There is a fun challenge this week over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies. This week is being sponsored by The Cutting Cafe. If you are looking for fun cutting files, this is the place to find them.
An extra challenge this week is to use the color orange. For my project today I decided to use The Post It Note Holder set.
I found some fun papers that used the color orange and cut them out. I added a few flowers and ribbon to the box.
With the cutting file, you also get the labels for the inside which I thought was fun. The wrap dimensions for each of the note pads is also included.
What a great challenge this week. Hope to see you over at PIP Challenges.

Challenge Your Stash
Well today is reveal day for Challenge Your Stash Group on Splitcoaststampers. This group is always so much fun and I never know what fun the challenge will be for the month. Maggie is our hostess this month and she challenged us to use a pet in our card. That one was an easy one for me. I made a birthday card for a friend (who also loves cats). My friend just got a new orange tabby kitten so I thought this card would be perfect for her.
The stamp set I used was from Newtons Nook called Newton Loves Boxes. I used my copic markers to color him just like her new kitten and in honor of my 2 cats.
Great challenge Maggie.

The Project Bin
Today I am posting another Christmas card I made for The Project Bin using their new stamp "Mid Century Christmas".
Isn't this a beautiful stamp set? I just love the font that Denise used in designing this stamp set. For my card today I decided to use the adorable Santa face.
I colored the santa face with my copic markers and then fussy cut the image out. I then came up with a design for my card that highlights the Santa.
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I appreciate all my followers.

PIP Challenge #2033
Another fun challenge over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies today. There is no sponsor this week but a lucky winner will win a $10 gift certificate to Unity Stamp Company. They are such a wonderful company and they have some of the neatest stamps.
For my project today I made a postcard using their digital image "In This Together" and also the postcard template digital image.
I first made one and used my copic markers but I looked at the back and it had bled through my paper so I started over and used color pencils for my pink version.
I think this makes a wonderful postcard.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies this week.

Dueling Darlings
August 15th is reveal day for our Dueling Darlings Group on Splitcoaststampers. Today is a special day because it is the 10th year anniversary for the conception of this challenge group.
The Dueling Darlings are a group of friends from Splitcoaststampers and put together by Kelly Santi and Jeanette Cloyd.
We duel with two groups called the Divas and the Dazzlers. We have a monthly rotating hostess kit that goes out to make cards. The 2 hostesses come up with a theme and send their kits to each of their participants. Currently I am a Dazzler.
We have been celebrating all month with Kelly. She has made it so fun with different games throughout the month.
The kit I received from Kelly was full of embellishments which included ribbons, buttons, enamel dots (CC Designs), twine and sequins. You will see I used a little bit of it all. The image is from Cat's Pajamas called Forget About the Cake. The designer papers are from Photoplay and Simple Stories. You will see I made a cake for the background.
You will also see a ticket at the corner of my card. Someone in the group has the winning ticket so we were asked to display our ticket.
Thanks Kelly for making this month so much fun. Below are links to all the other Dazzlers and Divas. Be sure and check them out.

The Project Bin
I am really enjoying making Christmas cards right now. I am close to having enough to send out this year. My card today for The Project Bin uses the new Christmas stamp set called "Mid Century Christmas". You may have noticed the santa card I made in my last post.
For my card today I decided to use the tree from the "Mid Century Christmas" stamp set. I started with a piece of 4 x 5.25 piece of white cardstock. I then stamped the tree using Old Olive Stampin Up ink. The stand was stamped using black ink. I then stamped some christmas ornaments over the tree. The star and packages were stamped on white cardstock and I colored the packages with my copic markers. I used the matching die to cut out the star and packages.
The border was a Lawn Fawn Die I had and I topped it off with a piece of green and white twine.
I love this stamp set with the beautiful font used on all the sentiments and the stamps are such high quality. I hope you check out The Project Bin.

Crafters of Faith
I seem to still be on a Christmas card kick. I have plenty for this year but they are so much fun to make.
Our hostess this month is Liz and the scripture she chose was "Isaiah 60:19 - The sun will no more be your light by day, nor will the brightness of the moon shine on you, for the LORD will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory.
Liz challenged us to make a project using a radial pattern.
I just received a new stamp set in the mail from The Project Bin called Mid Century Christmas. I had received some paper in a card kit and came across this piece and thought it would be perfect for the radial challenge. I stamped the santa face off and colored him with my copic markers. I cut it out with my Brother Scan n cut. I then added another 1/4" and cut the red out. There are matching dies with this set to purchase but they are for the tree, star and presents which you will see in a later post this month.
Thanks Liz for a great challenge.

PIP Challenge #2031
Another fun challenge over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies . I can't believe we are on to Challenge #2031. This week is being sponsored by Di's Digital Stamps. She does have some adorable stamps for purchase. Please check them out.
For my card this week I decided to use an image that I already had.
The image I used is from House Mouse by Stampabilities and is called "Ho Ho Ho!". I find that I like coloring the adorable little mice. I am on a roll to get all my Christmas cards done by the end of August. I think I will make it.
I went with a simple layout for this card.
I hope everyone has a great week and don't forget to check out Di's Digital Stamps.

Day 8 Build Your Stash Holiday Hop
I am so sad to say that today is the final day for the Build Your Stash Holiday Hop. I have had so much fun making my holiday cards for this fun event.
For my card today I am using a House Mouse Wrapped and Ready image. You have to love these adorable little guys. They are always so fun to color.
I just went with a basic layout so the image would stand out. Added the Jolly sticker and a few sequins.
I hope you have checked out Build Your Stash Holiday Hop and seen the fantastic cards that artists have created. I am truly inspired by all the creative people who submitted their entires.
