Two Paper Divas

Today is the end of my cards from the January release from Two Paper Divas.  I hope you are enjoying the January release as much as I am.  They have added some very talented crafters to the design team and I love seeing what they are making.

All of my cards today are from the Watt's Up? stamp set.  I had so much fun with these that I made 3 cards.  This first card I used a navy cardstock and embossed it with a circle embossing folder.  I colored the light bulb with some different water color paints.  I think I need to get the hang of them a littler better.
For the card below I used my zig watercolor markers.  You have to love the vibrant colors of these markers.  I then cut them out and pop dotted them on to the paper.
And yet another example of what you can do with this stamp set.  I colored it with my zig watercolor markers again.  I think this just makes a fun card.
Be sure and check back to see what February is bringing for Two Paper Divas.

Two Paper Divas

Another fun card from the January Release stamps from Two Paper Divas
I just love this sentiment from a new stamp set called Home Family Blessings.  I stamped the house image from the stamp set "My Neighborhood" on to designer paper and fussy cut it out.  I colored in the windows, roof and door with my zig watercolor papers.  I took some white ribbon and just dabbed in my ink pad to give it some color.

Come back next week for some of my favorite cards from Two Paper Divas.

Two Paper Divas

Well I am in to 20 days of my New Years Resolution with eating right and trying to lose some weight.  I thought this card would bring me inspiration but it just makes me want Sugar.

This is another great release from Two Paper Divas this month.   I think the sentiment "Can't Buy Happiness" is perfect.  For the cupcakes I used one of their digital Stamps called Cupcake Celebration. I fussy cut the cupcakes out after coloring them with my copic markers.

Be sure and check out Two Paper Divas this month.  I know there is something there that just has to go home with you.

Mystery Swap Round 32

Today is our release day for Round 32 of a Mystery Swap that I am in with a great bunch of gals over at Splitcoast Stampers.  This month was Jeanette 's choice and she chose an adorable snowman theme.  The stamp is from a Darcie's set.

I colored the cute image with my copic markers.  I think this is my favorite colors together with the aqua blue and red.  I sure seem to be using it alot.

Thanks for stopping by to see my creation for the day.

Dueling Darlings

It is time again for another Dueling Darlings with my friends on SCS.  This month was a challenge with myself and Barb.  We thought a theme for this time of year would be Soup and get well.

I am in the Dazzler group and I chose this fun image from C.C. Designs called Chick-N-Soup.  Isn't he adorable.  I also sent a few embellishments for their cards.  Be sure and click below to see what the Dazzler team came up with.  It is always fun to see what different ideas people have.

An added challenge was to add your favorite soup recipe or link to the soup.  My favorite soup is Potato Soup and a co-worker gave it to me years ago.  It is still my favorite.  Here is the recipe.

Potato Soup
1 pkg frozen cubed potatoes
12 oz chicken broth
8 oz cream cheese
1 pkg chicken gravy mix
1/4 cup diced carrots
1/4 cup diced onions
2 Tbsp butter
2 cups milk

Brown onions and carrots in butter.  Add chicken broth and bring to a boil.  Add potatoes and cubed cream cheese.  Cook until potatoes are done.  Stir chicken gravy mix into milk and then add to potato mixture.  Let set for 15 minutes for flavors to develop.  You can add crumbled bacon to the soup if you would like.

It is so much fun to see what everyone else does with the packages sent.  You can see some of the other creations at:

Two Paper Divas

Time again for a fun card from the January Release of stamp from Two Paper Divas.  For today's card I used a stamp set Flower Doodles #2.  I love the large petals on this set.
I just stamped the images on to designed paper and fussy cut them out.  The sentiment is from the Banners #1 Stamp Set which a great set to have because of all the sentiments.  It is fun to do a clean and simple card and like the results.

