Happy 50 BD Card

I made this card for a friend who is turning 50 at work this week. I stamped 50 all over the top with the versamark and then used a clear emboss. I then used the cuttlebug folder for the bottom part of the card. Added ribbon and scalloped punch paper for trim. This was a fun and easy card to make.

Jelly Roll Quilt

This is the beginning of a jelly roll quilt that I am working on. Strips of coordinating fabric come rolled up in a roll. I then cut them in strips, squares or triangles to make a quilt. Going to be putting them together today. I will post later what it looks like all put together.

Blog Hop

Well I don't have any pictures to post today but wanted to let everyone know that I am working behind the scenes for a blog hop coming up at the end of this month. You will be able to go to several other wonderful blogs from my blog. I'm sure there will be great ideas and inspiration for all. So I'm off to work on a few more creative items. Stay tuned.....

Black & White Card

I found some silver doilies on clearance at Walmart and decided I had to use them. I also had some embossing powder that was crying out to be used. So with my circle cutter and my SU die cuts, I made this simple Happy Birthday card.

Coffee Can

I decorated this coffee can using my new toys from Papertrey Ink. I used the teapot diecut, matching cup diecut, label on top diecut and then all the matching stamps from papertrey ink. I am going to fill the container with an instant Chai Tea Mix. I will post the recipe for it tomorrow.

Note pad

Well I think I am finally getting my creative juices going again. I bought some new toys and used some of them to make this notepad cover for a SCS swap. Cricut has some new cartridges at Walmart for $39 and bought one called Lacy Labels which I used to make the labels on this. Then I bought a button diecut from SU and used it to make the fake buttons.

Creative Crew

This month's theme for our Creative Crew group comes from Terry and her theme is Thanks Snow Much.  What a fun theme but I hope this do...
