Thought I would post some wonderful halloween projects. I can't take credit for these wonderful projects but I wanted everyone to see these. The pumpkin above was one of the projects we did in the evening when I was at CKC. My friends Vannessa brought this project.
My friends Vannessa and Cass did this can and cute bag for me for halloween. Aren't they just adorable? Hopefully later today I will have more halloween cards.
My camera died and I am charging up the battery.

Heartfelt Creations Card Class
These 4 cards we made in the Heartfelt Creations Classic card class. It was a fast paced class and I had to do a little fine tuning at home but love the look of these cards. You use their die cut and stamps which is why it was my favorite booth at CKC.
I ended up buying this window and stamp set because I thought it would make gorgeous Christmas cards. I sure hope I get some done.
My sister bought the dies to cut out the scrolls and I bought the flowers so we should be able to make some next cards.
You must check out Heartfelt Creations website and see all the wonderful sets of dies and flowers that they have.

CKC Convention Basic Grey Class
This was one of the first classes I took at the CKC Convention. It was the latest and best from Basic Grey. I got some wonderful free products but as you can see by this mess - I got nothing made. You were to make 2 scrapbook pages in class and since I don't really do scrapbooks, I cut and played with the paper during class. I hope to get some inspiration and finish a couple cards using these products.
Tomorrow check back and you will see my favorite class and 4 cards that I actually completed.

Prickley Pear October Sketch Challenge
Before I get in to all my great projects that I made at the CKC convention, I thought I would post a card I made using a Prickley Pear Stamp Set and Die that I absolutely love. Their October sketch challenge seemed perfect for this time of year. The cardinal set is my favorite one right now.
I used Cherry Cobbler, Marina Mist cardstock from Stampin Up, Frostwood Lodge designer paper from Stampin Up and the snowflake embossing folder. The leaves were a Martha Stewart punch. I may just get all my Christmas cards made early this year.
If you haven't visited Prickley Pear, you must do it because their dies and matching stamps are just amazing.

CKC Convention in KC
Just got back from the CKC Scrapbook Convention in Kansas City. We had a great time. This was the car load I went up with. Myself (On left), my sister in the middle and our friend Mary on the left. My sister got us all these great aprons with appliqued irises on them. What a beautiful weekend we had. The weather was gorgeous and we learned alot and found new toys to play with that you will be seeing throughout the week.
This is one of these classes we attended. I took 6 classes in 2 days and I was exhausted when we came home.
We didn't even take the time to go out to eat on Friday. We tailgated for lunch with yummy ham salad sandwiches and fixins to go with them. Perfect day to tailgate. I think we could of sold lunches to people coming and going and pay for some of our purchases.
This was my favorite booth "Heartfelt Creations". We attended 2 of their classes that we just loved. They have dies and stamps to match which is always something I enjoy.
We went to our hotel in the evening and made more projects. At least I will have something to post all week. Thanks to all my friends for a wonderful time.

Thank You card
This is a thank you card that I made. The background is from the Stampin Up Circle Circus set that I just love. It makes such a great background.
I will be MIA for a couple of days, off to the CKC Convention in KC. Can't wait, going to be lots of fun. I am signed up for 6 classes if you can believe it. I will come back next week with some of my projects. I hope to be inspired and hope to come home with some new toys that I find at the Convention.

October Image Card
This card was the October Image Challenge. This is a retired Stampin Up stamp which is really cute. Makes me think of the farming days of my childhood. I love the fall theme on this card. I used my Prismacolor pencils with the gamisol. I found some paper leaves that looked perfect for this card. I also used a Martha Stewart punch on the small red leaves. The sentiment is from the basket set from Papertrey Ink.
Be sure and check out all the other cards here to see what everyone else came up with.

Christmas Card
I decided to get a little jump on my Christmas Cards. This image is a new set from Stamp Up called Beautiful Season. I just love the image. The embossing is the Stampin Up Framed Tulips folder. It doesn't show up but I covered all my berries with stickles to make them pop. I colored the images in with copic markers. 1 card down and about 50 more to do. I had better get busy.

Happy Birthday Janet
I made this birthday card for my good friend Janet. We have been friends since high school. One of the best things that I came away from in High School was some fantastic friends. I love the saying on this card "Just think, with every birthday you're even closer to being more like your parents". It has been a standing joke with us that we are going to be just like our parents.
I found this image in my bag of stamped images. Not sure what it is called but I loved the humor.
Happy Birthday Janet!

Corrosive Challenge #134
I came across the challenge at Corrosive Challenge Blog and thought I would make up my purple coneflower card that I just finished coloring with my copic markers. You were to use another color and mine was green. What a colorful card this turned out to be. Definitely out of my color comfort zone. HA!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #113
I am just loving the fall weather and it has inspired me to do the challenge over at Tuesday Morning Sketches. I received this wonderful package in the mail from my Secret Sister in a swap I am in on SCS. She sent me the stamped image (so can't tell you the name of it), the beautiful green ribbon and the designer paper that is Autumn Abundance from Paper Trey Ink. I used the basket weave embossing folder for the gold background and a leaf embossing folder from Cuttlebug for the orange background.
I was able to use some of the techniques that I learned from Suzanne Dean's copics class. I feel like I am in grade school again with my crayons. I always loved that and must be why I love to play with the copic markers.
Thanks to Tuesday Morning Sketches for giving me some inspiration.
