Challenge Your Stash

My card today is for our Challenge your Stash group at Splitcoaststampers.  Maggie was our hostess this month and she challenged us to celebrate the start of summer and make a card with yellow and sunshine.
I pulled out a stamp set from Stampin Up (Petal Palette) that I had not ever used and decided it would be perfect for this card.  I started by sponging the sunrays on the background using Fossilized Amber & Squeezed Lemonade distress oxides.  I then colored my roses with my copic markers.  I punched out a butterfly and colored them with my distress oxides.  The sentiment is from Penny Black "Sprinkles and Smiles".

Thanks Maggie for a great challenge.

The Project Bin

This month I have been featuring the stamp set "Red, White & Boom" from The Project Bin.  You can receive this stamp set free over at The Project Bin this month with a $75 order.
I love the fireworks stamp in this set.  I stamped it in Red and blue on this card and then stamped the sentiment "Happy Independence Day" in the center of the card.  I added a little sparkle by gluing the blue & red stars in the center of the fireworks.

A simple card but perfect for the 4th of July.

PIP Challenge #1925

Today for Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenge #1925 we have a new sponsor called "The Cutting Cafe".  It is such a fun store.  I sure hope you check it out.

For my project today, I am using the "Gift Enclosure card Box Template set" from The Cutting Cafe.  This is the perfect box for those little note cards you like to add to packages.
The pattern is so easy to put together.  I just used some scraps of paper I had to make this adorable little box.

Inky Paws Challenge

My fourth and final card for the Inky Paws Challenge is to make something using my favorite Newtons Nook product.  Well I love the deer images that they had designed so I chose to use the "Deer Friend" stamp set as my favorite product.
I used several colors of distress oxides with water to make the blue background.  I used a leaf embossing folder on the piece of green cardstock.  The deer are colors with my Altenew watercolors.  Aren't these guys just adorable?

Newtons Nook Theme Challenge

For my 3rd card for the Newtons Nook Inky Paws Challenge I decided to go with a theme challenge.  I chose the spring challenge.
What a beautiful theme this is.  I used the stamp set "Loads of Blooms" for my card below to celebrate spring.  I stamped the image and colored it with my Altenew watercolors.

What fun it was to look back at some of these great challenges they have had over at Inky Paws Challenge.

Newtons Nook Sketch Challenge

For my second card I decided to do the sketch challenge for Newtons Nook Inky Paws Challenge in celebration of their 100th challenge.
I chose #43 for my Sketch challenge above.
I used one of my favorite stamp sets called "Woodland Spring".  I love this adorable little fox.  I colored the image with my Altenew watercolors and fussy cut the image out.  I used a cloud stencil to do the background of the fox.  Love this sweet image.

Newtons Nook Inky Paws Color Challenge

Newtons Nook is one of my favorite stamp companies.  It could be because of the many adorable kitty stamps.  Their Inky Paws Challenge is celebrating their 100th challenge.  They have 4 different categories to enter your card in.

For my first card I decided to do the Color Challenge.
This is the color challenge I decided to go with.
I started my card by using my distress oxides and water to make a watercolor background.  I used the adorable little mouse on a tulip stamp that is from Garden Mice stamp set.  After stamping the image I used my Altenew watercolors to color the image.

The Project Bin

Where oh where does the time go?  I can't believe that July 4 is only 15 days away.  I hope everyone is enjoying their summer.  For my card this week for The Project Bin, I decided to use the stamp set "Red, White and Boom!".
I pulled out some patriotic papers that I had and made this card.  I stamped the image on white card stock and used an oval die to cut it out.  I found some different sparkly papers for the stars and scalloped oval.

I hope you liked my card this week.  Remember that an order over $75 over at The Project Bin will receive this stamp set (Red, White & Boom!) for free.  What a deal.

Be sure and check back next week because I have another card using this same stamp set.

Unidentified Image Swap #44

Heather selected our image this month for our challenge.

Of course Heather chose one of my favorite stamp companies "Two Paper Divas" for her image.  I am still sad they are out of business but I am very lucky to have several of their stamps in my stash.  This set was called "Spring Boots".  I colored the image with my copic markers and used a cross stich rectangle die to cut it out.

Thanks Heather for a great challenge.

Dueling Darlings

What a fun challenge this month for the Dueling Darlings selected by Terry L. and Tami.  Terry L. sent me a package of all kinds of goodies.  Who would of thought it would be so much fun to make a halloween card in June?  Well I loved it.
The adorable image is from My Favorite Things called "Witch Way is the Candy?".  The papers used are from The Paper Studio.  The fence, spider web and small bats are from Amuse.

Thanks to Terry and Tami for a great challenge this month.

The Project Bin.

I have another fun card today for The Project Bin.  I liked my card so well last week that I decided to make another card using a different sentiment from the Birthday Girl stamp set.

I stamped the sentiment birthday girl on a piece of vanilla cardstock and cut it out.  I also did a little sponging around the edges with Creamy Caramel Stampin Up ink which is an oldie but goodie and is no longer available.  I love the softness of this color.  The other elements of the card are from the paper line Denim & Girls by Maja designs.  I really liked the photo pages.

I hope you enjoyed the card this week.  Be sure and check back next week because I am in the Patriotic theme.

The Project Bin is running a June Special which is if you order $75 of merchandise you will receive "Red, White & Boom" stamp set.  Later in the month I will show you several fun cards I made with this stamp set.

PIP Challenge #1923

I have a fun card today for Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenge #1923.  Our sponsor this week is Imagine That Digistamp.  You just have to love their digital stamps.  Such personality.  My card today is from the stamp set Poolside Penguins
I stenciled some waves on the bottom and added a little sunshine to the background of this card.  I colored the image with my copic markers and fussy cut it out.  So fun to color.  I just love the summertime feel this card has.  It is amazing how many different digital stamps come with the set.  What a bargain.

I am also entering this card in the monthly ITD Challenge

Be sure and link up your card at PIP Challenges because a lucky winner will win a $12 coupon to Imagine That Digistamp.

Creative Crew

This month's theme for our Creative Crew group comes from Terry and her theme is Thanks Snow Much.  What a fun theme but I hope this do...
