Challenge Your Stash Group

Well it is time again for the Challenge Your Stash Group.  LJ was our hostess this month and her challenge was to do something that flies.  Well I love birds so I decided to do this card.
I used the Stampin Up stamp set called "Best Birds".  I colored the bird with my copic markers.  I love the simplicity of this card but definitely is one of my favorite CAS cards.

Thanks LJ for a great challenge

From The Heart Stamps

Since I have been having so much fun with digital images, I have decided to do a monthly challenge with "From The Heart Stamps".  If you continue each month with their challenge you get the image free every month.  Their digitals are just adorable.
This image is called Hogs and Kisses PigWit.  I decided to do a watercolor background and then fussy cut out the pig.  Isn't he adorable?

Can't wait to see what the image is for March.

Exciting News

Since Two Paper Divas decided to close their store I have been looking for a stamp company to design for that works with my style.  I was so happy to be selected to be on the Prickley Pear design team.  I will start in March so be watching for some of my cards starting next week.  I was amazed at all the stamps they carry.  And very reasonable.  Be sure and check them out.

Dueling Darlings

I hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day.  Since it is February 15, that means it is time for the Dueling Darlings Challenge.  The image selected by Shelly was Stampin Up "Load of Love".  This was the perfect theme for Valentine's Day.

I used to make this card:
Paper:  Red Denim and Black & Tan Paisley by Recollections
Ribbon - Burlap Twine and Red Flat Ribbon by "Celebrate It"
Buttons:  Heart by "Dress It Up - Love Potion"

Be sure and check out what some of my team mates came up with.

New Design Team

I am excited to announce that I have been selected to be on a new design team.  It is called Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenges.  I will start this new adventure in March.  I can't wait.  You should check out their challenges in the mean time.  They always have a sponsor who sells digital images that offer up a great prize for each challenge.  I have came across some new digital companies that I was not familiar with.  I am thrilled to be selected to be on this team.  Be watching in March for designs from me.

Crafters of Faith

My poor little blog hasn't seen much action in a few days.  I have lots of cards to share, just need to get them on my blog.  Today's card is for a group that I am in on Splitcoast Stampers called Crafters of Faith.  We have a theme each month.  This month the theme was Love.  How perfect for a Valentine's Day Card.
I used a Stampin Up set for this card called Filled with Love.  I thought the gray, black and red really worked out well for this card.

Be sure and check back this weekend because I have some exciting news to share.

PIP Challenge #1705

I have enjoyed doing  Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenges because I always go to the store that is sponsoring the challenge and find some fun digitals.  The company sponsoring Challenge #1705 is Sami Stamps.  She has some really cute digital stamps.  You can purchase some of their images
on her blog or at her etsy store.

The image I purchased is called Frost and Whisker Friends.  I colored the image with my copic markers and then found a sketch that would work to highlight this adorable image.  The sentiment is from a Stampin Up set I have.

I hope you enjoyed my card.  Be sure and check out Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenges.

Creative Crew

This month's theme for our Creative Crew group comes from Terry and her theme is Thanks Snow Much.  What a fun theme but I hope this do...
