PIP Challenge #2603

Today I get to post a card for Challenge #2603 at Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenges.  This week we are beings sponsored by Taylored Expressions.  I'm sure you are all familiar with Taylored Expressions.  They have been around for a while and have the cutest stamps and dies.  They are one of the nicest companies to work with.

I hard a hard time deciding which of my stamps/dies to use for the challenge this week because I have so many.

I decided to make a mini Slimline card.  I started with a piece of white cardstock measured 7" x 6".  Once you fold the card it will be 3 1/2 x 6.  I then cut a piece of black cardstock 3 3/8 x 5 7/8.   I cut a piece of yellow cardstock 2 1/2 x 5 1/2.  I cut the aqua cardstock 3 1/4 x 5 3/4.  I then used the TE Mini Slim Window Cutting plate.  I found a piece of marbled paper in my scrap pile and stamped it with the TE Beautiful Butterfly Wings with black ink.  I used the Beautiful Butterfly Die to cut the butterfly out.  I then used the same die set to cut out the black outline of the butterfly.  I then pop dotted the butterflies at the center of each circle.  I added the sentiment using the Mini Strips Fluttering By stamp set.  I stamped on black cardstock with Versamark ink and added white embossing powder.  I then used the Mini Strips die to cut the sentiments out.

Thanks to Taylored Expressions I have a fun butterfly card.  Be sure and check their store out.  We appreciate their sponsorship of Pammies Inky Pinkies Challenges.

Creative Crew

I hope everyone is having a good start to 2026.  The weather in Kansas has been pretty good.  Since I am not a snow person, it works for me to have warmer weather.  Today is reveal day for our Creative Crew group on splitcoaststampers.  Jeanette came up with our challenge this month.  She challenged us to use our own stuff to make snow cards which would include a snowman, snow angel, snowflakes or anything else related to snow.  I always like looking through my stuff to see what items I have to complete the challenge.

I found an old Spellbinders Christmas kit that I really had not used much.  The background paper was in the kit along with the penguin die.  The little skates move which makes it a fun card.  The snowflakes are from Sunny Studio Snowflake Circle Frame.  I stamped Merry Christmas and it made a quick Christmas Card.  My first one for 2026.

If you would like to check out the rest of the group to see what they came up with, you can just click on their name below.

PIP Challenge #2601

Happy 2026!  I hope this year brings everyone good health and happiness.  I am so excited to still be a member of Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenges.  I always love seeing what people post on the challenges.  There are so many talented people out there.  This week we are being sponsored by Polkadoodles.  They have some of the cutest digital images.  I hope you check them out.

For my card today I am using the stamp "Lantern Friends Christmas Gingerbread Cookie".  I figured it is never too early to start on Christmas cards.  If I made 2 a month I would be set for the end of the year.

This image was so fun to print off and color with my copic markers.  I added stickles to each of the hats.  I used a stitched oval die to cut the image out.  I added some ivy and the word Cheers on the card for a little extra.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure and check out what the rest of the design team did on PIP Challenges this week.

Challenge Your Stash

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas.  It was very relaxing for me and I loved spending time with family and friends.

Today is reveal day for our Challenge Your Stash group on Splitcoaststampers.  Our challenge this month came from Barb and she challenged us to use an oldie but goodie stamp.

Sorry the quality of my picture is not so good but my essential tremors seem to mess my pictures up.  For my card I started by stamping a piece of cream cardstock using the Hardwood stamp from Stampin Up and Crumb Cake ink from Stampin Up.  I then used a Stampin Up set from 2006 with the pine cones, berries and greenery.  I believe this stamp set was called "Peaceful Wishes".  I used various Stampin Up inks on the card.  I then used a Merry Christmas die by Poppy Stamps that I have had for a long time.

I love going back to my oldie but goodie stamp sets.  There is a reason I have never gotten rid of then.  Thanks for the challenge this month Barb.

Creative Crew

The 15th of the month sure came around fast this month.  I guess because it seems to be a busy month.  Jeanette and Barb were our hostesses this month and they came up with a sketch/color challenge.

I always love these because it is so fun to see how everyone interprets this challenge.
For my card I am using paper from Honey Bee Simply Spring paper pad.  The stamp I am using is Taylored Expressions Seasonal Sprig.  I stamped the image and used the matching die to cut the image out.  I then tried to match up my copic markers with the sketch above and colored them.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set.

Be sure and check out the rest of the team to see how they interpreted this challenge.

PIP Challenge #2549

I hope everyone is ready for Christmas.  I can't believe it is only 17 days away.  I am ready except for a little bit of baking.  I seem to cut back every year.  Especially since sugar no longer agrees with me.

This week Pammies Inky Pinkies Challenge #2549 is being sponsored by one of my favorite stamp companies which is Newtons Nook Designs.

It is always hard for me to decide which stamp set to use because I love them all.  I went to Inky Paws Challenge looking for inspiration.  Their challenge this month is Holiday, Sparkle and Shine with this picture for added inspiration.

This is my card that I made with this picture in mind.
I started this card with and 3 1/2" x 4 3/4" piece of white cardstock.  I then blended 3 colors of distress oxide (Salvaged patina, Worn Lipstick and Wilted Violet).  I then used a snowflake embossing powder on the paper and sprinkled it with holographic embossing powder to give it some sparkle.  I then used the Oval Frames Die set to cut out the pink oval and the scalloped glitter paper oval.  I then colored the Holiday Haul stamped image with my copic markers using the colors in the picture.  I used the matching die to cut the image out.  I used some Crystal Stickles on the packages and the tree.  I stamped the sentiment on white card stock and used one of the smaller rectangles on the A2 Card Layout Die to cut it out.  I cut out a slightly larger pink rectangle to go around the sentiment.

I really enjoyed making this card and always love the Inky Paws Challenges every month.

PIP Challenge #2547

This week Pammie's Inky Pinkies is sponsoring Challenge #2547.

This means we get to pick our own creation for our card.  I went to Newtons Nook where I always get lots of inspiration and I am able to use some of my newer stamps.  For my card today I am using the stamp set "Sky High Celebrations".  I never seem to have enough birthday cards so thought this would be the perfect chance to make one.  I also decided to make a slimline card because I wanted to used the Newtons Nook bookmark die on the card.
I found the sketch challenge on Inky Paws Challenge and decided to work with it.
The papers I used are from Newton's Nook Designs "Birthday Party".  I added some ribbon, twine and gems at the bottom of the card.  For the sentiment I used "Newton's Nook Designs Frames & Tags Die".
It was such a fun card to make and use my copic markers.
