Challenge Your Stash

Today is reveal day for a group I am in on Splitcoaststampers called "Challenge Your Stash".  Is is exactly what it sounds like.  Each month a different hostess will come up with a challenge of how to use your supplies that you have at home.

This month Jeanette was the hostess and she challenged us to use 3 different patterned papers in our project.  I also decided to incorporate the sketch challenge from Inky Paws Challenge #64

The stamp set I used was from Newton's Nook Designs called Woodland Duos
The Designer Paper is from Stampin Up called Sending Love.  I decided to color the foxes in a red theme for valentine's day with my copic markers and then just created the card.

Thanks Jeanette for a great challenge.

PIP Challenge #1803

What fun I had making this card for the PIP Challenge #1803.  This week the sponsor is Sasayaki Glitter Digital Stamps.

If you haven't checked out their digital stamps, you must because digital stamps are so fun and easy to store.  For my card today I chose the image "Teddy and Balloon Digital Stamp".  I thought it made a cute and simple valentine card.
After printing the image on my printer, I colored it with my copic markers.  I then fussy cut it out with my scissors.  I decided to use a heart embossing folder for the background and then a heart border punch for the side.  I even used some glossy accents on the heart to make it pop.

Thanks for stopping by.  Be sure and link up your project at PIP Challenges because a lucky winner could win a free digital stamp from Sasayaki Glitter.

Mystery Image Swap #44

Today is reveal day for our Mystery Image Swap group on Splitcoaststampers.  I was the hostess this month so I got to choose the image we were to color.

Since it has been cold and gloomy, I decided to choose a nice cheerful image.  The image I chose was "For Mom" by Whipper Snapper Designs.
I colored the image with my copic markers and then made it in to a simple card because I didnt want to take away from the image.

Dueling Darlings

Darlene sent a nice package this month with the calendars on it and we were to create a card using the calendar for this months Dueling Darlings Challenge.
One of my friends is having a birthday on January 25 and thought this would be a fun card for the challenge.  I had purchased the stamp set "Waddles - Snow Fun!" from Your Next Stamp and thought it would be the perfect set for those winter birthdays.

Thanks Darlene for a great challenge.

Inky Paws Challenge #63

I decided with this crazy cold weather that I would pull out my watercolors and play with them a bit.   Inky Paws Challenge #63 fit it perfect with my card that I made this week.  The theme this week is Pretty in Pink.

I am working on a few valentine cards and thought this would be the perfect challenge for me.  I used the stamp set "Woodland Duos" that I had recently purchased.
I started by doing a little water color background in 2 shades of pink and then colored these adorable foxes with my copic markers.  I stamped the hearts out and cut them out.  Another valentine card completed.

Crafters of Faith Challenge

Happy 2018.  I can't believe this is my first post in 2018.  Where does the time go?

I am in a wonderful group over at Splitcoaststampers called Crafters of Faith.  Each month one person chooses a special scripture that is meaningful to them and asks us to make a card with this scripture in mind.  This month the challenge is from Barb and she choose John 4:12 (No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us)  The challenge is to make a card or another creation that describes how "we" love one another--through friendship, trying times, music, holidays, etc.

This is the card I chose for this challenge.  I am thankful every day for my friends.  They are truly a blessing to me.
I made this card at a friend's swap yesterday.  We inked up our brayer and put the ink on the embossing folder.  It came out looking beautiful like this.  Just like my friendships - beautiful.  We also went over the white flowers with stickles to give it a little glitter effect.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Creative Crew

This month's theme for our Creative Crew group comes from Terry and her theme is Thanks Snow Much.  What a fun theme but I hope this do...
