Goodbye to Two Paper Divas

It is going to be hard to say goodbye to Two Paper Divas.  They are closing their doors Dec 16th.  Gayla and Melissa have been the best people ever to work with.  They have been very generous with their stamps and so supportive of the design team.  I feel that I have grown over the years as a card maker thanks to their support.  Today I wanted to post my favorite cards that I have made for Two Paper Divas and the stamp sets I used that may still be available.

No longer available but I sure loved this set

So you have seen some of my favorite cards I made in 2016.  Most of these are still available to purchase for 2 more days.  Grab them at 50% off while they are still available.

Again thank you to Two Paper Divas for providing so much fun in my card making.  I wish Gayla and Melissa the best in their retirement.  I'm sure we will see them around though because it would be a waste not to be seeing their talents out there somewhere.

Unidentified Image Swap 29

This card was made for the 29th round of the Unidentified Image swap on Splitcoast Stampers.  This image was provided by Kelly.  I just love this adorable image.  I forget the name of the stamp but I do know this adorable bunny is called flopsy.  You might see a few more cards made with this cute image by going to the following blogs.

Two Paper Divas

The time is winding down for your chance to get that stamp you have been wanting at Two Paper Divas.  Their stamps are not all 50% off.  They will be closing their store either the 15th or 16th of December so you have exactly one week to get those stamps you have always wanted.

I love this card because it just gives you the holiday feel with the fireplace, packages and candle on the hearth.  I starting making this card by taking a brick stencil and blocking off parts to make it look like a fireplace.  I then sponged in the area I wanted to show.  Then I took a piece of brown paper and put it across for the mantle.  I then used the stamp set "Holiday Greetings" for the Candle, package with bow, ivy and sentiment.  The fire is from the "On the road Again" stamp set.  I love to think outside the box with stamp sets.  I colored the images with my copic markers and I have a nice holiday card.

So take advantage of their sale.  You can always buy your own Christmas gift.  And what a bargain.

Addicted to CAS

My time is winding down as a Design Team member of Two Paper Divas as they decide to close their doors.  I find myself wondering what challenges I will come up with for myself in 2017.  As I create, I find that I am liking the Clean and Simple look to a card and easy to just drop in the mail.  I have been a follower of Addicted to CAS  for a long time and  I am amazed at the gorgeous cards they come up with.

I have decided to give it a try and came up with this card for their Challenge #102.  The code word for this challenge is congratulations.
For my card I went to Stampin Up's Kinda Electric which I use alot.  It is such a versatile stamp set.
So this is my clean and simple card. I hope you enjoyed it.

Mystery Swap Round 37

I am a little behind the game on this image.  I did get all my cards sent to Melina but forgot to post it on my blog.  Melina chose this image called "Yuletide Greetings" from Close To My Heart.  I found an image that I thought would go perfect with it.  Unfortunately the stamp set was in a clear envelope and I have no idea who is it by.

I colored the image with my copic markers and then tried to find a design that would work. The circle dash day is one of the new ones from Stampin Up.  I think I will be using those often.
Thanks Melina for a great challenge.

Two Paper Divas

I hope you are all taking advantage of the 40% off sale at Two Paper Divas.  They still have alot of my favorite stamps left.  Be sure and check them out.  Today I decided to share a Christmas card I made by going out of my comfort zone.  It goes to show you can take any stamp and make it a Christmas card.
For this card I used the Sweet Notions stamp set and used 4 snowflakes instead of buttons.  I then took the sentiment from Warm Winter Wishes.  I really like the way this card turned out and I plan on making several more because I love the look.  I might even try green ink in place of the black ink.

So check out the sale items.  Get your stamps now while they are still in stock.

Time again for the Dueling Darlings.  The theme this month is Being Thankful.
The image is from McMahon 5 which I hear is no longer in business.  The sentiment is from TLC.  The border die is from Cherryl Lynn.  The paper is DCWV for the Ghosts and Boglins stack card.

Here are what my team mates made using this adorable image.

Freshly Made Sketches

I can't believe I am doing 2 posts in one day but I have had some creative time and playing with some of my favorite stamp sets from Two Paper Divas.  I went to Freshly Made Sketches for my card today for inspiration.
This is the sketch I decided to use for my card.
I decided to turn the sketch around and use "Warm Winter Wishes" stamp set for my card.  I love this stamp set because their are so many different elements to the stamp set.  An extra bonus is that everything in the store is 30% off.  We all love sales so take a look around Two Paper Divas store and grab those stamps that are calling out to you.

