Manhattan Flower Emboss
I am working on a technique demonstration for a card swap in October and I need your opinion. On the first card I used the Manhattan Flower Embossing folder from Stampin Up and vellum card stock. I sponged on the back of the embossing using 3 colors (Cameo Coral, Rose Red and Summer Sun). I then cut out the roses and layered on green cardstock.
On the next card I used an ivory background and sponged on the front of the embossed flower using the same colors.

My question for all of you out there is which do you like better? Just leave a comment below as to your favorite. Thanks for your help.

Both are gorgeous, but the first is my favorite! The other swappers will love them!
ReplyDeletewow, that is a hard one because both have "appeal". I like the first one becuase it is so colorful and I also like the white showing from the embossing of the flowers, but I also like the second one because the flowers "stand out" more. I think I am going to go with the 2nd one because I think all the reds and pinks get lost being placed onto the green cardstock. Could you sponge onto the back of the flowers and add them to a white or cream cardstock front so you get the best of both worlds???
