PIP Challenge #1939

This week over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies we are sponsored by Dis Digi Images.
You should really check out their store for some adorable digital images.  The fuller my closet gets, the more I appreciate digital images.  So easy to store!!!

We are also doing a color challenge this month.  Below is the color inspiration we were to use.

                                                         Related image
For my card I decided to use my Distress oxides (Spun sugar, Victorian Velvet, Broken China, Peacock Feathers and Chipped Sapphire) for my background on my card.
I then stamped out Peony Blooms by Newtons Nook and colored it with my copic markers to match the background.  The sentiment is from Gina K Wreath Builder.

Be sure and check out the other design team members to see what they have come up with at Pammie's Inky Pinkies.

Challenge your stash

Today is reveal day for our "Challenge Your Stash" group at Splitcoaststampers.  Our hostess this month is Suzy and she challenged us to make a get well card or thinking of you card.

I decided to make this simple get well card.  I used a butterfly die and cut it out with white card stock.  I then colored it with my distress oxides.  The black butterfly frame was glued over the butterfly.  I punched a hole on the top part of my card base for the butterfly to slip through.  I then glued the center of the butterfly down on the inside of the card.  The butterfly slips through when you open the card.

Thanks for stopping by.

Keepsake for The Project Bin

My card today for The Project Bin is really clean and simple.
I used the stamp set "Keepsake" that is on special this month at The Project Bin.  It has the sweetest sentiment.  I just took a fun piece of designer paper and stamped the sentiment on.  I added a few gems and twine and what a nice card it turned out to be.

You only have a couple of days to take advantage of the September special at The Project Bin which is if you spend $65 you will receive the Keepsake stamp for free.

Pumpkin Spice for The Project Bin

My card today for The Project Bin again uses the Pumpkin Spice stamp set.  It doesn't quite feel like fall here with all the warm weather but I am sure it is right around the corner.
I stamped the pumpkins on white cardstock with pumpkin pie stampin up ink and then fussy cut them out.  I also stamped the sentiment and used an oval diecut.  Simple card but definitely fallish.

For the month of September at The Project Bin  if you order $65 of merchandise, you will receive the Keepsake stamp set for free.

PIP Challenge #1937

Time for another challenge from Pammie's Inky Pinkies.  Challenge #1937 is being sponsored by Polkadoodles.
For my card today I was able to use an adorable image from Polkadoodles.  For the first time I even printed off their designer paper.  What fun.
I printed off the paper first and then cut it to fit my layout.  I colored the image with my copic markers.  Thanks for polkadoodles for sponsoring our challenge this week.

Dueling Darlings

Time for our duel from the Dueling Darlings on Splitcoaststampers.  This month our hostesses are Judy & Donna.  Donna sent us a wonderful challenge which was to celebrate Baby Safety month so it's all about babies this month.
The image used for my card today is called Wee Tees by Gina K Designs.  Unfortunately it is a retired set but it is just adorable.  I colored the cute little onesie with my copic markers.  The designer paper is from Paper Studio.  The embellishments are also by the Paper Studio.

What a fun thing to celebrate this month.  Thanks Donna and Judy for a great challenge.

The Project Bin

I can't believe September is here which means fall is right around the corner with beautiful colors in our landscape and Pumpkin spice lattes.  So for my card this week for The Project Bin I used one of their fun fall stamp sets appropriately called "Pumpkin Spice".
I took the pumpkin stamp and inked it up with pumpkin colored ink and then took a dauber to the wet stamp with a terra cotta color to give it a shaded look.  I then stamped the pumpkin several placed throughout my base.

Surely this card will get you in the fall mood.

Remember if you order $65 worth of merchandise from The Project Bin this month you will receive the Keepsake stamp set for free.

Crafters of Faith

Today is the 7th of September which means time for our Crafters of Faith challenge on Splitcoaststampers.  Our host this month is Jeanette.  The scripture Jeanette chose was John 1:3 "All things were created through him, and apart from him not one thing was created that has been created.  Jeanette's challenge was to include something on our card that we are thankful that God created.

I am thankful for the beautiful landscapes that God provides which includes all the gorgeous flowers you see around.  I know fall is around the corner and we have beautiful fall colors to look forward to.  This is a watercolor card that I used Altenew watercolors on.  Great challenge Jeanette.

PIP Challenge #1935

This weeks challenge (#1935) over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies is being sponsored by Gerda Steiner Designs.
For my card today I am using the Racoon Digital Stamp from Gerda Steiner Designs.
I printed off the digital image and colored it with my copic markers.  What I loved about this particular stamp was that you could add any sentiment on the racoon's board.

Be sure and check out the rest of the designs team on Pammie's Inky Pinkies and see what they did with this adorable digital image.

Creative Crew

This month's theme for our Creative Crew group comes from Terry and her theme is Thanks Snow Much.  What a fun theme but I hope this do...
