Twisted Tuesday Challenges

I love the challenge today over at Twisted Tuesday Challenges.  It is the 5th Tuesday of the month so anything goes.  My sister in Texas had asked me to make her some Thank you cards and I thought this would be the perfect card with a little southwest flair.  The sentiment and die is from Papertrey Ink.  I found the stamps at our local craft store.

Be sure and check out the other creations done by the design team at Twisted Tuesday Challenges.

Prickley Pear Design Team

Today I am posting my favorite card from the Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps Halloween cards that I have made.  I use the rubber stamp "Witch on Pumpkin" and then colored the image using the following copic colors:
V12, V15, V17 Purples
YR12, YR16, YR18 Pumpkin
E00 & E02 Face and Arms
E31, E33, E35 Hair.

The oval Die I used was Cherry Lynn Polynesian Sails Oval.  What I liked about this die is that you get a small one in the center and the oval.
So enjoy my card and check out the other fun items at Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps.

Prickley Pear Design Team

My creation today is another fun stamp set from Prickey Pear Rubber Stamps.  I used the image "GC0171 Midnight Choir".  Anyone who knows me, knows how well I love my kitties so this was a fun stamp for me.  I know I will be using it several more times.  I also used the Cherry Lynn Fionas Magic Window Die which I thought made a great border for the bottom.  I also used the Cherry Lynn Polynesian sails oval.
I love the bright papers in the card.  Just made the black image pop.  Check back again next week to see another great halloween creation.  Be sure and check out all the great items at Prickey Pear Rubber Stamps.

Twisted Tuesday Challenge

It is time for another challenge over at Twisted Tuesday Challenges.  It is the perfect challenge for the fall weather that we are having.  The challenge today is to be make your creation a Celebration Theme.  What better thing to celebrate than fall.  You have to love all the colors and smells of fall.  Everything about fall is something to celebrate.  The twist was to use some kind of natural element on your creation.  I chose to use twine and fall leaves.
The bingo card is from Two Paper Divas along with the pumpkins and crow sitting on top of them.  The leaves were cut out of felt and the sunflower was a MFT die.

Prickley Pear Designs

Back again with another Halloween Card from some fantastic products from Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps. On this card I used the stamp set  called GG0174 Ghastly Ghosts.  I used versamark and then white embossing powder to make the  ghosts stand out. The sentiment is also from Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps and is called  EE0160 Beware and Take Care.  I used part of a Cherry Lynn DL102 French Pastry Doily Die.  Amazing that you can cut that die from any color of cardstock.  You get such a nice cut also.  I added a little ghost charm and some orange ribbon and you have a quick halloween card.
Check out the Prickly Pear Rubber Stamps blog to see what other creative things were posted today.  Be sure and check back next week for my next Halloween installment.

So I started a new venture in October with Prickley Pear Designs which I was lucky enough to be chosen to be on their design team.  What wonderful products they have.  For today's card, I chose this adorable stamp called "GG0172 Witches Brew".  I used my copics to give her a little color.  The doily is  a  Cherry Lynn die called D1102 French Pastry Die

Halloween Witch

Today's card just has to make you smile.  I saw this image on Pinterest and said to myself that I had to have it so I ordered the image called Witch with full moon from Stamp It Crazy.  They have so other great halloween stamps but this one spoke to me.

I sponged a yellow moon in the center using Stampin Up Daffodil delight and then sponged around the edges with Wild Honey Distress Ink.  I then colored in the rest with my copic markers.  Add a little trim and you have a great halloween card.
I made this card because they are having a Halloween challenge over at Cuttin and Stampin.  If you need ideas for Halloween cards, just check out the other entries.  There are some adorable cards there.

Twisted Tuesday Challenge

It is time for another challenge over at Twisted Tuesday Challenges.  I had to think a bit on this challenge.  The challenge today was "Heavy - use lots of layers" and the twist is the use metal. I decided to go with a snowflake card.  I first embossed my glitter paper with a snowflake embossing folder and then I cut out several layers of snowflakes and used brads for my metal part.  The sentiment is called "Holiday Photo Finishes" from Papertrey Ink which I used silver embossing powder to make it stand out a bit.

Thanks for taking a peek at my card.  Be sure and look at some of the other talented designers on Twisted Tuesday Challenges.  It is always fun to see what different designs people come up with.

Creative Crew

This month's theme for our Creative Crew group comes from Terry and her theme is Thanks Snow Much.  What a fun theme but I hope this do...
