Crafters of Faith

I can't believe it is already January 8.  I was going to do better with posting on my blog this year but I don't seem to be getting a very good start.

I recently joined a group of gals on Splitcoast Stampers led by my friend Kelly  who has always been an inspiration to me. We call this group Crafters of Faith with a mission to create a group for faith based friends to chat and craft together with supplies we have already on hand - adding in the twist of using scripture!

I decided to take the month of January to come up with a theme.   Every day I am thankful for my friends who share my passion of cardmaking and scrapbooking so I chose Proverbs 27:9 - "A sweet friendship refreshed the soul".  I have met some wonderful people through Splitcoast Stampers and can't wait to see what this group comes up with.
For my card I went with the Stamp Set Flower Patch.  I stamped the green first with Olive Green.  I then stamped the flowers out using Blushing Bride, Strawberry Slush, Pool Party and Lost Lagoon.  I used the matching die set "Flower Fair Framelets Dies" to get the flowers out.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to post more in the future.
