PIP Challenge #1817

Today is Challenge #1817 over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenges and it is sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps.  Bugaboo Stamps is one of my favorite digital stamps companies because their stamps have such personality.  You can't help but love them.

This month we have a theme going and it is Rainy Days.  When I chose my image to use I didn't put much thought in to how I would incorporate the theme.  I used the stamp "Block Sentiments - if Friends were Flowers" for my card.
I colored the image with my copic markers and for the background I chose to do a sponging technique with Broken China and Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxides.  I then took a rain drop die and placed the cut out paper over my distress oxide sheet and applied water.  So it looks just like a rain drop background.  I added a yellow ribbon at the bottom to bring in more of the yellow color.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see your creations over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenges with your Rainy Day theme.

Challenge Your Stash

Today is reveal day for our "Challenge Your Stash" group on Splitcoaststampers.  Sue was the host this month and her challenge was April Showers bring May flowers and we were to use flowers and/or showers.  I decided to incorporate both in to my card.
For my card I used Newton's Nook Rainy Day stamp.  I first started with a piece of 4" x 5 1/4" white cardstock.  I used the MFT cloud stencil and sponged with Distress Ink Broken China on the top 2/3 of the card.  I then stamped my image leaving room for the grass.  I also stamped the image on a piece of pink designer paper and fussy cut it out. I stamped the flowers which are from Lawn Fawn "Blissful Botanicals" and colored them all with my copic markers.  The sun is a Lil Inker die and the cloud is a Memory Box stitched cloud die.  I just love this card.

Thanks to Sue for a great challenge.

Unidentified Image Round #37

Today I get to post a card I made for our Unidentified Image Round #37.  Vickie was our hostess this month and she came up with an adorable image.
This adorable image is from a retired Stampin Up set called "Fairies".  I really wish Stampin Up would bring back some of their retired sets because they are just so adorable.  I colored the image with my copic markers.  I even added a little sparkle on the wings with my Nuvo glitter pen although it doesn't show up well in my photo.

Thanks Vickie for a great challenge.

Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenge #1815

This week our challenge is being sponsored by Gerda Steiner Designs.  Be sure and stop by their store and see some of their adorable images.  For my challenge this week at Pammie's Inky Pinkies, I decided to use the image Strawberry Mouse.  Since it is almost strawberry season I thought this would be the perfect image.
I printed off the image on my Neenah Classic Crest Cardstock and then colored it with my copic markers.  I then used an oval stitched die to cut it out.  I found this adorable paper by Maja Designs called Life in the Country.  I thought the strawberries in the back would be the perfect accent to the card.  I typed up the sentiment on my computer and used a small oval punch and then a red scalloped oval punch for outlining the sentiment.

I hope to see you over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies and that you submit a creation because a lucky winner will win a $15 gift card to Gerda Steiner Designs.

I have decided to enter my card in the Gerda Steiner Challenge.

Dueling Darlings

Today is reveal day for our Dueling Darling Challenge group on Splitcoaststampers.  I  was lucky enough to share my month with Barb.  We decided to go with the theme of April Showers.  I somehow think we should of chosen April snow as our challenge but we just don't have control over the weather.
For my card I chose the image "Sophie" by Whipper Snapper.  The image was stamped on Neenah Class Crest Paper with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.  The designr papers are from Photoplay "Spring in my Garden".  The small piece of yellow paper is from Doodlebug called "Anchors Aweigh".  The sentiment is from Two Paper Divas called "Rain or Shine".  The umbrella die is from Memory Box called "Petite Umbrella".  I topped off the card using the yellow seam binding ribbon and a few embellishments.  The image was colored using my copic markers.

That fun this month was.  Thanks Barb for being my partner in crime!

Crafters of Faith Challenge

Since today is April 7th, it means that Crafters of Faith Challenge is up.  I had the honor of being the hostess this month.  For my challenge I decided to use the Scripture "Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your Heart" which is from Psalms 37:4.  I love hearts so I asked everyone to have a heart somewhere on their card.

I had found this stamp with the sentiment and decided I had to have it.  Now I have found the perfect use for it.  I started with doing some blending with my distress oxides (Peacock Feathers and Mermaid Lagoon).  I then stamped my sentiment and used a circle die to cut it out.  I added the heart circle die to accent the sentiment.  I used the Stampin Up heart border punch on the black piece of cardstock for the bottom border.  The red hearts were from the circle die I used.

What a fun challenge this was because I got to use Hearts.  I love anything with hearts on it.  I can't wait to see what everyone else comes up with.

PIP Challenge #1813

Time again for another challenge over at Pammie's Inky Pinkie Challenges.  This week the challenge is sponsored by Limited Runs Digital Stamps.
http://limitedrunsstamps.blogspot.co.uk/
Do you have a storage problem and just don't have room for all those lovely stamps.  Well digital stamps are definitely the way to go.

For my card today I chose Flower With Lady Bug.  I printed it off on X-press It Copic Coloring Paper.  It makes blending with your copics so nice.
After coloring the image with my copic markers, I then took a piece of designer paper and cut to 4" x 5 1/4"  and cut out the center with a scalloped oval die.  I then stamped the sentiment (from Stampin Up "What I Love" stamp set" and cut out the sides to make a banner.

Thanks for stopping by.  Be sure and enter your "Anything Goes" creation over at Pammie's Inky Pinkie Challenges because a lucky winner will win 3 free digital images.

Creative Crew

This month's theme for our Creative Crew group comes from Terry and her theme is Thanks Snow Much.  What a fun theme but I hope this do...
