Challenge Your Stash

Today is reveal day for our Challenge Your Stash Group on Splitcoaststampers.  This month our hostess is Sue and she challenged us to make something for St. Patrick's Day.  I don't have alot of St. Patrick's Day cards so I thought I would share my March calendar that I made.

I used the stamp set from Two Paper Divas called Lucky Me.  I colored the image with my copic Markers.  I put a magnet behind the green paper and change the top of my calendar every month.  I love these  mini tear off calendars from Taylored Expressions.  Thanks to Sue for a great challenge this month.

PIP Challenge #2611

Pammies Inky Pinkies Challenges  #2611 is sponsored by Polkadoodles.

I always have a hard time deciding which image to use for my Polkadoodles card because there are so many adorable images to pick from.  I finally decided on "Must Bee Tea time Buzzy Gnome".

The papers I used were from The Bees Knees by Honey Bee Stamps.  I printed off the image on my printer and then colored it with copic markers.  I used black cardstock on each piece of paper to make the image pop.  The Hello There sentiment is from Taylored Expressions Sundry Sentiments.

I hope you check out Polkadoodles website because digital images are to fun to work with.

PIP Challenge #2609

This weeks challenge over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenges is being sponsored by Star Stampz.

She has some darling stamps in her etsy shop and I had a hard time deciding what image to go with.  Since we just moved in to March, I thought it would be nice to do a St. Patricks Day card.

The image I used for this card is called Four Leaf Clover.  I started my card my printing the image on my printer and coloring it with my copic markers.  The papers I used were from Happy St. Patricks Day collection by Echo Park.  I used a stitched circle die to cut the image out with.  I then layered the papers.  The sentiment is from "Lucky Me" by Two Paper Divas.  I used the Sentiment Strips Dies by Pretty Pink Posh to cut the sentiment out with.  I used a Pink Fresh Emerald City gem in the center of the larger Four Leaf Clover.

Be sure and check out Star Stampz etsy store for fun digital stamps.

PIP Challenge #2607

I got behind this week and forgot to post my card for Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenges #2607.  I was laughing with a friend on how busy we are being retired.  Not sure how I ever had time to work.  Our sponsor this week is RAM Stamps.  They have some of the cutest digital stamps.  Be sure and check them out.

For my card this week I decided to use "Friendship Mouse Digital Stamp".

I started by printing the image off on my printer and then coloring it with copic markers.  I got a new Canon printer and love how it prints and it makes my coloring so much easier with no bleeding.  I then used a circle die to cut the image out.  The papers I used are 49 and Market Vintage Artistry Colors Lilac.  The butterfly was in the paper package so I fussy cut it and added it to my card.  The sentiment is from Sundry Sentiments by Taylored Expressions.  It is my favorite sentiment stamp to add to my cards.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you check out RAM Stamps.

PIP Challenge #2605

Yikes - I almost forgot to post my card for Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenge #2605.  Our sponsor this week is Lawn Fawn.

I know we all love Lawn Fawn.  I had so much fun with my card today.
I started this card with a 4 x 5 1/4" sheet of cloud paper I had.  I then cut out green cardstock with MFT grass die.  I then stamped off the tree from "Heart Tree" by Lawn Fawn and colored it with my copics.  I love how you can put different sentiments in the heart on the tree. I then stamped off the birds and little mice from the stamp set "It's a Bird" and colored them with my copic markers.  The sentiment at the bottom of the card is from "Year Two" by Lawn Fawn.

I always love creating little scenes with Lawn Fawn Stamps.  I hope you check out the rest of the design team at PIP Challenges to see what they created.

Challenge Your Stash

The 28th sure rolled around quickly.  Hope everyone is staying warm with this crazy weather we have been having.  At least I am getting lots of projects done so I don't mind too much.

Jeanette is our hostess this month for our Challenge Your Stash.  Jeanette came up with a great challenge this month.  Since January 24th is Belly Laugh Day, she asked us to create a humorous card.  Since I waited until yesterday to think about this card, I thought I would use the card I made for my sisters birthday.

I'm not sure this card is humorous, but it has to make you smile.  My sister is crazy about the highland cows to I found a die by Jaded Blossom called Gnome Friends Cow Die.  It was so fun to cut out and put together.  The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom also called Hay Friend.  The paper is used is by October Afternoon called Sarsaparilla .

Thanks to Jeanette for such a great challenge this month.  I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with.  I'm sure we could all use some humor.
