I received this wonderful surprise package from my secret sister and I must say I love it. I just love everything she sent but my favorite things are the Martha Stewart Punch, a new stamp set from Flourishes called "From the Garden" and a new favorite of mine Designer Paper pad Miss Caroline by Jen Allyson. I love every page of this cardstock. I decided to cover a little notebook with one of the images in the stamp set.
This was the card I sent my secret sister using another image from this set. Isn't it the cutest. Now I think I might make a mothers day card with the same stamp set and papers. Love it.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #142
Today I decided to try something a little different. I decided to make a baby card for the sketch challenge over at Tuesday Morning Sketches.
I used the digital duck image from "Rainy Days" from Two Paper Divas. I just love this particular stamp set because there are so many different elements to it and you can use them for so many different cards.
I used Stampin Up Designer Paper. For embellishments I used some colorful flowers and found these cute ducky buttons I had and cut the shanks off the back. They fit into the theme very well. I added some bakers twine to give it a little extra splash. To make the waves, I used my Stampin Up scallop punch and sponged some blue in 3 different layers to make it look like water.

CardPatterns Challenge
This week is volunteer week and I work with the most fabulous volunteer you will every come across. Her name is Margaret and I just had to make her a cute card to show my appreciation in everything she does. She has a beautiful garden so I had to work my theme around flowers and butterflies. When I saw the sketch challenge at CardPatterns, the card just came together.
I started with the carnation stamp from Papertrey Ink and colored it with my copic markers (R20, R22 & R240). This a my favorite copic color combination. I then cut out the image and scalloped circle behind it with my spellbinder dies. The doily is from a Martha Stewart set. The green leaves is a new die I purchased from PTI. I know I will be using it alot. The butterflies are from Stampin Up die set. I then added bling and what an adorable card. I know Margaret will love it.
If you know a volunteer, let them know how much you appreciate them this week. Thanks to CardPatterns for providing a wonderful sketch to challenge me with.

Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge
This week over at Tuesday Morning Sketches they have another great sketch challenge.
I decided to try something a little different. I needed to make a little notebook cover and decided to use this sketch.
I used the Back Pocket Basics by Papertrey Ink. I love this stamp set. I also used PTI dies that match the set. So I thought this made a cute little notebook. I hope he receiver of this little gift enjoys it.

Card Patterns Challenge
Happy Easter everyone. I hope you had a wonderful day spent with family and friends. We couldn't of had a nicer day here.
I came home and decided to work on a few cards. I always look for some sketch challenges to inspire me. I found this sketch on Card Patterns.
I wanted to make a card for a co-worker whose birthday is this week. She is a real dog lover so I pulled out my "Delightful Dogs #3" stamp set from Inky Antics and colored it with my copic markers. The designer paper is Stella Rose which is one of my all time favorites. So this is my take on the sketch challenge.

Tuesday Morning Sketches
Over at Tuesday Morning Sketches they have another great sketch challenge. I just loved this particular sketch and have used it to make all my Easter Cards. I used my Hey Chickie stamp set from Cornish Heritage Farms again because I colored a bunch of their images up and now I am putting them to cards.
This is my take on the challenge. I love the easter egg brads to top off the card.
Thanks again to Tuesday Morning Sketches for providing another great challenge.

Sketch Saturday Challenge
I decided I had better get busy and finish up my Easter cards. It is going to be here before you know it. I can't think Easter because it is 87 degrees out and feels like July, not the first of April. This is the sketch that we were to use on Sketch Saturday Challenge.
I used another image from Cornish Heritage Farms "Hey Chickie" set. I love that set. You will see a few more cards using that stamp set. Seems to be my easter set of choice this year. The designer paper I used is Southern Chicken Dumpling Soup by Jilli bean Soup. Love the colors in it.
Now I am off to finish up a few more Easter Cards.
