Tuesday Morning Sketches #159

I can't believe it has been a whole week since I have posted.  Wow, where does the time go?  Today I decided I needed to make a card for a secret sis on Splitcoast Stampers.  The sketch below is the sketch for this week from Tuesday Morning Sketches.  What a nice challenge it was.
I used an image from Stamping Bella.  I believe she is called missmatch Ketto.  I used a new paper called Cashmere Dame from Glitz that I purchased at Remember This Remember That in Gardner, Kansas.  My favorite paper of the week. My theme was going to be cherries for the kit I am getting together for my secret sister so I used the blue print for the background and added a few other papers from the set.  I love the zig zag paper also.  The cherry stamp is from PTI as is the sentiment.  Add a little bling and you have a cute little card.
Check back tomorrow because I am going to post how I finally got my dies organized.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #158

Today I was looking for a challenge and as always went to Tuesday Morning Sketches.  And as always, they have provided a great sketch to go by.  I decided to use one of the new stamp sets from Stampin Up called Summer Silhouettes.  It is definitely going to be one of my new favorites.  The designed paper I used was from Stampin Up and was called Attic Boutique.  I also used some Spellbinder dies for the scalloped square and the label.  The sentiment was from Papertrey Ink.  The flowers were My Favorite Things Mini Rolled Roses.  I can't wait to send this birthday card to a very special friend.

I am attaching pictures that Melissa took of the samples.  I think my camera has about had it.  These are so much better.  If you are interested in the Halloween digitals, be sure and watch Two Paper Divas
because they will be for sale soon.  I love the Trick or Treat and Boo image.  Worked perfect in this project.

Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge #157

I really needed to make a birthday card today so I went over to Tuesday Morning Sketches where I can always find some wonderful inspiration.  I found another great sketch that would work perfect for my card.

The designer paper is Lost & Found Market Street by My Mind's Eye.  The image is from SS099 From the Garden set from Flourishes.  I used my copics to color this image.  I then added a sentiment from PTI and used the Martha Stewart butterfly punch for a little added dimension.

Think Halloween

Well finally I have finished my samples for my class that I am hoping to teach at Remember This Remember That in Gardner on Friday, August 17 from 1-3pm.  Please join me if you can.  I love this slider box.

These are the 2 cards that I will be teaching.  I used several of the Memory Box Dies which I am becoming a real fan of.

So join me if you can at my first go at teaching a class.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #156

It has been a while since I have done a challenge card.  Of course I always go to Tuesday Morning Sketches when I am needing some inspiration.  They always have the best sketches.  I colored this PTI flower image with my copic markers and then decided it was time to try my hand at using fabric tape.

The designer paper was My Mind's Eye Miss Caroline.  I just love these colors.

Be sure and check back tomorrow because I will be posting a picture of my projects for the class I am hoping to teach at Remember This Remember That in Gardner.

Watermelon Bag

Today I made this cute little watermelon bag to give to my sister.  I used the watermelon digital image from Two Paper Divas called Watermelon Time.  I sized the watermelon for the large one and colored it with my copic markers.  The small watermelons were printed on a pink patterned paper.  I then used the Spellbinders large scallop oval which worked perfect to cut in half and makes a perfect edge for the watermelon.

The tag doesn't show up real well but it says "Thanks a melon".  Thought that was cute.
