You all know that I am a huge fan of Newton's Nook Designs. I decided to do something a little different for my project today. I noticed on the Inky Paws Challenge #56 that they were having a color challenge.
I love playing along with these challenges because it gives me a chance to use my adorable stamps.
I am getting ready to go on a retreat and wanted to make gift bags for everyone. I used the stamp set Boo Crew and colored the images. I cut a piece of halloween paper into a 4 1/2" square. I folded it in half and cut a window out for the handle and added ribbon. I then adhered a few embellishments along with the colored image.
So now I only have 54 more treat bags to make.
Thanks for stopping by to see my post for the day.

Challenge Your Stash
Since today is the 28th, it means that it is time for "Challenge Your Stash". Today's challenge was from Terry. Her challenge was to use Washi tape. Well that was not a problem for me because I have a real weakness for washi tape when I see it in the store. I don't use it very often but I always enjoy looking at it.
I went to my halloween stash and used the coordinating tapes for my background. I am not exactly sure where the stamp came from because a friend just handed me the image and asked me to color it and make it in to a card. So here is my fun card for Terry's challenge.

Prickley Pear Kitty and Holly
Today I am posting a card made from the new release this month from Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps. It was my favorite stamp from this set. The stamp is called Kitty and Holly.
I think this card reminds me of my two orange tabbies and the trouble they get in to with all the Christmas decorations when they are out. Cats seem to be so curious about everything. Bring out a box and they are there.
I stamped the image on Neenah Classic Crest Paper with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I then colored it with my copic markers. I used red stickles on the berries to give it a little sparkle and green on the holly to have it shine. The sentiment is also from the new release set called Welcome Christmas.
I know I will be making several more of these cards because I love the image. Be sure and check out the Prickley Pear Blog to see what the other design team members designed this week.
I decided to enter in the following challenge:

MFT Innovation Master Superstar
Since there were 3 different categories in the superstar contest, I thought I might as well try all 3. I
decided to
enter this card in the 2017 Card Design Superstar contest. The 3rd category was Innovation Master which means an interactive card of some kind.
For my card today I started with the cute little stamp set called Fierce Friends.
I had seen this tutorial online about a folded card and have been wanting to try it for a long time. So I started with an 8 x 8" piece of brown cardstock and first scored 2" all the way around. Once you see the inside you will see where else I scored. I then cut out 12 pieces of 1 3/4" x 1 3/4" pieces of vanilla cardstock and stamped away with different stamps for the Fierce Friend Stamp set. This is what the inside looked like.
This was such a fun card to make and will continue to make more.
Thanks for stopping by to see my card and thanks also to My Favorite Things for having this wonderful contest.

Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop
I am on a roll making cards for the Fall Coffee Lovers Bloghop. Such a great bloghop and I am having so much fun bringing out my coffee stamps.
For this card I took a piece of 4" x 5 1/4" watercolor cardstock and
stamped the dry embossed the Lawn Fawn leaves and then used watercolor crayons to color in the images. I then stamped a coffee cup stamp from
Papertrey Ink. The sentiment is also from the Papertrey Ink Set.

Mystery Image #42
I am a day late in posting my card for our challenge this month. Gosh, where does the time go?
The image was selected by LJ this month and it is from the Stampin Up Countryside set. I colored the image with my copic markers and developed my card.
Thanks LJ for a great challenge.

Prickley Pear Wheelbarrow Full of Pumpkins
Hello on this gorgeous fall like day. Since today is Tuesday it is time for a post using Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps. The leaves are just starting to turn here in Kansas and it is getting to be pumpkin time around here. Have you noticed all the pumpkin flavored drinks available now?
For my card today I used the fun stamp set called Wheelbarrow Full of Pumpkins and Golden Pumpkin. I stamped these images on Neenah Classic Craft paper and then colored them with my copic markers. I then added a few embellishments.
Be sure and check out the Prickley Pear blog and see what some of the other design team members created.

Coloring Virtuoso MFT Card
One of my favorite things to do is to color with my zig watercolor markers. Coloring always brings me such peace and reminds me of my childhood where I could just sit for hours with my crayons and color. I decided to
enter this card in the 2017 Card Design Superstar contest. They have 3 categories and this card was for the Coloring Virtuoso Category.
I seem to always go for my favorite stamp set from My Favorite Things called Funky Flowers.
I
first stamped several of the flowers on a piece of 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" watercolor paper. I also stamped the leaves and large flower on a piece of watercolor paper. I then colored all the images with my zig watercolor markers (flowers - peach pink and yellow, leaves - mid green). I then fussy cut the large flower and leaf bunches out. I then cut a piece of pink cardstock at a diagonal to give it a different look. For the sentiment, I used the Celebrate Your Special Day from LJD Birthday Greetings stamp set.
Thanks for stopping by to see my card and thanks also to My Favorite Things for having this wonderful contest.

Clean and Simple Funky Flowers
I have always been a fan of Clean and Simple cards. I guess because the focus is directly on the object you have colored. I decided to enter this card in the 2017 Card Design Superstar contest. They have 3 categories and this card was for the Clean & Simple Genius category.
For my card I pulled out one of my all time favorite floral sets from My Favorite Things called Funky Flowers.
I colored the flower with my copic markers (V17, V15 & V12). I then colored the leaves with my copic markers (YG17, YG13, YG11). I outlined the flower and leaves with BG000 copic marker. I then decided to use my Kind Thanks stamp for the sentiment. I used my corner punch to cut each bottom corner and then put a navy gem in the center. I also to a white pen to highlight the enter circle.
I loved how this card turned out and I love using my Funky flowers set. Thanks so much for stopping by my blog.

