Bird Punch Birthday Card

I wanted a simple card to make using my SU bird punch. I embossed the pink folder and added some red ribbon. I made 4 of these cards for a Happy Birthday swap on SCS.

Valentine Gift Bag

I went to a class yesterday at Archivers and had a great time with my sister and friends. I even ran in to some old friends from my days of working at a quilt show 25 years ago. What fun it is to touch base with old friends.

I decided to make my friends in the class some chocolate chip cookies and of course I had to decorate the bag to put the cookies in.

I started with a small white bag and bought some red doilies and decorated it up. I folded over the top and added some ribbon. I even used my stitch piercer on the bottom of the square to add a little something. What fun this was to make.

Card Kit Swap

I received this kit a long time ago and trying to work on a few things I have here. The stamped images and paper were included in the kit. I colored a little bit with my copics but this was a cute little stamp. Not sure what it is called but enjoyed this set.

Flower Punch

I bought this darling little flower punch at Archivers a while back but couldn't find the right thing to make with it. I again borrowed an idea from Oliva because she is so talented. The leaves and stem are from the Sweet Summer Stamp set from Stampin Up. I love this set and will be using it alot. Add a little ribbon and bling and you have a cute card.

Paper trey January Blog Hop Challenge

This card was made for the January Papertrey Ink Blog Hop Challenge which fit in perfect with my new Years Resolution. The challenge was to pull out a stamp set that hasn't been used or hadn't been used in a log time. I picked "Out on A Limb Revised" stamp set because I have been wanting to use this set for a long time. I got my inspiration from Lime Doodle.

The sentiment was from Up Up & Away which is another PTI stamp set I have yet to use. So many stamps and so little time. The paper was from the Beautiful Blooms paper from PTI.

Fairy Card

I came across some stamped images from a swap I did a long time ago. This goes right along with you resolution to use projects I have at home. I will wait until I decide what occasion I am going to use it for before I stamp the saying on it. Another fun project with my copics.

Sister Photo

This goes right along with the note cards. I decided to make a frame for my sister for her birthday. She loves dogs so thought this was a great idea. Hopefully she doesn't check my blog very often because it might just ruin the surprise. This was another great idea I got from Oliva. Be sure and comment on her blog to win some cards. You still have time. The deadline is coming up.

Dog Note Cards

I decided to make a set of notecards and include a variety of sayings so the recipient of this set would be able to use these cards for any occasion. The dog stamp was from Inkadinkado which had some really cute dogs on it. The papers were from TPC Studio Paws and Claws Dog. Love the colors in this set.

I was going to give a box of chocolates to a friend and decided to decorate it up a bit. Stampin Up has a Chocolate stamp set that I thought would be perfect for this occasion.

Last of Flower for all Seasons

Yes, I definitely got carried away with this stamp set. Guess I was trying to see how many different cards I could make. Well this is it. Two different looks for this stamp. I used my new Stitch piercer to do the scallop edges on one card and then used my top note die cut for the other. Goodbye to this stamp set.

Be sure and go over to Oliva's Creative Quest blog and see the cards she is giving away. I have gotten some fantastic ideas from her blog. She is so creative. All you have to do to win is to post a comment on her blog. Good luck.

This is the last stamp I used in the Flower for All Seasons set. I think I might of gotten a little carried away with this stamp set but I love practicing with my copics and they are all so darn cute. This would be perfect for Spring.

A Flower for All Seasons - Sunflower

Still using the "Flower for All Seasons" stamp set. Today I am using the sunflower stamp which I colored in with my copic markers. I gave the sunflower a little depth using Crystal Effects. I made the border using my new "Sew Easy Stitch Piercer" and the Burst head on it. Such fun to do. The Happy Birthday was from the PTI Birthday Basics.

This card I made for the ICC13 Sketch Challenge.

