Balloon Card
Several months ago I bought the hot air balloon stamp set "Up Up and Away" from PTI and finally decided to pull them out and make some cards. I had dies to cut out the balloons and clouds. This is my first card. Be sure and check back tomorrow because I think they are even better.
So nice to have my groove back. Funny how it comes and goes.

The Play Day Cafe Challenge PDCC70
I thought my creativity had left me. I haven't been making much because the inspiration was not there. I checked several blogs on the internet and came across The Play Day Cafe Challenge. I loved the idea of trying new color combinations. These were colors I would of never thought to put together.
This card was made with Textured Impressions Elegant Lines embossing folder from SU. The flower stamps were from Vintage Vogue SU set.
Of course I couldn't make just one card because I was having so much fun. I combined some new twine I recently purchased along with an embossing folder that my SCS friend Vickie sent me. The stamps and die cuts were all from PTI.
Thanks to Play Day Cafe for offering these challenges. I feel like my creative juices are flowing again.

I am in a swap with some very creative people. Each month we receive images in the mail and then we post the images in our gallery on Splitcoast Stampers. Here are some of the other cards that were created. This is giving me alot of practice with my copic markers. Still have alot to learn.

Dog Birthday Card
I haven't posted in a while. Finally decided to get a bit more organized. My husband built me some shelves for my closet and now I am putting things where I can find them.
Today's card is in honor of my youngest sister's birthday. She loves her dogs so I thought this would be this perfect card for her.

Happy Valentine's Day
Today I am posting a project I made for a co-worker's kids for school. I made 25 of these. This idea came from my friend Silvia who gave me one. I loved it so much I had to make some.
I started with cutting 2 1/4" x 6 " double sided card stock. I scored at 3/8" on each long end and folded up. I stamped on pink cardstock and cut out with my 1 3/4" circle punch. The red scallop circle is cut with my cricut. I used glue dots to hold the candies in place. The heart on each piece of candy was the small Stampin Up punch.

Valentine Card #2
This was the second Valentine card I received in the mail yesterday from my sister. I love what she does with that Stampin Up owl punch. I really like the way she added lace around the heart and the designer paper she used for the owl bodies. I'm glad she is getting some use out of that punch. Thanks so much Deb.

Valentine Card 2011
Today I had to post my first Valentine Card I received this year from my friend Vannessa. The picture does not do her card justice. Her shading was just amazing on the top heart design. I also loved the way she embossed the red paper and then cut out in a heart shape. I just had to share this beautiful design. I truly appreciate her creativity and will treasure this card. Thanks Vannessa.

One more PTI Anniversary Tag
I love these anniversary tags that Nicole posted on her blog. This is another card I made using the Thinking of You tag. I think I have a new favorite color combo. Peach and Brown. Have to laugh because that was my wedding colors 33 years ago. HA!

Happy Birthday Debbi
Happy Birthday to my dear sister Debbi. She is my card making buddy. I am so glad that we like the same things. It is fun to have someone to go to classes with. I made this card in her honor because she loves that owl punch from Stampin Up and the color purple. Just had to add her age because she is the OLDER sister. HA!

Favorite PTI Project
For a contest over at Paper Trey Ink, you were to list your favorite PTI project of the year. This was my latest project so of course it is my favorite. I love all PTI products and it is hard to pick a favorite, so I will go with my newest creation.
Well since the big snow storm came through yesterday I got lots of projects completed. The only thing good about this storm. I think we got somewhere in the range of 14-16 inches of snow. Too much if you ask me. I am so ready for spring.
This was the second card I made for a SCS Birthday Swap. I got a new stamp set "Little Bitty Bird" from PTI and I have really been wanting to do something with it. I even have the little bird die cuts to match. I love it that they have so many matching items.
