PIP Challenge #2527

Happy July.  In Kansas we are in a warm spell.  Hopefully we will get some rain this week to cool things down and give our plants some water.

Today is Challenge #2527 for Pammies Inky Pinkies.  This week is being sponsored by Lawn Fawn which I am sure we all love.  I just love their stamps and it is so fun to create a scene with them.

For my card today I decided to use my stamp set "Little Woodland Library"  I am an avid book reader so this stamp set really caught my eye.
I stamped off the images and then fussy cut them out.  They also have a matching die set if fussy cutting is not your thing.  I then created my background with the papers I found in my stash.  I love using up my scraps.  I also stamped off the sentiment and added it to the top and bottom of the card.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.  I hope you check out the other cards at Pammies Inky Pinkies and join us this week for the challenge.

Challenge Your Stash

This month sure went fast.  So fast that I forgot my 28th challenge.  Since it is a short month for me, I just got behind.  Vickie was our hostess this month and she challenged us to make a vintage card.

For my card I went to my stash and used alot of things that were in my scrap pile.  The papers (and Butterfly) are from Mintay papers "Lavender Farm".  I just love these papers.  I used a scallop circle die for the aqua part and found a lone doily I had in my stash.  I used the SU scallop tag topper punch for the floral tag and used some purple twine I had in my drawer.  I also found a small piece of lace that went perfectly on the bottom of the card.  I added some white flowers that I had and the With Sympathy sentiment.  Not sure where it came from.  I had stamped a bunch and used the matching die to cut them out.  Nice to have to just put on the front of a card if you are in a hurry.  I added a few purple gems at the top of the card.

Thanks to Vickie for helping me use up some scrap supplies in my closet.

PIP Challenge #2525

Pam from Pammies Inky Pinkies will be sponsoring our challenge this week.  She will be giving a $25 gift card to My Favorite Things to the winner.  And who wouldn't love a gift certificate to one of the best stamp companies?  Pam told us we could use any stamp we wanted for our post this week.

I decided to pull out one of my favorite stamp sets which is Spring Critters Occasions by Close To My Heart.  I love foxes so this one was so fun for me to make.  I stamped the image and colored it with my copic markers.  I then used the matching die to cut it out.  I went with a simple layout using papers from I Love Crafting by Echo Park.  I have always loved this color combination.

I hope to see your entries this week for a chance to win the $25 gift certificate.

Creative Crew

Darlene was our hostess this month for our Creative Crew group.  She challenged us to make a masculine card with items she sent us.

I decided to make this fun fold card using the Pretty Pink Posh scallop box die and all the fun images she sent us.  The images and sentiments were from Mr Fix It by Gina K designs.  I used a silver backgroud and the put it through a dotted die to make it look like a peg board to hang your tools.

Thanks to Darlene for a great kit.

PIP Challenge #2523

Happy June.  Can't believe we are almost halfway through the year.  Pammies Inky Pinkies Challenge #2523 this week is being sponsored by Sunbird Spark (Formerly Penguin Palace).

I couldn't decide which digital stamp to use for my challenge card today so I made 2.

The stamp set for this card is called "Puddles of Fun".  There are so many different elements to this stamp set.  I decided to use the girl with umbrella and the sentiment from the stamp set.  I printed off the image on m printer and colored it with my copic markers.  I then cut it out with my Brother Scan n Cut machine.  I added a few elements to the card to highlight the image.  The stitched sun is from Lil Inker and the Swirl Switch Clouds is by Memory Bound.
The second card is from the stamp set "Milk, Tea, or Me".  For this card I used the cow in tea cups along with the sentiment.  I printed the image off the image and colored it with my copic markers.  I then cut it out with my Brother Scan n Cut machine.  I used a simple design to highlight the cute little image.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and be sure and see what other cards the design team came up with this week at Pammies Inky Pinkies Challenges.

PIP Challenges 2521

I am so excited for my card today because our sponsor this week for Pammies Inky Pinkies Challenges is Newtons Nook Designs which is one of my favorite stamp companies.  Might be because their logo has a yellow kitty on it that reminds me of my cat Rocky.

For my card I am using the stamp set Puppy Friends.  Unfortunately I think this stamp set has been discontinued which makes me sad because I think it is such a cute stamp set.

I colored the image with my copic markers and then fussy cut it out and put it on the circle die.  The papers I used were from Fur Friends by Amy Design.  I found a sketch challenge on Newtons Nook Inky Paws Challenge and thought it would be fun to create a card using it.
I hope you join us at Pammie's Inky Pinkies this week.

May Creative Crew

Today is reveal day for our Creative Crew group on Splitcoaststampers.  We are 7  card making friends that met years ago on SCS and formed this fun little group.

Each month once of us will host the challenge.  May was the month I chose to be hostess.  I love flowers of all kinds and May has so many beautiful flowers blooming.  The iris, peonies, magnolia, etc. are just a few that I saw this week on my walk.

In my kit this month I sent the following item:

Images of "Perfect Posy" by Gina K. Designs

Several sheets of Life is Beautiful designer paper by Echo Park

Butterflies for SU Embosslits Beautiful Wings

Misc Gems

I decided to do a fun fold card for my card this month.  I colored the image with my copic markers and started putting the card together.

I'm not sure exactly what this fold is called but I like that it tucks in the triangle on the front of the card.  So fun to put together.

Be sure and check on the links below to see what the other girls came up with.

I hope everyone had fun with the image this month.
