Challenge Your Stash

It is time for the Challenge Your Stash reveal.  This month challenge is from Terry L. with a group I am in on Splitcoast Stampers.  The challenge is to use floral as my focal point.
I decided to use the Stampin Up Circle of Spring Stamp that I just love.  I colored the images with my watercolor crayons.  I actually cut out 3 wreaths and colored one with zig watercolor markers, one with watercolor crayons and one with copic markers.  This is the one I ended up with.  And it made a beautiful Mother's Day Card.

Thanks Terry for  a great challenge.

Prickley Pear Team 1

Today Team 1 is up over at the Prickley Pear Blog

The stamp set I am using for this card is Bold Daisies.  The Butterfly is from the Clear Mini Butterfly set and the Happy Birthday is from the Circles Set.  I had fun coloring this image with my copic markers.  I find that a little black accent really makes the image stand out.

I hope you enjoyed the card.  Be watching this week because I have alot of new creations for Prickley Pear.  You have to just love the choices they have.

Thanks for stopping by.

PIP Challenge #1721

Time again for another challenge from Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenges.  This challenge (#1721) is Anything Goes as always.

This week is sponsored by Fred She Said Stamps.  As always I love her digital stamps.

For my card today I used the image "Doodled Floral Corner Digi". I printed the image off on 90 lb watercolor paper which works amazing for digital stamps.  I then colored this fun image with my zig water color markers.  I thought it turned out to be a bright and cheerful card.

Be sure and check out what the rest of the design team has come up with.

Mystery Image #40

Today is the reveal day for our Mystery Image #40.  This month Carol chose our image.  I must say that I really enjoyed this image.
The image is from Art Impressions and is from the Live, Love, Laugh stamp set.  I found this Stampin Up paper in my stash and then found copic markers to match my background.  As I get older, I appreciate the humor of birthdays.

Thanks Carol for a great challenge.

Dueling Darlings May

The 15th of the month brings around a challenge that I am in where we have someone pick a challenge for the month.  This month Judy and Debbie selected the theme which is flowers.  Debbie selected a flower stamp from Stampin Up.

I colored the image with my copic markers and I know it doesn't show very well but I colored 2 images and then cut the bottom part of the petal out of the flower and paper pieced it on top with a pop dot to give it some dimension.  I love flowers so of course I loved this challenge.

Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps May Release

Today is the last posting for the May Release from Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps.  But don't worry, I have a few more cards scheduled for this month.
I just love this little frog on a toadstool.  Isn't it adorable?  I decided to put  a sentiment on the clouds.  It is from the Dragonflies 2 Clear Stamp Set.  I colored the images with my copic markers and added a few flowers in my grass.  I also used the Flourish Oval Die to give the card a little dimension.

Thanks for joining me on this May Release from Prickley Pear.  I hope you have enjoyed it as much as I have.

Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps May Release

Day 3 of the Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps May Release.  If you have checked out this release, I know you have seen something that you must have.
This is one of my favorite sets from this new release.  You have to love tulips and this set just made them stand out.  I colored the image with my copic markers.  The sentiment is also from the May release.  I used the Flourish Oval die to go around the image and outline.

See you tomorrow for another creation.

Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps May Release

Today is the day we have all been waiting for.  It is time for a New Release from Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps.  This will be the first new release I have been part of since joining their Design Team.  Well I can say that they hit it out of the park on this release.  I have been having so much fun playing with these new images.

I will be posting a card every day this week to show some of what I have done.

I colored the image with my copic markers.  You have to just love these bright colors.  The butterfly is from the Mini Butterflies Clear Stamp Set.  The sentiment is from Circles Set - Sentiments.

Be sure and check back tomorrow because I will have a new creation.  Also check out the Prickley Pear Blog and see what the rest of the Design Team has created.

PIP Challenge #1719

Today is a new challenge for PIP Challenges.   Today is Challenge #1719 and is sponsored by SparkleNSprinkle.  I chose to use the fun stamp set called Jefferson.   For some reason I am loving Flamingos lately.  Must be because I love the color pink.
I printed this digital image on watercolor friendly paper and then colored my lovely flamingos with my zig watercolor markers.  You get 5 different images with this set.  A real bargain and you can size them any way you want them.

Since I was having fun with this image I decided to make another card using another image from the same stamp set.  The scalloped circle background is just some fun I was having with my distress oxides.  I then colored the image with my zig markers and then cut the image out using my Brother Scan n Cut machine.  It works great with these digital images.

Remember anything goes with PIP Challenges so be sure and link up  your creation. And be sure and check out SparkleNSprinkle for all their digital selections.

Crafters of Faith Challenge

Today I am posting a card I made for a challenge on Splitcoast Stampers.  The group is called Crafters of Faith and each month someone comes up with a challenge.  This month the theme is supposed to find something that brings us comfort.  Well I need to look no further that outside my door and all the beautiful flowers that are in bloom right now.  They definitely bring me lots of comfort.  And since Comfort is the theme, I thought I would make a Sympathy card that would bring someone else comfort.
I used the Gorgeous Grunge Stampin Up set for the background.  I then decided to use my zig watercolor markers to color in the flower from the Stampin Up Bloom with Hope.  The sentiment and inside of the card sentiment is also from Bloom with Hope.

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges.
Creative Fingers Challenge #129 - Anythings Goes
Crafting When We Can Challenge #143 - Clean and Simple

Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps

It seems like forever since I have posted some of my fun creations from Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps.  I do need to get better at showing off my beautiful cards I make.  Today Team 1 is up and we all get to post one of our cards.
This card is for all my Kansas City crafting friends.  We started calling ourselves the Iris Buds.  My sister even had aprons, bags and coin purses with iris fabric for each of us.  So I found this Iris Red Rubber Stamp in the Prickley Pear store.  I added a doily to make it stand out and a little lace.  So this is to all my Iris Bud Friends.  You are the best.

Enjoy and be sure and check out what the other team members made at the Prickley Pear Blog.

PIP Challenge #2409

I am a little late in posting my card for Pammies Inky Pinkies Challenge #2409 .  Our internet was down all day yesterday.  Oh the joys of...
