Stella Says Sketch Challenge

They are have a sketch challenge over at Catch The Bug Challenge Blog.   I just love the Bugaboo Digital Stamps.  They have such personality.  The older I get, the more I appreciate a little humor in my life.  I was finishing up a few of my Easter cards and thought this would be the perfect sketch for my card.

The image I used for this card is called Gus - Happy Keester.  I love the bright colors in this card.  I used my copic markers to color this image.  I hope everyone enjoys my take on this challenge.

Dad Birthday

Today is my dad's birthday so I made this card for him.  I had seen something similar to this on Pinterest and thought it would be perfect for this card.  He used to love to hunt so of course I had to put a deer on the card somewhere.

Sorry about the blurry picture but it is in the mail and I can't re-take the picture.

Happy birthday Dad!

Twisted Tuesday Challenge

Today's challenge over at Twisted Tuesday Challenges is "Pearls and Banners".  You are to use Pearls somewhere on your project and the twist is to use a banner somewhere.

I decided to use one of my favorite digitals from Dearie Dolls.  It is called "Bunny Girl with Easter Basket".  Be sure and visit Dearie Dolls because all of her images are free and they are just so darn adorable.  I used my copics to color this sweet little image.

So I have one Easter Card done and a few more to do.

Pamper Yourself Jar

Happy Birthday to my friend and co-worker Debbie.  She always gives me homemade goodies for my birthday so I decided to make her a "Pamper Yourself" Jar. I filled the jar with aloe socks, candle, lip balm, mints, hand lotion, hand  scrub, fresh bar soap, eye gels and of course chocolate.  I cut 2 pieces of cardstock 2" x 12" and pieced together to go around the jar.  I them used the SU Apothecay Art Stamp and colored the flowers with my copics.  I topped off the jar with some different floral die cuts that I had.  Thought it would be fun to layer.

So Happy Birthday to Debbie.

Jackie Birthday Card

Today I made a birthday card for a friend of mine, Jackie.  We always enjoy a nice glass of wine when we get together and so when I saw this image at Bugaboo Digi Stamps, I realized that this would be the perfect image for my card.  You have to love those images.  They just make me smile.

I have decided to enter this card in the following challenges:
Crafty Catz - Make me/you laugh
Tuesday Alchemy - Anything Goes

Birthday Card

I made this card for my friend Debbie for her birthday on St. Patty's day.  I decided I had to have green on her card in honor of St. Patricks Day.  I used the stamp set Lovely Layers by Papertrey Ink.  I really like this stamp set but I think I learned a valuable lesson in washing my stamps.  I usually take them to the bathroom sink and just wash them off with soap and water.  Well I did it with this stamp set and sad to say the center stamp set is now on its way through our water system because down the pipes it went.

So Happy Birthday to Debbie.  I hope it is a good one.

Twisted Tuesday Challenge

Today over at Twisted Tuesday Challenge, they have a new challenge this week.  The challenge is to make something "Spring Like".  With 2 feet of snow still on my yard, I was ready to make a nice springy card.  I had went to Remember This Remember That  one year anniversary in Gardner found some new stamps that they are carrying called Lawn Fawn.  I used the Happy Easter set to make this card.  Isn't is so adorable?   The twist for the challenge was to be green by using something recycled or the color green.  You will notice some green grass.  I colored these images and then cut them out and put on the card.  I sponged the background with some blue ink so make it look like sky.

I would like to enter this in the following challenge:
Lawnscaping Challenge (Grass, ric rack, textured paper)

Black and White Baby Quilt

Today I finished up a baby quilt for my sister.  She asked for black, white and hot pink.  This is what I came up with.  Hope the new baby likes it.  Such pretty cheerful colors.

Creative Crew

This month's theme for our Creative Crew group comes from Terry and her theme is Thanks Snow Much.  What a fun theme but I hope this do...