Thanks to Freshly Made Sketches for a fun sketch to use.

CAS(E) this Sketch!

I wanted to show a few more stamps sets that are available at Two Paper Divas.  They are having a fantastic sale with 30% off all their stamps in stock.  You should take advantage of the sale.  We all love sales.  I went to CASE(E) this Sketch! for some inspiration in my design.  This week their sketch challenge is #197.

I thought this would be a fun sketch for my card.

For this card I used Bloom Wildly.  It has this cute flower pot and flowers on the set.  Another fun set they have works perfectly with the flower pot is the Bloom Wildly Sentiments.  There are several sentiments on their perfect for different occasions.

Thanks again to CAS(E) this sketch! for some inspiration.

Two Paper Divas

Do you have a friend or loved one who likes to sew?  I made this card for a good friend of mine who loves to sew.

I used this stamp set from Two Paper Divas called "Sew Much Fun".   It has so much cute little sewing stamps on it.  I just love it.  I first laid out all my stamps with my misti to get it just like I want and then I used versamark.  A little tip that I have recently seen is you can stamp double when you are using your misti and versamark.  It gives you a very nice embossing when you are done.  I used white embossing powder and then colored in my stamped images with copic markers.  I love how this made a clean and simple card.

Now is your time to go over to the Two Paper Divas store and get that stamp set that you are wanting to purchase.  Everything in the store will be discounted once you check out. I know they have limited sets in stock but you can purchase this sewing stamp set if you act quickly.

Two Paper Divas

It's Friday and todays cards are all about Clean and Simple.  Two Paper Divas came out with this new set called Splatters and I have been having a blast with it.   I am always looking for ideas on how to use this fun set and in honor of halloween I made these two cards.
For this card I used my zig water color markers and colored the Cat In Pumpkin and you can see how easy it is to add a little washi tape and come up with a cute card.

For this card I found this fun witch die in my collection and added it to the card.

I hope you are taking advantage of the sale over at Two Paper Divas.  Now is the time to grab that stamp set you have been looking at.  Everyone likes a sal.e

Two Paper Divas

I can't believe we are in to mid October already.  Where does the time go?  Today I am posting one of my favorite October release cards.  This card reminds me of my sister Debbi.  She has or has had at one time each of these animals on her farm.
I used a barn die that made all the animals stand out.  I colored each one of the animals with my copic markers and decided there was only one way to get all these animals on one card and that was to do a step card. The stamp is called Farm Friends.

Dueling Darlings

Well it's the 15th and time for our Dueling Darling challenge. I just finished this card in the nick of time.  So sorry for the quality of the picture but taken in the dark of the night.

I apologize to Paola who came up with this fantastic fall challenge because I cannot find where the stamp came from.  All I know is that I had a ball coloring these images with my copic markers and putting the card together.

Here are what my team mates made using this adorable image.

Two Paper Divas

Time again for a new stamp set from Two Paper Divas for the month of October.  Today I am sharing 2 cards that I made using the set called "Zoo Friends".
For my bear card I started by stamping the mountains in the center of the card using the stamp set "Mountains".  I then stamped the mountain image on a piece of masking paper and cutting around the top of the mountains.  I then cut myself a 1 3/4" circle and laid it over the masked moutains and started sponging using "Scattered Straw" distress ink.  I stamped the bear on a piece of paper and colored him with my copic markers.  I fussy cut him out and put him in the scene.  The happy birthday is from "Happy Everything" stamp set.  I just stamped it on a rectangle and made a post out of a piece of 1/2" paper.
For this card I sponged my sun in the center of the card and then stamped my wolf and colored him with my dark gray copic markers.  I then sponged around the whole card using gray ink and then stamped the "Pine Branch" around the edges.

Remember that everything in Two Paper Divas store is 25% off right now.  Grab that stamp you have been wanting now.

Unidentified Image Swap #28

Today I am posting a picture of the fun image selected by Heather for our Unidentified Image Swap in October.  The image today is from Pink Cat Studio called Lilly & Tweet.

I colored the image with my copic markers.  I started with the paper I wanted to use and then got my copics out that would match.  What a fun image this was.  Be sure and check out what everyone else has done on the team.

Two Paper Divas

I can't believe September is behind us and October is here. I do love the chill in the air, the beautiful fall colors and the scents of fall.

