Two Paper Divas

You are not going to believe my card today.  One of the releases this month from Two Paper Divas is a halloween set called Wicked Wear Accessories.  It goes along perfectly with the Wanna Hang Out stamp set.
This is just a fun card to make.  The skeleton was part of the design paper.  I then added the cute little images from the Wicked Wear set that I colored with my copic markers.  The Happy Halloween sentiment is from the Mason Jars Access #2 set.

It is only 4 months until Halloween.  Start your cards now and you will have them ready.  Always fun to get a jump start on holiday cards.

Two Paper Divas

Time again for another post for Two Paper Divas.  This week I decided to make another card using the new Hooters stamp.  I don't make anniversary cards very often but I just think this is the perfect image for anniversary with those 2 cute owls.  The Happy Anniversary sentiment is from the Everyday Sentiment stamp set that is my go to stamp when I need just the right sentiment.

Be sure and check out the other great releases this month for Two Paper Divas.

Stained Glass Look

I am really in to trying different techniques right now.  There are so many fun things to try.  Maybe a new technique once a week would be fun.

Today's technique is called Stained Glass.  I first saw a video by Shelly Godby (Stamping Smiles).  Basically I stamped the front of the vellum with black embossing powder and Versamark Ink.  I then colored the back of the flowers with my Stampin Up Markers. Give this technique a try.  It sure is fun and easy.
The flower stamp is from Stampin Up called Bloom with Hope.  The designer paper is Howdy Doody from My Mind's Eye.  I couldn't decide what to do with the image after I played with it so I went to Sketch Saturday and found this great sketch.  Worked perfect in to my card.

Two Paper Divas

I am loving the stamps that Two Paper Divas has released in June.  I am having such fun with these Stamps.

If I had to pick a favorite this month it would have to be "Catch Me If You Can".  Of course I always love anything that can be put in a jar.
For this card I found some paper that already had the clouds and kites in it.  Wish I could remember the name of the paper because I really like it and it works so well with my outdoor cards.   I used 3 different stamp sets for this card.  The butterfly came from the "Mason Jars Access #1" set, the jar is the small jar set from the Mason Jar stamp set, and of course the ladybugs and caterpillar are from the Catch Me If You Can Set.

So check out all the new stamp sets from Two Paper Divas.  They are just adorable.

I decided to enter this card in the Crafty Gals Corner challenge because it is all about the Great Outdoors which is this card for sure.

Sketch Saturday

I had to put away my watercolors for a while.  I was having way too much fun with them.  The projects are endless with the whole watercolor concept.

Today I picked out a floral design that I had been wanting to make in to a card.  I love going to Sketch Saturday for inspiration.  Below is their sketch for this week.
It is always so much fun to see what people do with these sketch challenges.  Below is my take on the challenge.
Thanks for stopping by.  Check back Friday because I have more fun with my Two Paper Diva Stamps for June.

Jo's Scrap Shack Challenge

I was sent this adorable bear to make in to a card and once I colored him, I thought now what?
I went to Jo's Scrap Shack and found this sketch challenge
I really like how this card turned out.  These bright colors just remind me of ice cream so soft and smooth.

Pretty Pink Posh Watercolor Blog Hop

I hope you have been following along with Pretty Pink Posh Watercolor Blog Hop and seeing some of the beautiful watercolor creations.  I know I sure have enjoyed each and every card.
Today I am featuring my last entry in her watercolor challenge.
For this card I speckled the background and used the mint green ivy die.  I then used my zig clear brush watercolor markers for this beautiful image.  I just love the look on this card.

Pretty Pink Posh Blog Hop

As promised I have done 3 cards using 3 different watercolor techniques.  Seeing all the beautiful cards made on the Pretty Pink Posh Watercolor blog hop has truly inspired me.

I am definitely obsessed with the whole watercolor concept.  I couldn't decide which technique I liked the best so I thought I would try them all and do a comparison.  I stamped all 3 images using the Corner Garden Stamp from Stampin Up and black Versafine ink.  I then used a clear embossing powder to give each image some depth.
The card above I used my Distress Inks.  I stamped my pad on an acrylic sheet and then misted it with water.
This card I used my Zig Clear Watercolor Markers.  I love how fast the card went together using these markers.  I am finding that I need a few more colors.  I really like how you can blend and give these colors a different look.
This card was made using the Peerless Watercolor papers.  I am always amazed at how rich the colors come out when I use them.

I feel each card has it's advantages.  I love the vibrant colors of the Peerless Watercolor papers but love the use of the Watercolor Markers.

So you decide which you like the best.

Pretty Pink Posh Watercolor Blog Hop

I am one of those people who love to try new things in the crafting world.  One of my new favorites is the zig clear brush watercolor pens.  The look they produce is fantastic and they are so easy to use.

So went I noticed that Pretty Pink Posh was doing a watercolor blog hop I decided to join in.  I think watercolor is all the rage right now and I am loving it.
I thought it is never too early to start on my Christmas cards so I found this adorable holly stamp that I had bought at a recent garage sale.  There was no name on it so I'm not sure who makes it but I sure do like it.  I used the yellow and green on the leaves and the red zig marker on the berries.  I first stamped the image with black versafine ink and then embossed it with clear embossing powder.  It gives it a raised look and easy to color after that.  I also took a little gray and shaded the white between the leaves.

I also decided to enter this in Craftyhazelnut's Christmas challenge.

One of these days I want to sit down and do a comparision of some of my favorite techniques.

Two Paper Divas

Well I am definitely a little late in posting my Two Paper Diva card for the month.  The day has just gotten away from me.  Why is there never enough time?

Today's card I used Two Paper Divas new stamp called Hooters.  I love these owls and think it makes an adorable anniversary card.  I colored the images in with my copic markers and then used a circle die to cut it out.

Be sure and check back next week because I will be posting my favorite card of the month for Two Paper Divas.

Creative Crew

This month's theme for our Creative Crew group comes from Terry and her theme is Thanks Snow Much.  What a fun theme but I hope this do...
