Boy has it been a while since I have posted on my blog.  I went on a fun little trip with my sister and a friend and I am still trying to get back in the groove.  My creative mojo left me for a while but it has to come back because I have graduation cards, mother's day cards, birthday cards to make.  This is going to be a busy week for me.

Today I am posting a little gift that I made for all the special nurses that I work with.  I truly admire all the nurses that I work with and have come to know.  I have worked with nurses for 25 years and know that they are some of the hardest working people that you will ever find.  I found this pattern for a Two Pocket Treat Holder over at Angie Juda's Blog.  It worked perfect for this project.  The digital image is called "Nurse Betty" from Pink Cat Studio.  I downloaded the image and colored it with my copic markers.  I did Happy Nurses Day on my computer and cut out the sentiment.  On the back I used a heart die and the saying "Nurses are the Heart of Healthcare" that I typed on my computer.  I filled each package with Ghirardelli Chocolate squares in the front and a Good Earth Sweet & Spicy Tea which is my favorite tea of all times.

So this is my project for today and I want to wish all the nurses I know a very Happy Nurses Week and hope you enjoy your special week.

  1. That little nurse is SOOO cute! And the envelopes you made to hold the chocolate are really awesome. I'm holding a nurse's appreciation luncheon next week and I'm thinking this would be a great favor!
