Two Paper Divas

I think I have almost completed my goal of 50 Christmas cards.  They are my favorite card to make.
For today's card I used O Christmas Tree stamp from Two Paper Divas. What I love about the Two Paper Diva stamps are that you can buy them in the digital format or clear stamp.  I stamped the tree, colored it with my copic markers and then pop dotted it to my dies that I had cut out.  The banner sentiment was Two Paper Divas Holiday sentiments

I hope you enjoyed another Christmas card.  Only a few more weeks until Christmas will be here.

Meljens Designs Challenge #238

I just love the Christmas images over at Meljen's Designs.  For the challenge today, the theme is tags.

I decided to use a tag for my background to make the image pop.  Today's card I used the stamp "Bitty Christmas Tree Bears".  I think it is adorable.  I used my copics to color and a few stickles to make it pop.

Be sure and check out some of the other projects from the design team for this challenge.  Such a creative group.
Did you know that they are having a sale over at Meljen's Designs?  Go ahead and grab some of those adorable images that you have been wanting.

Two Paper Divas

Still working on Christmas cards at my house.  My goal is to have 50 completed by Thanksgiving.  I used one of the new release stamps from Two Paper Divas called Jingle All The Way.  This is such a fun versatile stamp.  When I first saw this stamp I thought of a beautifully decorated door with bells on it so I decided to try and make a door card.

The pieces I cut out of PTI Kraft cardstock were
1 piece 4" x 5 1/4"
2 pieces 1 1/2" x 3"
2 pieces 1" x 2 3/4"
1 piece 1 1/2" x 3 1/4"
1 piece 1" x 2 3/4"

I then put all of these through my wood look embossing folder.  Be sure and think about your direction of the grain for the bottom panels.  I had to do those twice.

I colored my bells with copic markers and then cut them out.  I pop dotted them on my door and used a brad for the doorknob.

Thanks for stopping by.  See you next Friday for more Two Paper Diva inspired cards.

Two Paper Divas

Have you checked out the new stamps from Two Paper Divas yet?  They are adorable as always.  The one I am using today is called You Are The Light.

To make this card I first stamped it and then colored it with my copic markers.  I then put glue over the whole image and dipped it in very fine glitter.  It really gives it a beautiful look.

Hope you enjoyed my card for the day.  Be sure and follow Two Paper Divas because they always have fun projects there.

Meljens Designs Challenge #236

Time again for a challenge over at Meljens Designs.  Today's fun challenge is called Hot Chocolate and you are to use the color brown.  I found their adorable Christmas Cocoa image and decided to use it for my card.  You just have to love the digital images.  I am having so much fun with them.  I love that you can make them any size you want.  I get some good practice with my copics also.
Let's see what you can come up with for this challenge.  I love seeing what everyone does with the challenges.

New Release for Two Paper Divas

Have you checked Two Paper Divas out recently?  They have some new adorable clear stamps.  For my project today I am using the O! Christmas Tree Stamp.

I tried a new technique for the background of my card.  I took a piece of glossy paper and put drops of ink around the card.  For my card I used red, green and yellow.  I then took another piece of glossy ribbon and smashed them both together.  I let them dry and you now have 2 pieces of gorgeous background. I also added a little stickles on the bottom of the trees.

Enjoy the card and check out the new items at Two Paper Divas.

Design Team Day over at Meljen's Designs

Since fall is here in full color, I decided to make a fall card for my design team day at Meljens Designs using a new technique that I have tried out and loved.  It is called Crayon Rubbed Embossed and you can see how to do it here at Splitcoast Stampers.  I used a fall leaf embossing folder  that I rubbed the crayon on.  I then used a brayer to go over the card with Cajun Craze Stampin Up ink.  I used the Autumn Leaf Mouse image to use on my card.

I didn't want to add too much to the card because I wanted the resisting to show and the image to stand out.  I hope you enjoyed my card today.  It is always fun to try new techniques and you can always find an adorable image to match your creations at Meljen's Store.  Check all her holiday images out.  So adorable.

Creative Crew

This month's theme for our Creative Crew group comes from Terry and her theme is Thanks Snow Much.  What a fun theme but I hope this do...