Fall Coffee Lovers Bloghop
Fall is my favorite time of year with the beautiful colors of the leaves, the fresh smell of fall and those delicious pumpkin flavored drinks. How can you not love it. I decided to make a card in honor of the Fall Coffee Lovers Bloghop.
I recently had purchased this die set from Cottage Cutz called Build-A-Grapevine Wreath and decided I wanted to use it for the background. I cut all the pieces out in various colors of card stock and started building my wreath. I adhered this to a piece of designer paper from Echo Park The Story of Fall. I then stamped out a coffee cup from the Prickley Pear Coffee Cup Clear Set. I then took a piece of 1/2" vanilla cardstock and stamped blessings which is from a Paper Trey Ink set I had. So a real combination of alot of different stamps but I loved the way it turned out.

Inky Paws Challenge #55
I have found that I am loving stamps by Newton's Nook Designs. I decided to make another card using their sketch challenge this week.
I have always liked the challenge of a sketch challenge because everyone has such different concepts from the sketch. Be sure and check out the bi-weekly Inky Paws Challenge.
For my card I used the stamp set called Chicken Scratches. I have always loved this set and decided to pull it out and use it. I stamped the chicken wire from the set on the background of the circle with gray ink. I stamped the chickens on a separate piece of paper and fussy cut them out and placed them in front of the chicken wire after coloring them with my copic markers. I also stamped the grass and the chicken feet at the bottom of the circle.
So thanks for stopping by and check out some of the adorable stamps at Newton's Nook Designs.

PIP Challenge #1737
PIP Challenge 1737
Sponsored by Fred She Said
It's Monday and time for another challenge over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies Blog. I can never have enough Christmas cards when it is time to mail them so I was thrilled to make another Christmas card using an image from Fred She Said. I used the image "Nuthatch Digi" for my card and I have to say this is one of my favorite images. Of course I love birds of all kinds at this little guy was no exception.
What I love about the digital images is that you can size them any way you want them. So after printing this off I colored the image with my copic markers and then cut it out with a circle die. I used the scalloped circle for the black to bring out the colors in the image.
Thanks to Fred she Said for sponsoring us this week.

Inky Paws Challenge
I recently have come across a stamp company that I absolutely love. It is Newton's Nook Designs. Could it be because of the orange cat on their labeling? Not sure but I do love their stamps. I had recently purchased "Newton's Curious Christmas" and decided to have some fun with this stamp set.
I stamped out the cat and snow man and started coloring with my copic markers. I then cut it out with an oval die and added the No Peeking sentiment.
I noticed that there is a bi-weekly Inky Paws Challenge. The theme this week is to use polka dots. You will see several in my design papers which is Comfort and Joy from My Mind's Eye.

Crafters of Faith
Today I am showing you a card I made for a challenge on Splitcoast Stampers. I am in a group called Crafters of Faith and each month someone selects a theme. Judy selected the theme this month. She selected Ephesians 2:8-10 for her inspiration. "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so no one can boast. For we our God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do". Judy wanted us to create a card celebrating a birth or another great gift God has bestowed on us.
I decided to use grateful as my theme because I am forever grateful for every gift God bestows on me every day.
I embossed the Stampin Up vintage leaf with god embossing powder on clear acetate. I then used distress inks to show colors through the acetate. I wish I would of had a stamp that wasn't so full so you could actually see the colors. The grateful was a Technique Tuesday die I had and I used the gold embossing powder on it also.
Thanks Judy for a great challenge.

Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps September Release Day 3
Well today is the third and last day of posts from the new release stamps from Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps. But you still will be seeing creations throughout the month I have made. Today I am back to halloween. Halloween to me was all about the candy. Yes I have a big sweet tooth.
I started this card with a 4 x 5 1/4" piece of white cardstock. I then sponged purple and gray ink lightly over the stamp. I stamped the Witch with Cauldron and colored it with my copic markers. I did the same with the Bat in the Moon stamp. I then cut out the Spiderweb Gate Die and adhered it to the side of my card. The sentiment is from the Halloween Banner Set. What a fun card to make. I love creating backgrounds for my spooky cards.
This was another fun Halloween card to make. I started by stamping the Skeleton ATC on the orange background piece. I then stamped Frank on a piece of copic friendly paper and colored with with my copic markers. Doesn't he look spooky? HA! The sentiment is from the Halloween Banner Set which I find myself using alot just for the sentiments. But I love the banners also.
Be sure and check out the Prickley Pear Blog and see what the other design team members created with this new release. I will be back tomorrow with more fun cards that I have made with the new release stamps.

Prickley Pear has another fun Clear Stamp set called Tea Set. I am always amazed at how many different stamps you get in a set. I colored the imaged with my copic markers and then fussy cut them out and put in 1 1/4 " squares of designer paper.

Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps New Release
I couldn't be more excited today because I get to post pictures of a couple of cards I have made with the new release from Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps. They really knocked it out of the park with this release. If you are a fan of Halloween and Christmas stamps, this is the release for you.
You all know I am a cat lover so of course the cards I am showing today have different cat images that can be used many ways. The card above I used the stamps Scratch the Cat, Cat on Limb, and Allie the Cat. The sentiment is from the Halloween Banner Set. I colored all the cats with copic markers and then cut them in to squares and used a scalloped square to highlight the cats.
Because I loved each and every stamp that was sent to me this release, I decided to show another card I made. The card uses the Bat Kitty and the Halloween Banner Set. I started with a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of gold paper and then stamped the BOO and the cat face all over the background from the Halloween Banner Set. I then stamped the cat banner and cut a strip of black paper to match for the bottom of the card. I then used the Flourish Oval Nesting Die with black cardstock for the outline of the image. I used the scallop oval nesting die to cut the image out. The image with colored with my copic markers.