A Flower for All Seasons - Cardinal

Over at the Inspired Crafters Blog they are having a Christmas Card Challenge every month. Join in if you would like and post your wonderful creations. In my quest to use all my stamps sets in 2011, I pulled out Stampin Up "A Flower for All Seasons" and found out I absolutely love this set. This card I used the cardinal with the poinsettas which is perfect for Christmas using the copic markers to colors in the image. I use PTI die cuts for the scalloped circle and ric rack border. The merry christmas is from the PTI "Tiny Treats: Christmas" which were punched out with SU punches. The printed paper is from PTI Christmas Collection cut out with the SU Top Note Die. The blue background is embossed with the dotted Cuttlebug folder. A variety of supplies were used on this card. At least I have one Christmas card made for next year. Yeah!

January Stamp Camp

Today and tomorrow I am posting pictures of the cards that we made at Stamp Camp. What great fun we had. I have to tell you though that 8 cards in 3 hours is alot. We figured we had 20 minutes per card. I love all of them and it is really hard to pick a favorite. Today I am posting 4 valentine cards.

Name Photo

I first saw this idea on Oliva's Blog and was so impressed that I had to make one for myself. Oliva was sweet enough to share her measurements with me. I loved hers but decided I wanted to use my favorite colors and incorporate everything I enjoy (Hearts, Butterflies, SU Bird Punch and flowers). Sorry Deb I couldn't fit in an owl using the owl punch. Maybe next time. I am going to post the measurements because I hope to make more and this will help me remember the measurements.

10 " square frame
Background was cut 10 x 10 inches
Black squares are 2 7/8"
Pattern squares are 2 5/8"
The letters were cut using 2" letters (Shadow - George and Basic Shapes) using my Cricut.
Embellish to your hearts desire.

Candy Cover

I decided to send a friend a box of chocolates and thought I can't just send it the way it is so I went to my scraps and found some paper with chocolate chips on it and my stamp "Chocolate: It's not just for Breakfast" and this is what I came up with.

Sorry for the bad picture but I need to find a better place with light to take pictures. Another goal of mine.

2011 Calendar

This was the calendar I made for my desk at work. As you can see my cats were about all I had to put in my calendar. If I wasn't in a hurry when I made this, I could of added nieces and nephews. Maybe next year. I should start collecting pictures now for next year. This was another calendar I made with my digital program.

Perpetual Calendar

I made this perpetual calendar for a SCS swap that I am in. I decided to add her name at the front. I have a digital program called Memory Mixer. It is quite inexpensive and you can do so much with it. This is a great calendar for remembering birthdays, anniversaries and any other special day.

Be sure and check back tomorrow because I will be posting another digital calendar that I made for myself.

Definitely Decorative Pines

I made a set of 4 of these cards for a SCS swap that I am going. I decided not to put a sentiment on it. I figured she could stamp on the inside for what ever occasion she wanted to use the card for. The moose was from the Stampin Up "Definitely Decorative pines" stamp set which I believe is retired.

Now I am off to play a little more with my copic markers.

Valentine Box

Today I made a valentine box to give to my friends for Valentine's Day. So I have box 1 done, several more to go. The box was a die from Paper Trey Ink "Favor It Box 3". The red was another die from Paper Trey Ink called Mat Series 3. The stamped image was from Tiny Treats: Valentine from Paper Trey Ink. It is one of my favorite stamp sets. This box was perfect to fill with a little chocolate.

Happy 2011

Happy 2011! Today is the day for New Year's Resolutions which of course I am famous with never following through. So this year instead of making my usual New Year's Resolutions (Loose weight, get more organized, etc.) I decided to do what I love. So I am going to challenge myself to make 365 cards/paper projects, post more often on my blog (my sister will love this one) and use every stamp set I own.

Project 1 is my second card for the Paper Trey Ink swap that I am in. I used my Love Lives Here stamp set that I recently got. I love the potential of this stamp set. Since hearts are my favorite thing, I can never make too many Valentine Day cards. So you might be seeing a few of those projects in the next couple of days.

Creative Crew

This month's theme for our Creative Crew group comes from Terry and her theme is Thanks Snow Much.  What a fun theme but I hope this do...