This month brings sadness to me because I'm sure you have read Two Paper Divas website and have found out that they will be no longer re-stocking their inventory.  I have loved working with Gayla and Melissa.  They are the nicest people you will ever meet and wonderful to work with.   This month will be the last release for them.

You will also notice that everything in the store is 25% off.  But it is first come so if you have been wanting a certain stamp, act now because they will be selling out their inventory.

I loved this stamp set called "Fern".  I think it is just gorgeous.  I colored the image with my copic markers.

Be sure and check out the Two Paper Divas store and order that stamp you have been wanting. while you still can.

Two Paper Divas

Well September is winding down and here I am with my last card of the month.  for my card today I used the new stamp called "Dasher".
For this card I started with a 4 x 5 1/4" piece of watercolor paper and blended Salty Ocean Distress Ink on the bottom and Scattered Straw for the Center.  Around the edges I blended Cracked Pistachio.  I then stamped around the edges using my "Pine Branch" stamp.  I highlighted each branch using a white marker to make it look like snow on the branches.

I colored my cute little guy with copic markers and then pop dotted him on the center of the card.  The sentiment is from Mason Jar Access #2.

See you next week when I have October Release projects.

Two Paper Divas

It's Friday and you know what that means.  Time for another post from my Two Paper Divas September Release sets.  This week I am going Christmas and decided to make this card.
I first started with watercolor paper and sponged with my distress inks.  I used Salty Ocean, Chipped Sapphire and Seedless Preserves.  I am amazed at how much better the colors blended on the watercolor paper.  Going to have to keep that in mind for future projects.  I then stamped with versamark ink using  the stamp "Oh Holy Night" and used silver embossing powder.  I punched a few stars out to put on the corners to give it a little sparkle.

Hope to see you back next week because I have a cute little fella going to show up on my blog.

Mystery Swap 36

Time again for another Mystery Swap.  This time the image was selected by Darlene.  The image is a retired stamp from Stampin Up.

I colored the image with my copic markers and then use a few circle punches and scalloped circle to outline the card.  I found the sentiment in my Two Paper Divas stash.  I believe the stamp set is now retired.

Thanks to Darlene for a great challenge.

Two Paper Divas

Today I have decided to post another one of my favorite stamp sets from Two Paper Divas in September.  It is called "Afternoon Tea" and I believe it has been a real hot seller.  Boy was I lucky to get one of these stamp sets.
For this card I stamped them on matching designer papers and then fussy cut them out.  These were some tiny pieces to cut out but I really like the look.  The Thank you sentiment is from a stamp set called "A Cup of Kindness".
For this card I decided to go with some vibrant colors using my copic markers.  I then started cutting out dies and decided to use the ticket "A day to celebrate" for the stamp set "Tickets".

I thought it would be fun to show 2 different ways to use the stamp set.  Enjoy your week and join me next Friday because I will be showing Christmas cards for the last 2 Fridays in September.

Two Paper Divas

I hope you have been checking out the new release for September from Two Paper Divas.  I decided to start off the month with my favorite stamp set from them called Cat in Pumpkin.
My first card was made by first stamping the image on water color paper and using my zig watercolors markers to color the image.  Don't you just love the vibrant colors?  I also took a web stencil and sponged some dark gray on the purple paper.  I cut the image out and glued it over the stenciled web design.  The bats were stamped on using the stamp set called Halloween Silhouettes.  The Happy Halloween is from the stamp set Mason Jar Access #2.

This is another project I made using the image without the moon behind it.  I again used the watercolor markers, just not as bring colors.  Toned it down a bit.  I got the idea for this cute little treat box from Splitcoast Stampers.   You make it using the Envelope Punch Board.  It goes really fast and alot of fun to put together.

See you next Friday with another fun project from Two Paper Divas.

Two Paper Divas

Here it is September and I thought I would give a preview of one of the stamps that are going to be released next week for Two Paper Divas
This is one of my favorite stamp sets for September from them.  It is called afternoon tea.  The Celebrate sentiment is from "Tickets" stamp set.  I colored the books with my copic markers and then just started to layout my card.  Be sure and check back this month because I have made another fun card using this set.

Check out Two Paper Divas on Tuesday and Wednesday, September 6 & 7 to see their fantastic September release.

Two Paper Divas

This month sure has flown by.  I can't believe this is the last Friday of the month.  Of course Friday beings a new post from Two Paper Divas.  I saved my favorite stamp set for today.  The stamp I used is called "Who's There" and I just love it.  I liked it so much that I made 2 different cards with the image.

