Two Paper Divas

Time again for another post for Two Paper Divas.  I can't believe March is winding down.  It has been such a nice month for weather here in Kansas.

Since we are seeing flowers pop up everywhere I thought today's card would be great to include a flower.  I tried something a little different for this card. I took a piece of black cardstock and stamped the sweet blossom image with my versa mark ink and then used white embossing powder.  I then pulled out my prisma coloring pencils to color the image.  I thought it gave it a nice look.
Enjoy the spring time weather and be sure and check out Two Paper Divas.  They have a new release coming out next week and I love the new stamps.  Be sure and check back around April 5.

Challenge #253 - Easter - Meljens Designs

I am so sad that today will be my last design card for Meljens Designs because she is closing her digital store to pursue other avenues with her artistic abilities.  I have been on the design team for almost a year and I have loved every minute of it.  I wish Melissa the best and can't wait to check out her etsy store.

Today's challenge is Easter which I just realized is right around the corner.
I downloaded the image called Hop Along Bunny from the store and colored it with my copic markers.  I just think this image is adorable.

So be sure and check out the store before March 31 and buy all those digitals while you can.

Two Paper Divas

I hope you enjoyed all the fun with the St. Patricks Day festivities over at Two Paper Divas.  I sure had fun creating some cards for their hop.

Today's card was a fun one to create.  The stamp stumped me at first because I had to think what peanuts meant to me.  Well my though was Peanut Butter of course!!  So I typed this cute sentiment that I had seen "You are the Peanut to my Butter" which I thought was perfect.  For this card I used the Candy Jar stamp and the Peanuts Stamp.  What a fun card it turned out to me.

I am now working on cards for the April release for Two Paper Divas and each month I say they are my favorites.  But check back and see for yourself.

Another Day of Green at Two Paper Divas

Happy St. Patricks Day.  Two Paper Divas is celebrating with a whole lot of green today.  Have you checked out their blog and left a nice comment about their new release.  Who wouldn't love to win a stamp set?
Today's card I used the Mason Jar set and had my shamrocks spilling out of the jar.  The sentiment is from Mason Jar Accessories #2 which is definitely one of my "go to" stamp sets with all the wonderful sentiments.

I hope you have enjoyed the "Green" celebration over at Two Paper Divas.  Don't forget to leave a comment on their blog for a chance to win.

Seeing Green at Two Paper Divas

They are celebrating green over at Two Paper Divas.  In celebration of St. Patricks Day and their new stamp release this month, they are doing whole lotta green.  Be sure and visit their blog because there is a chance for a free stamp set.
I used their new stamp set called "Lucky Me" to make this card.  I also thought it would be fun to put my shamrocks in a jar so I used their small jar in the Mason Jar Stamp Set.

Check back tomorrow because I have another card celebrating green.

Two Paper Divas

It's Friday and you know what that means.  Time for a Two Paper Divas post.
I decided to get ahead of the game today and make a Father's Day card with one of the new stamp sets.  I started out using my brayer for the top of the card with a blue ink and then used crumb cake for the bottom.  I then stamped the trees from the "On the Road Again" stamp set and colored them in with my copic markers.  The sign is from the Father's Day set that I stamped on crumb cake paper and sponged around the edges.

Have a great weekend and be sure and check out Two Paper Divas stamps.

Meljens Designs Challenge #251

Time again for another challenge from Meljens Designs.  Today's challenge is "All That Glitters is Gold".  I took a different turn on this challenge.
For my card today I used the image "A Girl and Her Kitty".  Of course the kitty is gold to match my kitties at home.  I also added a gold sequin.  I have a new fascination with sequins, just don't know how to use them.

If you have visited Melissa's shop at Meljen's Designs, do so soon because she is closing her digital store. She is going in a new direction and hopefully we will see her talents in her Etsy Shop.  All of her stamps are half price right now so be sure and go buy what you want before they are gone.

Meljen's Designs Design Team Day

I am so ready to put this cold weather behind me and have some fun in the sun.  So my card today definitely reminds of fun & sun.

For my card today I used the adorable image called "Beach Kitten".
Since I have 2 cats at home, I always love the cat images that Melissa comes up with at Meljen's Designs.

Be sure at stop by the Meljens Design Blog and join us in the latest challenge which is "Seeing Double".

Hope this card brings a smile to you and warmth to wherever you are.

Two Paper Divas

Today is Friday and that means another card from Two Paper Divas.  Have you checked out their blog lately?  They always have such fun posts.

Today's card is a sentiment card that I made for a friend who is going through a tough time right now.  The stamp is called "End of Your Rope".
Hope you enjoyed today's card.

Two Paper Divas March Release

Can't believe it is March already but this means time for a new release from Two Paper Divas.  For today's card I used their new Flower Stamp.  It is my favorite out of the March stamps.  So versatile.  I decided to make a clean and simple card using paper piecing on this one.  The sentiment is from one of their sets called "Everyday Sentiments".  I find that this is my "go-to" stamp set when I am looking for a great sentiment.

Be sure and check out some of the other great stamps sets that are being released this month.

Creative Crew

This month's theme for our Creative Crew group comes from Terry and her theme is Thanks Snow Much.  What a fun theme but I hope this do...
