Designs which is one of my favorite stamp companies.
For my card today I am using the stamp set "Newton's Birthday Balloons" which I think is retired but I just love the image when making a birthday card. I used the paper pad from Newtons Nook called Birthday Party.
I colored the image with my copic markers and then fussy cut the image out. I used the sketch over at Inky Paws Challenge to design my card.
The 15th of the month brings our challenge for our Creative Crew group on Splitcoaststampers. It was my turn to be hostess this month so I decided to pull out a stamp set I have not used yet.
The stamp set is "Arch New Day" from Taylored Expressions. For my card I used the birdie image and stamped it off and colored it with my copic markers. I used my scan n cut to cut it out and then 1/4" larger for the teal cardstock to outline the image. The sentiment is also from Taylored Expressions called Sundry Sentiments. I just love the font used on this sentiment. The papers are from Photoplay called "Birthday Sparkle". I used a few yellow gems I had in my stash at the top left of the card.
Please check out what the rest of the team did with this image.

Today is reveal day for our Challenge Your Stash Group on Splitcoaststampers. Suzy is our hostess this month and she chose the theme of "Spring Flowers". She had a little extra challenge to choose a flower that grows in our yard/garden. Since I live in a maintenance provided neighborhood, I have very little planting space. We did plant a lilac bush last year because that is my favorite flower. The scent is just amazing. This is called Korean Spice which is not as fragrant as the old fashioned that I loved as a child but size wise works well in our space.
This weeks challenge #2617 at Pammies Inky Pinkies Challenges is being sponsored by Creative Worship Stamps.
I decided on using the mug with the mouse for my card today along with the sentiment You Warm my heart.
My second card I used Spring Flower Blocks Line Art Print. I loved the smaller squares and colored them with my copic markers. I then decided on the 2 flowers I wanted to use for my card today. I still have 2 more images to make another card. The sentiment is from the same stamp set.
The 15th of the month sure seems to roll around quickly. This means it is time for our creative crew group on Splitcoaststampers post their card for the challenge for the month. Barb is our hostess this month and her challenge is using a floral Pinkfresh Studio image called "Never Give Up". I always love floral stamps because they are so much fun to color.
I used the stamped image and colored it with my copic markers. I then used a corner rounder on all edges of the white cardstock. The pink background is paper from Carta Bella Flora No 3. I used the Elizabeth Craft Designs Dotted Scallop Rectangle Die to cut out the scalloped edges. I added a few gems from Honey Bee Simply Spring gems and placed them on the center of the yellow flowers. The sentiment is from the same Pinkfresh stamp set. Such a great image to work with.Today's Challenge #2615 over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenges is being sponsored by Lawn Fawn this week.
I am such a big fan of Lawn Fawn Stamps because you can create the most adorable scenes with their stamps. I couldn't decide which stamp set to use so I pulled out one I haven't used in a while.
The stamp set I used is called Flamingo Together. I stamped out the images and used the matching dies to cut them out. I then cut them out with my copic markers. I used a wave die that I had and circle die for the background of the flamingos. The blue background paper is from Echo Park Wish Upon A Star. Doesn't this card just remind you of the beach? This weeks challenge over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenges is sponsored by our own PIP. The theme this week is Spring/Rain.
For my card I am using the stamp set from Newtons Nook Designs called "Rainy Day". I thought this would be the perfect image for the challenge this week.
Today is reveal day for our Challenge Your Stash Group on Splitcoaststampers. This month our hostess is Sue and she challenged us to make something for St. Patrick's Day. I don't have alot of St. Patrick's Day cards so I thought I would share my March calendar that I made.
I used the stamp set from Two Paper Divas called Lucky Me. I colored the image with my copic Markers. I put a magnet behind the green paper and change the top of my calendar every month. I love these mini tear off calendars from Taylored Expressions. Thanks to Sue for a great challenge this month.

She has some darling stamps in her etsy shop and I had a hard time deciding what image to go with. Since we just moved in to March, I thought it would be nice to do a St. Patricks Day card.
I got behind this week and forgot to post my card for Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenges #2607. I was laughing with a friend on how busy we are being retired. Not sure how I ever had time to work. Our sponsor this week is RAM Stamps. They have some of the cutest digital stamps. Be sure and check them out.
