Creative Crew

The 15th of the month sure has rolled around quickly.  I can't believe we are almost half way through the month.  Terry was our hostess this month and she send us this adorable image from Taylored Expressions called "Silly Goose".

This was such a fun image to work with.  I colored the cute little goose with my copic markers and used a scalloped rectangle die to cut the image out.  For the sentiment I used a die from Fun Stampers Journey called "Banner Parade".  Miscellaneous papers were used on the card.  I used some China Blue Distress Oxide to go around the sentiment banner so it would stand out.

PIP Challenge #2627

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday.  Today is time for Challenge #2627 for Pammies Inky Pinkies Challenges.  Our sponsor this week is Lawn Fawn which we all know is a favorite stamp company of mine.

I always have a hard time deciding what image to use but with these hot days I thought I would go with something cooler.  I decided to use my stamp set and matching die set called "Mice on Ice".

I first stamped off the images and colored them with my copic markers.  I used the matching dies to cut them out.  I took a piece of white cardstock and used the hillside die to cut the top out.  I then sponged the bottom part of the white card stock and formed an ice rink.  I pop dotted the images on to the ice rink.  I also added the lamp post and trees to the card.

Thanks for stopping by to check out my card.  I hope you visit "Lawn Fawn" and see what cute stamp sets they have.  I can't wait to get my hands on their new summer release.

Challenge Your Stash

Today is reveal day for our Challenge Your Stash Group on Splitcoaststampers.  Darlene selected our challenge this month and she chose "Starry Night" and asked us to create a card with a night sky full of stars.

For my card I am using Lawn Fawn Upon a Star with matching dies.  I colored the images with my copic markers and used the matching dies to cut them out.  I used a little bit of gold Stickles on the stars.  I cut some hills using the MFT Slimline Grassy Hills die and sponged them with a little dark green ink.  I used white embossing ink on the sentiment.

Such a great challenge.

PIP Challenge #2625

June seems to be going fast.  The older I get, the faster time seems to go.  This weeks challenge for Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenges is sponsored by Lawn Fawn.

I am a real fan of Lawn Fawn and love creating scenes with their adorable images.  I decided to go with a winter scene for my card today.

For my card I am using the stamp set "Here we go a-waddling".  I stamped all the images off and colored them with my copic markers and cut them out with matching dies.  I found a scrap piece of snowflake paper for the background and then used the "Stitched Hillside Borders" die on white cardstock to form the hills.  I sponged around the edges of the hills with Stampin Up Pool Party Ink.  I stamped the sentiment on the hills using my Misti so I could get the curve just right.  I added a couple snowflake embellishments I had in my stash.

I hope you check out Lawn Fawn and their adorable stamps.  I have my eye on their new release.

Creative Crew

Time for another challenge from our Creative Crew group at Splitcoaststampers.  Lorraine is our hostess this month and she came up with a great challenge for us this month.  Her theme she selected for us is "Trick or Treat".  I always love making halloween cards using bright colors.

The image is called Miss October from Close To My Heart.  She sent us 2 sizes and I decided to use the smaller one.  I colored the image with my copic markers and this cut the image out with a scallop oval die.  The papers I used are Moster Madness by Doodlebug and A Little Scary by Fancy Pants Designs.  I also used a bit of the Offray ribbon she sent.

I hope you enjoyed my card.  Check out the rest of the team by clicking on their name below to see what they did with the challenge.

PIP Challenge #2623

Pammies Inky Pinkies Challenge #2623 is up today.  Our sponsor this week is Sunbird Spark.

I hope you visit their website to see some of the beautiful images they have.  For my card today I decided to use "Crafty Friend".  I printed the image off and colored it with my copic markers.  I had some scraps of crafty paper and used it for my card.

I have several friends that I could send this card to.  For sure we need to be creative everyday to brighten our days.

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope to see your creations this week over at Pammies Inky Pinkies Challenges.

Challenge Your Stash

Time again for another fun challenge from our Challenge Your Stash Group on Splitcoaststampers.  I always love seeing what the hostess comes up with.  Vickie is our hostess this month and she found out that May is International Respect for Chickens Month so she challenged us to create a card or project with a chicken as the main focus.  Who would know there is such a thing?

I couldn't decide which chicken stamp set to use because I love chickens.  Well the crafty ones anyway.  For my card I am using Newtons Nook "Chicken Scratches" stamp set.  Unfortunately this set has been retired but they have another cute set called "Cluck" that is on my want list.  There is just something about coloring chickens that is so fun.

I decided to use the sketch challenge on Inky Paws Challenge this month.

The papers are from Mintay Farm Life.  I colored the images with my copic markers and then fussy cut them out.  I had a fence die that I used with the tan paper.

Thanks to Vickie for a great challenge this month.
