Cat Card

I made this card for another SCS swap. I made card kits for this card. I used a stamp that I bought at a garage sale. Loved the cat on it. I used my copic markers to color in. I cut the frames of the pictures out with a nestability. I found a cat button at Hobby Lobby and found the perfect saying in one of my PTI stamp sets.

Dog Card

This set was done with some stamps that my sister had given me. Thought they were cute so I stamped and colored them in with my copic markers. I bought the border punch at JoAnn Fabrics. Thought it was cute.

Cat Card

This was for a swap that we had to use animal images. I signed up for 2 sets of cards so I decided to do one set dogs and one set cats. This was the cat set I decided to do. I used the stamp set C is for cat from Stampin up.

Vellum Card

I received a card like this from my secret sister in SCS. Hers was much cuter but this was my attempt at putting a clear vellum piece and stamping on the back.

Buckle Card

I wanted to try something different so I made this buckle card. The instructions are on Splitcoast Stampers at http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/big_buckle_card/ if you are interested in making one. I used the Friendship Blooms stamp set for the flowers and the saying. I used the Versa Mark stamp pad for the background flowers and used 2 flower punches for my embellishment. Something different anyway.

Butterfly Card

Well it has been a busy week and not much time to blog. I made this card for a SCS swap. It had to be inspirational. I used brown embossing for the butterfly and filled in the colors with my prisma watercolor pencils. I used SU God's Beauty Stamp set.

Postage Holder

This was the final item I made for the Holder of All Sorts swap on SCS. I decided to do a postage holder. When you do these swaps, you always have to enclose return postage. This was what I came up with. Pretty basic but it turned out pretty cute.

Post It Note Holder

This was a post it note holder that I made for a SCS swap. I cut the sheet 3 1/4 inches by 8 inches. I then scored at 2 1/4 , 2 1/2, 5 3/4 and 6 inches. I scalloped the shorter end. Stamped "For You" on it. I taped the post it notes to the inside and put a square (3 x 3) of contrasting paper on the back. I then cut a flower out and put a brad in the center. I placed it 1 inch down from the straight edge and 1 5/8 inches over. When I fold down the edge, the flower holds it down. Really fun to make. The leaves were the new Stampin Up bird punch. Love using that punch.

Post It Note Holder

Tea Bag Holder

I made this tea bag holder for a SCS swap. I used a PTI stamp set that has the tea pot and the stamp with the words on it. I need to make more of these and use as gifts. Easy to make and fun to do.

Digital Stamp

This was my first shot at a digital stamp. I got the design from http://paperinkcolor.blogspot.com/2010/04/thank-you-freebie.html . She told me she is going to post a free stamp every Friday. I printed the design on PTI white cardstock. I used the copic markers to color in. I really like the look of this.

5 x 5 Material Square

This was a different kind of swap. We were to use fabric and make a 5 x 5 inch square. We were given colors to use. Mine were purple and cream. I had to stamp somewhere on the square. This was fun to do. Combine both my loves (Quilting and paper crafting). Watch for my blog tomorrow because I am going to be posting my first attempt at a digital stamp.

Charm Swap - 2

This was the second card I made using a charm. As you can see I used the butterfly charm. I used the envelope die cut and slipped in a piece of white cardstock. I used the new SU butterfly die cut. Love that it makes so many different sizes.

Charm Swap

This is one of the cards I made for a card swap. We had to use a charm somewhere on the card. I decided to use hearts since I love hearts. I cut out the heart all the way through with my heart punch and stamped on the inside of the card. Tomorrow I will post the other card I made. I think I am going to have to venture out of my favorite colors. Seems like everything I do is purple or pink.

KU Casserole Carrier

Here is another 9 x 13 casserole carrier I made for a friend. Since she is such a KU fan, I decided to use the KU fabric. These are fun to make but I think the next one I make, I am going to take a few inches off of the side. Just a tad too big for the 9 x 13 pan. I put a book in her pan instead of a cake. Fewer calories.

Nestabilities Swap 2

This was the second card I made for the Nestabilities Swap. Can't say that I am crazy about the colors. I first embossed the whole card with a cuddlebug folder with Happy Birthday all over it. Then I used 2 sizes of the scalloped square nestabilities set. Added a flower for a little color. The stamp was from an older SU set. Not sure if you can tell but I colored in cupcake with Icopic markers and used a little glitter at the top of the cupcake.

Nestabilities Swap

This card was for a swap where I had to use one of my nestabilities set. I used Labels One. I first embossed the pink card with a cuddlebug embossing folder. Later realized I should of done that after cutting out the center. I think glued 2 sizes of the label one to the inside of the card. This stamp seet was from Stampin Up a few years ago.

PTI Card Swap

This was my last card in the PTI swap. I used the Valentine Tiny Treats Paper Trey set. I just love that little dog. I of course used the Big shot to cut out the green backgrounds. I used the SU punch to cut out the heart and SU scalloped punch for the border. Love these colors.

Easter Card

Happy Easter to All..... This is another Easter Card I made. I used the Prisma watercolor pencils with my SU blender pen to color it. This was a stamp set from The Angel Company I purchased several years ago. I still love all the images from this set. I used my Big Shot to cut out the dark pink and the circle. I think the Big Shot is now my favorite Stamping Tool.

This was a card that I made using another PTI stamp set. As usual, I love anything with buttons.

PTI Swap - Sketch #2

This was a card I made for a swap on Splitcoast Stampers. You had to use a Paper Trey Ink stamp and a sketch they designated. These stamps and clear and I really like using them. Storage is great. The set I used from was Baby Button Bits. I used the floral and then added buttons. Love buttons on everything.

Wall Quilt

I made this wall quilt for our pediatric unit at the hospital I work. They display a wall quilt for each month. I volunteered to make April. What better idea than April showers with lots of tulips. This was a fun way to use up my scraps. The next month I signed up for was August. Now my wheels are spinning for what I will do for August
