The Project Bin

Today I made another Valentine card using  the "Really Hungry" stamp set from "The Project Bin".  I am just amazed at all the stamps you get with this set.
I started this card by stamping the cupcake and then colored it with my copic markers.  I even added a little sparkle on the top of my cupcake although it doesn't really show up.  I then used a punch to cut it out.  I thought it would be fun to use the love die.  I pop dotted it over the sentiment.  Then I added a ribbon and ended up with an adorable card.

Thanks for stopping by.  See you next Wednesday.

Challenge Your Stash

This month's challenge over at "Challenge Your Stash" on Splitcoaststampers is brought to us by Sue.  Her challenge was to make a thank you card and use embossing somewhere on the card.
This challenge came at the perfect time because I am having to make several thank you cards.  I started with a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Authentique designer paper from the "Grace" line.  I put that piece of paper through my Anna Griffin "Blossom Dance" embossing folder.  I then added the piece of ribbon and the brown piece of paper that I had used a coordinating die on.  I stamped this beautiful sentiment that is from the Stampin Up "Lasting Lily" stamp set which I absolutely love.  I then added a few flowers and ended up with a nice thank you note.

Thanks to Sue for a great challenge.

The Project Bin

I have been having so much fun with this new stamp set "Really Hungry" from The Project Bin.
For my project today I decided to make a valentine treat bag.  I started with a 6" x 5" piece of red cardstock and folded the 6 inch side in half so it would measure 3" x 5" on each side.   I used a corner punch on each of the corners to give it a rounded look.   I then cut out 2 pieces of patterned paper that measured 2 3/4" x 4 3/4".  I adhered them to the front and the back of each side.  I then stamped the smores and colored them with my copic markers.  I used glossy effects on the chocolate part to give it a shiny look.  I then fussy cut them out.  I placed them on a 1 1/2" x 4 3/4" piece of pink patterned paper and stamped the sentiment below.  The heart and xo are from "In My Heart" set.  What fun that with that stamp set you get the heart die and the xoxo die.

I forgot to take a picture of the bag of my bag but on it I cut another heart out and stamped Happy Valentine's Day on the heart.

In the bag I put cinnamon grahams, valentine M & Ms and marshmallows to give it a smore effect.

Thanks for stopping by.  Next week I have yet another card with this fun set.

PIP Challenge #1903

Today's card for Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenge #1903 is from Bugaboo Stamps called "Make It Snappy Birthday Chickie".  I just love Bugaboo stamps because they just make me smile.
I printed off the image and colored it with my copic markers.  I decided to use some bright colors for the background to make the image pop.

Thanks to Bugaboo Stamps for being our sponsor over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies.

Mystery Image #50

This adorable card was made for a group of gals I exchange with on Splitcoaststampers.  LJ was our hostess this month and she sent this image "Happy Heart Day" by Stampin Up.  I colored it with my copic markers and then used a die to cut it out.  I also used glossy accents on the hearts.  The sentiment is from "Really Hungry" by The Project Bin.

Thanks LJ for a great challenge.

The Project Bin

As promised I have another creation from the new set "Really Hungry" by The Project Bin.
This is my favorite saying from the new set.  I stamped the tomatoes with Real Red Stampin Up Ink and the stems are Stampin Up Garden Green.  I then used a tag die I had and cut it out in 2 sizes.  One was the smaller white card base and the other was the red and white checked paper.  I used a little Vintage Photo Distress Ink around the edges to give it a weathered look.  I then added some ribbon, buttons, twine, heart doily and red sequins.  I love the fence paper background.  I think it reminds me of the farm and picking tomatoes when I was a kid.

I hope you enjoyed my card and be sure and check out The Project Bin blog for other ideas with this new fun set.

Dueling Darlings

Not sure how it happened but it is already the 15th of January.  Time is going so fast.  Our hostesses this month for our challenge were Donna and Judy.  Donna sent me my kit with all kinds of fun items in it.  The theme this month is "Encouragement".
The butterflies are from a retires Gina K set "Hope is Faith".  I colored them with my copic markers.  The papers are from the Paper Studio.  I also used several of the embellishments that Donna sent me.

So be sure and encourage someone you love who may be struggling with a difficult situation.  We all have our own struggles throughout life and nice to know that you have a support system of friends out there.

Thanks Donna for a great kit.

The Project Bin

The Project Bin just release a new stamp set called "Really Hungry" and I am loving it.  There are so many possibilities with this set.  I am a chocoholic and love smores so I made this card.
I stamped the smores images with coffee colored Archival ink and then colored it in with my copic markers.  I then fussy cut the images out and placed them on the front of my card.  The sentiment is also from the Really Hungry Set.

Be sure and check back next Wednesday because I have another card from this set that is just adorable.

Crafters of Faith

I really hope to be posting more on my blog this year.  Today I am posting a card I made for a group I am in on Splitcoaststampers called Crafters of Faith.  Kelly was our hostess this month and she chose the scripture  "1 Samuel 2:2 - There is no one holy like the LORD; there is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God".

I looked through all of my stash and could not believe I didn't have one stamp with a rock on it.  And here I thought I had everything.  So I used some Stampin Up paper that I had with a very simple verse on it.  The sentiment was from "Brighter Days" by Verve.

Be sure and check back tomorrow because I have a new project for The Project Bin.

PIP Challenge #1901

I can't believe we are saying 2019 already.  Where did 2018 go?  It is going to be another exciting year for Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenges.  We have some great sponsors scheduled for 2019 so be sure and check back every week for the challenges.

This week is sponsored by Star Stampz.  She has some adorable digital stamps in her etsy store.  For my card today I used the Cup of Cocoa Digital Stamp.
I printed off the image and then colored it with my copic markers.  I topped off the card by using a little glitter on her ear muffs and coat trim.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure and check out the StarStampz store.

Exciting News

Happy 2019!  I hope everyone is ready for another year of crafting fun.  I am so excited to announce that I have been selected to be on The Project Bin design team.  They have some of the most adorable stamps.

So every Wednesday I will be posting projects using stamps from The Project Bin.  For my card today I thought I would post a winter card since it still seems to be winter in the Midwest.
The stamp set I used is called "North Pole".  The quality of these stamps are just amazing.  I stamped the Let it snow in red ink and then made it my background for the stamp.  I added a few snowflakes and the sentiment at the bottom which also comes with the same stamp set.

So it looks like you will be seeing me more often on my blog which is one of my goals for 2019.  I really want to post more of my projects.

Creative Crew

This month's theme for our Creative Crew group comes from Terry and her theme is Thanks Snow Much.  What a fun theme but I hope this do...
