Farmers Market Quilt
I started this quilt several years ago and decided to finish it and donate for a raffle at a local Farmers Market. My sister is in charge of one in her town and I thought this would be the perfect thing to donate it to. I love the bird houses and the border around the quilt is cat heads. A little personality. Glad to finish up a couple projects that I started years ago.

Easter Eggs
Have you ever had an idea that was just great in your head and then you put it on paper and it just doesn't seem the same. I had this idea for a card last night when I couldn't sleep and I got up today and made this card. I think I got a bit carried away with the Easter eggs. Oh well another Easter card done.

Chick Easter Card
I saw this card on Ann's Blog and thought it would put my bird punch to good use. The butterfly was done with the Martha Stewart punch. Love this look. The weave embossing folder is from stampin up.

March Stamp Camp Part 2
I love this sweet card. The stamped image was "Sweet Summer" from Stampin Up. I just love this little set.
This card was made with the bird punch from Stampin Up. Love the colors on this one.
This was Bliss Stampin Up set which I thought turned out really cute also. The center is clear film and the Kindness was stamped on the inside of the card. You can't tell but the butterly at the top was actually cut out and placed on the top.
I love this card also. Loved the color combination. Simple but looks elegant. Thought it would make a perfect sympathy card.
Well check back tomorrow because I have actually started my Easter cards and I will post one of my new cards.

March Stamp Camp
These are 4 of the 8 cards that we made at stamp camp. I truly loved each and every one of these cards. The pictures don't do these justice. What fun we had and then on to shop at 2 of the local scrapbooking stores. I can home inspired. Now I just need the time to put all my ideas down on paper.
This card was embossed and then we colored it in with glitter pens. Another easter card done.
This was the most difficult card but I loved the way this card pops. You can't tell but the flower pots are cut out and they have dimension to them. Not sure I will have the heart to mail this one.
We stamped this flower and cut around the edges. The center of the flowers of the micro beads. Got my mother's day card done.
I just love this sweet bunny card. Not sure if I will use it for Easter or I think it would make a cute birthday card also.
Be sure and check back tomorrow for the other 4 cards.

March Monthly Image Swap
Don't you just love these bright colors? I stepped out of my box and decided to try something a little different. My SCS friend, Imke, send this darling image to us and we were to color it and make it in to a card. The image is a C.C. Design called "Swiss Pixie Birgitta". I think she is adorable.

Carrot Cake
I made my friend, Debbie, a carrot cake for her birthday. It was quite tasty. A friend once told me to bake the cake (any kind) and freeze it for a couple of days. Will be quite moist when you take out and frost. I did that with this cake and it was moist.
I also decorated this jar for Debbie's birthday. Found it in my stash and thought it would be great to put a snack mix in.

Tea Bag Holder
I made 6 of these tea bag holders. I started with a 9 3/4 inch x 3 3/4 inch piece of cardstock. I scored the card at 3 1/4 and 6 1/2 inches. I cut a diagonal line on one end of the card stock. For the front I cut a piece of dark cardstock 2 1/2 inches x 3 inches. The green piece of designed paper is 2 1/4 inches x 2 3/4 inches. I used Stampin Up small stamp corner punch on each corner. The tea pot is a Papertrey Ink stamp and Die cut. These make wonderful little girls. I made 6 for a SCS swap but kept going because they are so fun to make.

PTI Swap #2
This card was for another SCS swap. I used one of my favorite stamps from PTI "Baby Button Bits". I just love this little flower image. The sentiment was from PTI set "Hello Friend". I think one of my favorite things to make a card pop is to add black to the background. Made 6 of these. I have been on a roll. The card stock is Hawaiian Shores from PTI.

PTI Swap Clean & Simple
I needed to make a Clean and Simple Card for a swap on SCS. Surprisingly this is hard for me. I always want to add more. After one attempt and not happy with it, I went to Nichole Heady's blog for some inspiration and decided to use my new PTI stamp set "Hello, Friend" and just stamp. I made 6 of these and it went really fast.

Butterfly Embossed Card
I received some wonderful embossing folders from my SCS good friend Vickie. When I saw the one that looked like a fence to me, I had to try this one.
I stamped the flower image first along with the sun and then embossed the bottom part of the card. I then added the little birds and butterflies. I wasn't crazy about the flowers so thought I would try again. I went over the embossed part with Distressed Ink.
I might go back and try using the chalk to see if the fence would show up even more.