Two Paper Divas

Another fun card from the January release from Two Paper Divas.  Most of you know that I am a real fan of flowers.  So when I received the January stamps I was excited to see several floral sets.  Today I am making a card using the Funky Flowers set.
I made this card using water color paper and my zig watercolor makers.  I sure do love those markers.  I am not ready to give up on copics but I love the vibrancy of the watercolor markers.  The sentiment from this card is from the Bloom Wildly Sentiments set.  I added a chunky glitter on the center of the flower to make it pop.

Check back next Friday for another Floral card using a different flower set.

January Release for Two Paper Divas

Today is the day for the release of the January Two Paper Diva Stamps.  I can't tell you how much I have enjoyed the release this month. I am going to use my favorite stamp set for my cards today.  It is called Best Fishes.  For my first card I used white embossing powder and Versamark ink to stamp the sentiment "Best Fishes".  I then did a water color technique for the background using my 3 different colors of blue distress inks.  I also stamped the fish on watercolor paper and colored the fish using my zig watercolor markers.  I love the bright colors you end up with after using these markers.
Since I had so much fun with this card, I went ahead and stamped the inside of the card.
For the card below,  I used more of my fish that I had colored with my zig water color makers.  I cut a piece of black cardstock 4 1/4" x 8" and scored it at 2 1/2" to give the fold on the left side.  I also cut out a blue 3 1/4" circle and a black 3 1/2" circle.  I used a bubble looking embossing folder for the blue circle.  For the inside of the card I cut a 3 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of cardstock and folded it in half.  I adhered it to the right of the inside of the card before adding the white sentiment piece that was cut 4 x 5 1/4" .  The polka dot paper at the top of the inside fold is cut at 3 1/4" x 4".  I also added the inside circle cut at 3 1/4".  The yellow pieces are cut at 2 1/4" x 4". I added the blue wave die at the bottom of the inside to give it a water theme.  I also added some clear gems on the outside of the card to look like air bubbles.
The blue piece of paper on the inside is 1" x 4".  You can or cannot add it.
So you can see how much I loved this set.  I guess it is because there are alot of fisherman in my family and they are just fun to color.

Be sure and check back on Friday for another fun release card.

January Two Paper Divas

Happy 2016.  I wish everyone a healthy and happy New Year.  I have decided not to do a New Years Resolution this year because it is always the same and can't stick with it so no Resolution for me.

What I have decided to do this year is to be better with my blog and maybe post a little more often.  It will be easy to do because I have heard that Two Paper Divas has some exciting stamps coming out in 2016.  Just seeing what January stamps are coming is exciting and I'm sure the remainder of the  year will be just as good.

For today's sneak peak I have done fun background floral card using the new floral set called Funky Flowers.  The sentiment is the center is from the Bloom Wildly Sentiments stamp set

To make this card I used masking paper and cut out the oval.  I then put it in the center of my white  Watercolor paper and then started stamping the flowers.  I used my  zig water color markers to color the flowers.  I used a gray marker to go around all the flowers so they would stand out.

I hope you enjoyed this little sneak peak of what is to come in January for Two Paper Divas.  Come back on Jan 5 for their release date and I will have another fun card I have made.

Craft Time Challenges

Today I am posting for a new Design Team that I have joined called Crafty Time Challenges.  My friend Heather asked me to join them and I was excited to accept since they have great sponsors who offer digital images which I love.

Our challenge this month is Sparkles and it is sponsored by Morgan Fitzsimons.  You can see her beautiful digital images at Morgan's ArtWorld.  Once lucky player from this months challenge could win a prize from our sponsor.

My card for this challenge is a stamp called Baby Foxes.  Most of you know that I love Foxes.  I think they are the most beautiful creatures.

For the challenge part I decided to pull out my stickles and put it on the greenery and the pink part of the leaves.  Such an adorable image.

You can play along with us by linking up your creation on the Crafty Time Challenges Blog.  Please note, maximum 3 entries per person.  Deadline is January 31, 2016.

If you have a few minutes, please consider stopping by the other Design Team Members blogs and leave them a comment.

Creative Crew

This month's theme for our Creative Crew group comes from Terry and her theme is Thanks Snow Much.  What a fun theme but I hope this do...
