The Project Bin

I have a fun card this week for The Project Bin.  I always need birthday cards so decided to make one this week.
I cut out the balloon die using watercolor paper and then colored them with watercolors.  I then stamped the lower right hand corner on the designer paper with the sentiment from the Born Yesterday stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by.  Be sure and check out The Project Bin blog for other ideas for inspiration.

Dueling Darlings

My card today is for our Dueling Darlings challenge on Splitcoaststampers.  The theme is Punny Foods this month.  I used The Big Cheese stamp from Whipper snapper.  The sentiment is from Age Doesn't Matter by Whipper Snapper.  I colored the image with copic markers and then cut it out with a circle die.  I then cut a scalloped circle die out of the yellow paper.  The flower is cheesecloth cut in a circle and sprayed with yellow ink.

What a fun challenge Heather came up with this month.

The Project Bin

I am so excited to see the sunshine and some warmth this week.  I love seeing spring peeking around the corner.  This beautiful weather gave me inspiration for my card today for The Project Bin
I am hoping we will be seeing butterflies soon.  I used the stamp set "Kinda Sorta" for this card.  I stamped the image out on pink paper using Stampin Up Midnight Muse Ink.  I then fussy cut it out.  The butterflies are an old embossing set I had from Stampin Up.  The paper is Early Bird Collection by Bo Bunny.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.  I enjoy making cards for The Project Bin and hope you are able to stop by the store and pick something up that you have wanted.

PIP Challenge #1911

I am loving the sunshine we are having here in Kansas.  Finally!!!  It has been a long hard winter and makes me appreciate spring so much more.  Today's challenge over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies is sponsored by Lawn Fawn.
Who doesn't love Lawn Fawn?  They have such adorable stamps.  I always am a big fan of their stamps.
For my card I used the stamp set "FAB Flowers".  I am crazy about any kind of flower.  I use different colors of Stampin Up ink and then fussy cut out the flowers.  I added a few sequins for a little splash.  Such an easy card to make and it gives me the feeling of spring.

The Project Bin Ready for Spring

I don't think I have been more ready for spring.  We have had so much snow and cold weather that these last couple of days in the 50's have been glorious.

So for my card today for The Project Bin I decided to use the Spring Zen stamp set.
I just loved coloring these beautiful tulips.  I stenciled the cloud background and then the grass.  Then using a darker green ink, I stamped 3 tulips on my card.  I also stamped the upper part of the tulips on a white piece of cardstock and colored them with my copic markers.  I then fussy cut them out and placed them over the stamped images.  By using the pop dots, they get a layered look.

Thanks for stopping by and helping me wish spring would come soon.

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Crafters of Faith March 2019

I am a little late in posting my project for our Crafters of Faith group on Splitcoaststampers.  I always like to have my posts up first thing in the morning.
Our theme these month with Barb as our hostess is about living life to the fullest.  Our challenge was to make a creation that expresses how you live your life to the fullest or illustrates something you plan or wish for in the future.  The scripture is Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plan I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

I thought about this challenge for awhile and recently attended a quilt seminar and decided that I wanted to get back to that passion in my life.  Fabric just makes me feel good and I love seeing the smiles on faces of people who receive my quilts.

The quilt die and sentiment and both from Papertrey Ink.  A very simple design.  The paper is Petal Garden from Stampin Up.

The Project Bin "The Gratest"

I can't believe it is Wednesday already.  The week seems to be just flying by.  Today my project for The Project Bin uses the new stamp set "The Gratest".
I stamped off the spatulas and then colored them with my copic markers.  I then stamped the sentiment and cut it out.  What a fun card this was to make.  These sentiments just crack me up on the new stamp set.

PIP Challenge #1909

We had another cold blast come through our area over the weekend.  Is anyone else tired of the snow and cold???  I know I am.

The sponsor for Pammie's Inky Pinkies challenge this week is Bugaboo Stamps.  They are one of my favorite Digital design companies.

If you haven't been to their digital store, you must go.  The cutest images ever.  Since I am thinking Spring and sunshine I decided to make an Easter card using Scene It - Easter image.

I printed off the image and colored it with my copic markers.  Doesn't this just remind you of Spring.  Thanks to Bugaboo Stamps for being a sponsor this week.

Creative Crew

This month's theme for our Creative Crew group comes from Terry and her theme is Thanks Snow Much.  What a fun theme but I hope this do...
