Goodbye to Two Paper Divas

It is going to be hard to say goodbye to Two Paper Divas.  They are closing their doors Dec 16th.  Gayla and Melissa have been the best people ever to work with.  They have been very generous with their stamps and so supportive of the design team.  I feel that I have grown over the years as a card maker thanks to their support.  Today I wanted to post my favorite cards that I have made for Two Paper Divas and the stamp sets I used that may still be available.

No longer available but I sure loved this set

So you have seen some of my favorite cards I made in 2016.  Most of these are still available to purchase for 2 more days.  Grab them at 50% off while they are still available.

Again thank you to Two Paper Divas for providing so much fun in my card making.  I wish Gayla and Melissa the best in their retirement.  I'm sure we will see them around though because it would be a waste not to be seeing their talents out there somewhere.

Unidentified Image Swap 29

This card was made for the 29th round of the Unidentified Image swap on Splitcoast Stampers.  This image was provided by Kelly.  I just love this adorable image.  I forget the name of the stamp but I do know this adorable bunny is called flopsy.  You might see a few more cards made with this cute image by going to the following blogs.

Two Paper Divas

The time is winding down for your chance to get that stamp you have been wanting at Two Paper Divas.  Their stamps are not all 50% off.  They will be closing their store either the 15th or 16th of December so you have exactly one week to get those stamps you have always wanted.

I love this card because it just gives you the holiday feel with the fireplace, packages and candle on the hearth.  I starting making this card by taking a brick stencil and blocking off parts to make it look like a fireplace.  I then sponged in the area I wanted to show.  Then I took a piece of brown paper and put it across for the mantle.  I then used the stamp set "Holiday Greetings" for the Candle, package with bow, ivy and sentiment.  The fire is from the "On the road Again" stamp set.  I love to think outside the box with stamp sets.  I colored the images with my copic markers and I have a nice holiday card.

So take advantage of their sale.  You can always buy your own Christmas gift.  And what a bargain.

Addicted to CAS

My time is winding down as a Design Team member of Two Paper Divas as they decide to close their doors.  I find myself wondering what challenges I will come up with for myself in 2017.  As I create, I find that I am liking the Clean and Simple look to a card and easy to just drop in the mail.  I have been a follower of Addicted to CAS  for a long time and  I am amazed at the gorgeous cards they come up with.

I have decided to give it a try and came up with this card for their Challenge #102.  The code word for this challenge is congratulations.
For my card I went to Stampin Up's Kinda Electric which I use alot.  It is such a versatile stamp set.
So this is my clean and simple card. I hope you enjoyed it.

Creative Crew

This month's theme for our Creative Crew group comes from Terry and her theme is Thanks Snow Much.  What a fun theme but I hope this do...
