February Class
The weather here in the Midwest is quite warm for the year. I am loving it but having a hard time staying inside to be creative.
Today I decided to post pictures of the cards I will be teaching at Remember This Remember That in Gardner Kansas on Friday, February 8. I have decided my style is Clean and Simple so these cards go along with my theme. You will learn a couple new techniques in this class.

Twisted Tuesday Challenge
Todays' challenge over at Twisted Tuesday Challenges is to make a card using Tic Tac Toe in mind. The twist is to use a machine. I dusted off my sewing maching and did the lines in a zig zag pattern. So this is my take on the challenge this week.

PTI Dahlia Image
I am in a mystery image challenge group over in Splitcoast Stampers. It is so fun because you never know what the image is going to be. Well the January image was selected by Imke from Germany and it is one of my favorites. I just love working with flowers. I got my copics out and used R81, R83 and R85 for the flowers. For the leaves I used G40, G82 and G94. I even used a sketch from Sketch Saturday this week and decided to enter it in their challenge.
I was patting myself on the back and so excited that I got the card done by the end of the month. I was getting ready to post it in the group's pictures and realized "Oh No - This was supposed to be clean and simple". We I loved this image so I came up with these 2 cards. I used my Versamark pen and gold embossed the center of the flower. I think these cards will fit better with the challenge.
I then had an image left over and thought well I'm on a roll, might as well make another card. Needless to say I really enjoyed these images. Thanks to Imke for such inspiration.

Valentine Tray
Don't be shocked that I am posting 2 days in a row. I decided it was time to get some of my pictures on my blog. Most of you know that I teach classes at Remember This Remember That in Gardner Kansas. I have met some of the nicest people there. Yesterday I taught a class on making this valentine tray. The class was a great success and we all had a good time. I used the papers from Authentique called Lovely. My students in class asked that I do one for Spring/Easter so I now have a new project to add to my list.
Come back tomorrow and I will have pictures of what I am teaching at my next class in February.

Baby Shower
Today I am posting pictures of a baby shower that I helped with last weekend for a good friend, Lauren. She is just so darn sweet.
Here is Lauren with the diaper cake that I made for her. I also made some party favors for all those that attended. I filled those boxes with chocolates of course. Lauren's theme is Winne the Pooh so I had to put one on top.
I also made Lauren a Winnie the Pooh quilt. I used some left over fabric to wrap around the diaper cake which turned out pretty well. I wrapped the diapers around the center of a empty paper towel center. I like to look of this better than all the rolled diapers. Easier and I didn't have to use tons of rubber bands.
Well congrats Lauren and I can't wait for that new baby to get here.

Color Blocking Challenge
Today's card is made for the Twisted Tuesday Challenge. The challenge was to used color blocking and the twist was to use at least 3 colors. I really liked this challenge because I was able to use my PTI hexagon die that I had bought several months ago. The butterfly is a Memory Box Die which I use often. The sentiment is from a new set of sentiments by Two Paper Divas.
