SCS CYS and The Project Bin

Today's card is a double challenge.  Wednesday is my day for posting for The Project Bin and the 28th is when we have a challenge on Splitcoaststampers in our Create from your Stash group.  Kelly was our hostess this month for the SCS challenge and she challenged us to use a stencil in our creation.
For my card I used "Birthday Girl" by The Project Bin.  I stenciled the background using a Taylored Expression Splash stencil.  I used 3 different colors of distress oxide ink.  (Cracked Pistachio, Broken China and Mermaid Lagoon).

I love how a stenciled background can make such a beautiful piece of paper.

Remember that if you order $80 of merchandise over at The Project Bin in August you will receive The Cool Ghoul stamp and die set free.

PIP Challenge #1933

Today for Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenge #1933 we are being sponsored by the wonderful Bugaboo Stamps.  They are one of the most popular digital stamp companies around.  They always have such personality and I had a great time with my image this week.  I used Floral Wreath #01.
I colored this fun image with my copic markers and added a black strip in the center of the wreath after stamping Happy Birthday with versamark and using white embossing powder.

I hope you join us this week for the challenge over at PIP Challenges.  It is always anything goes.

Dueling Darlings

Well I decided I would have 2 posts today because we always post our cards for our Dueling Darlings on the 15th.
Jeanette and Kelly were our hostesses this month.  The image is by Taylored Expressions called Adventure Land.  It was so fun to color.

Thanks Jeanette for a great challenge.

Imagine That Digital Stamps has a challenge the whole month of August.  Today I have another card I made for being one of the Customer standouts.

For my card today I used the digital stamp "Turtle and Butterfly".
I had so much fun coloring the fun image with my copic markers.  It was fun doing layers for this card.  Both the sentiment and the image comes with the digital stamp set.

Be sure and check out Imagine That Digital Stamps and see what beautiful stamps they have.

The Project Bin

I have another fun card this week for The Project Bin using the stamp set "Milky Way"
I love doing a distress ink background.  I  used several colors until I got it the darkness I liked.  I colored the adorable martians with my copic markers and used the matching die to cut them out.  The stars are stamped with versamark and then I used white embossing powder. I also used white embossing powder on the sentiment.  This stamp set just has the most adorable sentiments with it.

The Project Bin & Crafters of Faith

Today is a two for card.  I always submit a card or project for The Project Bin on Wednesdays and the Crafters of Faith group I am in with Splitcoaststampers falls on the 7th of each month.  Jen is our hostess this month for the Crafters of Faith group and she chose Revelation 21:2-3 for her scripture this month.  ("I also saw the holy city, a new Jerusalem, *coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.  I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, Behold, God's dwelling is with the human race.  He will dwell with them and they will be his people and God himself will always be with them as their God.")  Jen challenged us to use a city scape of landscape in our card.

I used the stamp set "Milky Way" from The Project Bin for my card.  I started out by sponging 3 different colors of distress ink on the background of my card.  From the stamp set I used the stars and white embossing powder.  I colored the image with copic markers and used the matching die to cut it out.  The city scape is a die I used from Sizzix.  I also used white embossing powder for the sentiment.  I cut a piece of yellow cardstock for a little light coming from the flying saucer.

Thanks Jen for a great challenge this month.

PIP Challenge #1931

I have another fun project I made for Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenge.  This week is sponsored by The Cutting Cafe.

For today's project I was able to use the 3D shadow card
But you have to see the inside of the card which made it so fun.  Everything is included with the template.
I just printed off the template on some designer paper I had and made this adorable shaker card.  Thanks to The Cutting Cafe for sponsoring us this week.

ITD Creative Playground

I was so lucky that my penguin floating card won a "Customer Standout" award on Imagine That Digstamp Challenge in July.

It was such an honor winning this award.  Kris asked me if I would like to have a Guest spot on the August challenge and I said of course because I love working with Imagine That Digital Stamps.  They are adorable and so fun to color.

I was able to select my imagine of choice so of course I chose a flower.  I chose the Primrose stamp and actually learned how to layer digital stamps.
I printed off the image on my computer and then colored it with my copic markers.  I just love how it turned out.  Thanks so much to Kris for this honor and be sure and check out some of there adorable digital stamps.

Creative Crew

This month's theme for our Creative Crew group comes from Terry and her theme is Thanks Snow Much.  What a fun theme but I hope this do...
