PIP Challenge #1843

Challenge #1843 at Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenges, our theme is "Leaves" and is sponsored by Di's Digital Stamps.  She has some adorable images in her store so please check out her store.  Later this week I hope to post a picture of a card I am making with one of her digital stamps.

Since our challenge this week is leaves, I decided to make a card using a new technique I learned using waxed paper.  There is a great tutorial on how to do it at "The Graphic Fairy".
I used a leaf embossing folder for this card and a Stampin Up stamp for the leaf and acorns.  Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see your project at Pammie's Inky Pinky Challenges for a chance to win a $12 gift certificate to Di's Digital Stamps.

Challenge Your Stash

Today's project is for a challenge on Splitcoast Stampers in our "Challenge Your Stash" group.  Suzy was our hostess this month and she said to create a Halloween card.  Well I have been busy making Halloween treat boxes for a crop I am helping my sister with.  So I thought this would be the perfect thing for my challenge.

I made 50 of these matchbox treat boxes using my envelope punch board.  I then colored 50 of these adorable images from Stampin Up Trick or Tweet stamp set.  Since our event is called "Spooktakular" I thought the sentiment was perfect.  When you open the box, the image pops up.

What fun these were to make.  Thanks Suzy for a great challenge.

Dueling Darlings

I am a day late in posting my challenge card for our Dueling Darlings group over at Splitcoaststampers.  In this thread we have 2 groups (Dazzlers and Divas).  Each month we have a hostess for each group.  This month our hostesses were Kelly and Jeanette.  I am in the Dazzler group and received a kit from Jeanette.  The theme this month is Kindness.
The image Jeanette selected was "Teddy and Me" by Stampavie.  The kind word was from Simon Says.  I colored up the image with my copic markers and used a MFT die to outline the image.  Thanks to Jeanette for a great challenge.

Well it doesn't end here.  Kelly accidently sent me her image also so I thought I would have fun with it.
The image is from Unity Stamps.  I colored up the image with my copic markers and then cut it out with a circle.  I tried to use most of the fun embellishments that Kelly sent.

Thanks girls for a great challenge this month.

PIP Challenge #1841

Monday brings around Challenge #1841 for Pammie's Inky Pinkies.  This week is sponsored by Gerda Steiner Designs.
They will be offering a $15 prize code to a lucky winner so be sure and link up your creation over at PIP Challenges.
For my card I used the "Squirrel with Acorns" digital stamp from Gerda Steiner Designs. I colored this cute little guy with my copic markers and then added the acorn and leaf diecuts.  I hope you have tried their digital stamps.  They are such a bargain and you can size them easily and they can be stored in your computer.  How much easier does it get?

Thanks for stopping by and check back tomorrow because I have 2 cards I will be posting.

Happy Fall

Today I am sharing a card I made for a challenge over at Splitcoaststampers.  Vickie was our hostess this month and she was able to choose the image.
The image is from a retired Stampin Up set called Sweet Seasons.  I colored the image with my copic markers and added the SU Leaf and used the SU punch for the sentiment on the side.

I know fall is just around the corner because I am seeing lots of pumpkins out and the trees have started to turn colors.  What a beautiful season.

Crafters of Faith

Today is reveal day for our Crafters of Faith group on Splitcoaststampers.  Liz is our hostess this month and she chose the scripture Luke 11:9 "Ask and it shall be given to you.  Seek and ye shall find.  Knock and it shall be opened onto you."  Liz challenged us to use a stamp or something that was given to us by someone.  Well I have some great friends that create with me and they are always giving me such wonderful things.

My friend Silvia gave me this adorable card stamp because she knows I have 2 cats.  I stamped the image off onto a 4 x 5 1/4" card base and colored it with my copic markers.   I had to color them to match my kitties.  The sentiment was from The Stamps of Life called fluffy cat pudgie4.  My sister gave me this set for my birthday and I thought it would be perfect for the card.

Thanks for the great challenge Liz.

Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenge #1839

Two weeks sure has flown by.  It is hard to believe that it is October 1st already.  We are still having warm weather so it doesn't really feel like fall yet.  Today brings us Challenge #1839 for Pammie's Inky Pinkies.  I am super excited about our challenge this week because it is sponsored by one of my all time favorite stamp companies "Newton's Nook Designs".  I guess I love their stamps so much because I am a cat lover and their cat stamps have such personality.

I decided to go a different route this week because I also love florals and I used Peony Blooms by Newton's Nook Designs for my card.
I just purchased the Altenew watercolor 36 Pan Set and I just love the colors in the set.  I am still working on my watercolor technique.  The scalloped designer paper is from Newton's Nook Designs "Frames & Flags Die".  I use it a lot because it makes such a beautiful border.

I stamped the image on watercolor paper with Versafine black ink and then used a clear embossing powder over the ink.  This gives the image a nice raised effect and is great when doing watercoloring.

Thanks to Newton's Nook Designs for being our sponsor this week.  Be sure and check out the rest of the Design Team beautiful creations at Pammie's Inky Pinkies.  Join us with your creation on the blog because it is "Anything Goes" when you submit your design.

PIP Challenge #2409

I am a little late in posting my card for Pammies Inky Pinkies Challenge #2409 .  Our internet was down all day yesterday.  Oh the joys of...
