I must say that March 7 really came around quickly and I realized yesterday I didn't have my card for the Crafters of Faith challenge even started. I looked at the challenge that Shelly the hostess gave us. She chose John 19:28-30 which states "After this, Jesus, knowing that all was now finished, said, "I thirst". A bowl full of vinegar stood there; so they put a sponge full of the vinegar on hyssop and held it to his mouth. When Jesus had received the vinegar, he said, "It is finished", and bowed his head and gave up his spirit." Shelly asked that we make a project using a cross on our card and to use purple somewhere on the card.
For my card I found this beautiful stamp in my Two Paper Divas treasure trove. I am still sad that they are no longer in business because they had the most beautiful stamps you will find. The stamp set was called "Rejoice". I stamped the image using MFT Extreme black and then cut out the design with MFT Cross Stitch Die. The sentiment was stamped using the same ink and then I just used a corner rounder on the corners.
Thanks to Shelly for a great challenge.