I started with this card and I really like the way it turned out.  I showed it to my husband and he told me there is no blue on an owl.  But I thought it looked "pretty" so that is why I used blue.  I used my zig markers and always fun to see the vibrant colors that show up with those markers.
This was my second card that was a little bit more realistic I guess.  Still fun to color.  I even used one of the bottles from the chemistry stamp set.

I hope you have enjoyed my cards this month as much as I have enjoyed making them.

Two Paper Divas

Another Friday and another post for Two Paper Divas.  Today I made a card using one of the new Two Paper Divas August Stamps called Spell on Me. This week I decided to used water color paper for my base and it is amazing how much better it looks.  I also masked the center flask so the other ones look like they are behind the one in the center.
I hope you enjoyed this card. I really liked the way it turned out.  Check back next week because my theme will be fall and I hope that means cooler weather.

Two Paper Divas

I am so happy it is Friday.  It has been a long week.  Today I am posting a CAS card I made using one of the new Two Paper Divas August Stamps called Spell on Me.  It is endless what you could do with this stamp set.  Next week I will have another card I made with this same set.  I colored these images with my zig water color markers on regular cardstock.  I was just curious how they would color on regular paper.  Well I see why they tell you to use water color paper.

I stamped one of the borders from "All About Borders" to go below the test tubes. Be sure and go to Two Paper Divas Blog to see what the rest of the team has come up with.  Don't forget to check back next week for another creations using the same stamp set.

Unidentifed Image Swap #27

It is time again for a fun image from Lela this month.  The image is called "Purrfect Day" by Penny Black.  The image was stamped in StazOn Jet Black on Georgia Pacific 65lb cardstock.

Since I have 2 yellow kitties of my own I had to color this adorable kitty the same as my ornery 2 cats.  I loved this image.  Be sure and check out the blogs below and see what my friends did with the same image.

Two Paper Divas August Release

Not sure where the summer has gone but July is over and now it is time for the August Release from Two Paper Divas.  Another great release from them.  I used this fun stamp set called "Root Beer Float" to make these cards.  The first one I started with a sheet of tan cardstock as a background and used a bubble embossing powder.  I went over it with some white ink to make the bubbles stand out.  I colored my root beer image with my zig water color markers and cut the image out.  For the foam in the class I used Nuvo Glitter drops which you can't see very well in the picture but it gave the image a nice sparkle.
I thought my first card was a bit drab so I did another one with some color.  Simple but sure makes the image pop.  The sentiment is from another of their August releases.
Be sure and check back next week for some more fun cards for August.

Two Paper Divas

I sure hate to see July end because I have had so much fun with July's release from Two Paper Divas.
For today's card I am going a bit vintage.  I had this cute paper from "Sweet Paris" made by Dovecraft and decided it would make a sweet card.  Of course I had to purchase the buttons and small bows that coordinated with the paper.  I used the stamp Set "Pocket full of..." which I love.  I even decided to add a little ribbon as a tab on the pocket.

I can't believe July is almost over.  Next week I will be previewing the August release from Two Paper Divas which we know will be as fun as July's release.

Two Paper Divas

As promised this week's post is all about vacations.  Summer time is all about vacations and when I saw this adorable camper, it reminded me of all the different campers my parents have had throughout the years.
I had a blast making this card.  I stamped this adorable camper from the set "On the road again" from Two Paper Divas.  I then pieced it together using different pieces of designer paper.  I decided it needed an outline so I scanned it on my brother scan n cut and told it to cut out 1/4" larger than the design on black card stock.  Isn't that fun?  For the background of the camper I used 2 borders (camper and banner at top) from the set "All About Borders 2".

I hope you are checking out all the new stamps released this month from Two Paper Divas.  I know I am loving them.

Mystery Swap #35

Time again for another Mystery Swap.  This time the image was selected by Barb.  The image is "Patriotic Owl" from Whipper Snapper.  I love anything from Whipper Snapper.  The image is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black on Recollections White 110# Cardstock.

I had a blast with this card.  I colored the image with my copic markers and then cut out the image.  I had some star dies so I thought that would be perfect for the background of the image.  The sentiment God Bless America is from Two Paper Divas "Let Freedom Ring" set.

Thanks to Barb for a great challenge.

Creative Crew

This month's theme for our Creative Crew group comes from Terry and her theme is Thanks Snow Much.  What a fun theme but I hope this do...
