Challenge Your Stash

Well I am a day late for our Challenge Your Stash group on Splitcoaststampers.  It has been one crazy week and I have been busy making samples for Vintage in KC (a fun creative arts store) that I help out at.

But I loved the challenge this month from our hostess Barb,  Her challenge for us this month was to make some form of slimline card.  I decided to make a mini slimline card.

For my card I used the sentiment and bee images from Hap-Bee Birthday by Whimsy Stamps.  I also used the mini slim Circle Window Cutting Plate from Taylored Expressions with the black paper as the background.  I used some honeycomb paper for the background.

Thanks Barb for a great challenge this month.

PIP Challenge #2121

Time again for a new challenge over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies.  Today's challenge is being sponsored by Polkadoodles.

I was excited to receive the images for our design team and could not decide which image to use for my card today so I used both.

The card above I used the digital stamp "Just a Note" and colored it up with my copic markers after printing on my printer.
This card I used the digital stamp "Hello Spring" and printed it off and colored with my copic markers.

I just love digital images because you can size them any way you want.  And the costs are just amazing.  You must check out Polkadoodles for all your digital needs.

I would like to enter the first card in the following challenges:

Classy Card Ladies

Usually we post our cards for the Classy Card Ladies on the 15th but the post office had other ideas of delivering kits on time.  Our hostesses this month were Shelly (for the Pearls) and Carol (for the Diamonds).  Their challenge this month was to make a wedding card.  Well I know I will be needing several in the months to come so this was perfect timing for me.

The stamps that were used on this card were from Great Impressions.  I just love these adorable mice.  The sentiment is by Heart and Soul.

The designer paper used was Bazzill.  The white base is a scalloped Slimline die by CC Designs.  I used a scallop circle to cut out the dark gray for the background of my images.  There were so many goodies in my bag to use and I did my best to used a little of each one.

Thanks to Shelly and Carol for a great theme this month.  If you click on the names below you will see what the other gals did with images this month.

PIP Challenge #2119

This week over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies it is being sponsored by a new digital company called We are 3.

They have some of the most beautiful digital paper, sentiments and images.  For my card today I am using Margaret's Iris circular border.  When you purchase this image, you actually get 4 different iris borders.  I am a huge fan of irises and thought this one was perfect.

I printed off the image and cut it out with a circle die.  I then used a scalloped circle die in the dark purple to really make the image stand out.  The Enjoy sentiment is a Jilly Bean stamp and die.  I used white embossing powder on the word Enjoy.

I hope you check out We are 3 because they have some amazing images at very reasonable prices.

Fun Card Kits

I am in a fun group on Splitcoaststampers where we each take a month and send a card kit to the hostess.  You get to pick your them of what you would like.  April was my month to receive kits and boy did I hit the jackpot.  Each of the kits sent to me were stamps I did not have or have not used.  I finally got cards made from all my kits so I thought I would highlight all the cards I made from each person.

These 2 cards were from kits sent to me from Terry S.  The above stamp is Stamps Happen Gardening Shelf and the stamp below is SU Serene Song.  She sent me papers from Carta Bella Flower Garden.

These 2 cards were made using a kit from Barb D.  The images are from Gina K. Designs Lace Flowers and the papers are from Stampin Up Share What You Love.

Shelly sent me these images.  I believe both stamps are from Colorado Craft Company.  Not sure of the paper line.

These 2 cards were made from kits from Carol.  She sent me the actual stamps which I will continue to use in my card making.  The top one is by Hampton Art called Roses and the bottom one is called Morphic Flowers by Inkadinkadoo.  Not sure of the paper line but I sure love it with the pinks and black papers.

These 2 cards were made with kits from Maggie.  The top card was made with images from Beautiful Botanicals from Simply Cards and Papercraft and the bottom card is an image from CC Designs.  The papers used are from Bo Bunny Madeleine Collection.

And last but not least are the beautiful rose cards I was able to make with a kit from Darlene.  She sent me the Gina K Designs Rose Stamp which I love.  The designer paper is Garden Tour by Gina K also.

So that is it for all the cards I made with the wonderful kit I received.  My request was for flowers and my friends sure knocked it out of the park in sending me images.

Inky Paws Challenge

I sure am enjoying the beautiful weather we are having in Kansas.  The flowers are in bloom and the smells are just lovely as I go on my daily walk.

Today's card I made is for Inky Paws Challenge #147 over at Newtons Nook Designs.  The challenge this week is a sketch challenge which I always love playing with.

For my card I decided to use the stamp set "Dainty Daisies".  This was such a fun image to color with my copic markers.
I hope you enjoyed my card today and be sure and check back and see what I have planned for the rest of the week.
