Card Set in Box
This is another gift set of monogram notecards I made for a birthday gift. I again used the new paper from Stampin Up. The box template came from another Tracy's Blog that I found online. I just added a few embellishments and had a nice gift.

April Monthly Image Swap
This was an image I received in a SCS Image Challenge Swap. We all receive the same image and it is so fun to see what everyone else comes up with. This was a Stampavie stamp.
You can see the other cards in the swap here. There are truly some talented people in this swap.

Happy Blogaversary to Keva
Over at Keva's Blog she is having a little contest and giving away a gift certificate to Verve or PTI in celebration of her blog 1 year anniversary. The contest was to take one of her cards and make your own.
I have been following Keva for a while and I really admire all her cards. It was hard to chose which card to case because there are so many that I love.
Well I narrowed it down and came up with this card because this is where I found out about Adele. When you are on Keva's blog, be sure and listen to Adele "Rolling in the Deep". I had to go out and buy the DVD after listening to this song and I love it.
Thank you Keva for your inspiration and happy 1 year anniversary.

White Lilacs
I had to post a picture of the most beautiful flowers that I received from a friend who volunteers at our hospital in the department I work in. She is a darling person and when I told her that lilacs were my favorite flower, she had me a bucket full. My house smells absolutely wonderful and it takes me back to the good times of my childhood at my grandmas house. Nothing beats the smell of lilacs.

Dog Easter Card
Some of you know my sister but for those of you who don't this is a little tribute to her. She doesn't have any kids but she loves her dogs like kids. I had to post pictures of Aspen's 3rd birthday party. She works at 3 Dog Bakery corporate office and Aspen gets to go to work with her. There is a 3 Dog Bakery close to the office so they get cakes for the dogs and have a celebration. Somehow Aspen is always the closest to the cake even if it isn't her birthday.
I always like doing dog cards for her on holidays and this is the Easter card I sent her. I cut the eggs and the grass out with my cricut. I colored the dog image with my copic markers. Just had to add some bunny ears.

Jar Easter Cards
This is the Easter card that I made for my stamping buddies. I have been wanting to use the canning jar stamp and die cut from PaperTrey Ink so this is my take on the Easter version. I put little bunnies in each jar. The bunnies were Lifestyle Crafts Candy Bunny cutting die. So cute. The doily dies were from Papertrey Ink also. The papers I used were from Basic Grey called "Hello Luscious". Winding down on my Easter cards. You will love the post tomorrow so be sure and check back.

Paper Napkin Card
Sorry that I have been MIA the last couple of days. I have been in my basement sewing away trying to finish up a t-shirt quilt that I promised to a co-worker. She is going to give it to her son for a graduation gift. It was fun but I'm glad it's done. Now it is off to the quilters.
So I am back in my craft room and the ideas are just spinning. I have several cards started, just need to finish up. I had to stop everything when I came across this tutorial by Michelle Wedemeyer. You basically take any paper napkin you have at home and transfer it to your card stock with plain ole plastic wrap and your iron. I just happened to be in Tuesday Morning today and came across these beautiful napkins and decided to give it a try.
Be sure and check back because I found some easter napkins that I am playing with next.

Bookmarks
I have been trying my hand at some bookmarks. I bought this wonderful stamp set from Inkadinkado with Butterfly, dragonfly, Hummingbird and a ladybug. I just love the stamp set and know that it is endless what I will be able to do with this set. I used the butterfly for this set and stamped with my versamark and then embossed with black powder. I used my stampin up pens to color in to match the papers.

Easter Basket
I won't be putting alot on my blog this week because I am at my sewing machine trying to finish up a t-shirt quilt.
Today I wanted to post a easter basket that I made for a secret sister in SCS. The pattern for the basket is at SCS. I made it a little bigger with a 6 inch square instead of a 5 inch. I scored at 1 3/4 inch all around. The bunny face pattern is at "Confessions of a Stamping Addict" Blog. I decided to add some stuffing for a tail in the back.

Tri Fold Card
I am so excited to post today because I have been looking forever for a flower frog to display my cards on. My friend, Patty called me and said she had found me one. I am so excited because I think it really makes the cards pop. I even came home and made myself a little shadow box to take all my pictures. It still needs some work but at least this is a start. I just love my little flower frog. This was a tri-fold card that I made - love the papers which is Stella and Rose from My Mind's Eye. The stamp is from SU and is called Cheep Talk.

Button Bracelet
One of my friends at work wore this blue button bracelet to work and I loved it. I went home to my antique button box (My mom gave me years ago) and started making the black one. I appreciate my mother being so frugal by saving every button off clothes when they were wore out. All of these buttons were from my childhood at one time or another. The base of the bracelet is just wide elastic. Very simple but sure took a long time to tie every button on because you had to tie off each time.

Chocolate Easter Bunny
My good friend Olivia over at Oliva's Creative Quest was my secret sister at SCS a couple of years ago. She sent me the SU Chocolate Bunny Stamp and I have been having fun with it ever since . I know she will see this card and realize that I cased this card from the one she sent me. I just love every one of her cards. Another Easter card done.

New Flowers
I found these sculptured flowers at my last visit to Archivers and I just had to make a card with it. I embossed the bottom green with a leaf embossing folder. The brown flower is a die cut from Paper Trey Ink. The green stamped image is from SU Sweet Summer set which is my new favorite. I know it changes every day but this is it for today. I added a couple of the flowers for depth. The Happy Birthday image was from SU Well Scripted set.

Thinking of you
This was a very simple card that I had seen in a card magazine and thought I would put my own twist on it. The little flowers were a background image from Stampin Up called Pretty Pattern. I used my Versa Mark pad and then embossed with a white powder. I then added a small pearl in each center. The Thinking of You was from SU Warmest Regards. Very simple but still looks elegant.

Flower Card
I received my new CardMaker magazine in the mail today and decided to try one of the cards that was in the magazine. Not sure I would use these color combos again but I punched out the paper with the flower punch and oval and just added the buttons and stamped for you. The butterfly is my new favorite punch from Martha Stewart Designs. Just sending a little cheer with this bright card.
