Thank You Notes

I needed a couple thank you cards and used the extra card candy I had made previously for a swap on PTI. The peach color is Melon Berry from PTI. They went together quickly.

Happy Memorial Day

Happy Memorial Day to everyone. It is the time to remember our military and all our loved ones. I have taken a small break from card making and have been spending time at my sewing machine. I decided to use some scraps and make a quilt to keep on my dining room table. Well then I decided to make a table runner to match. This is a picture of my helper and I will post again after the quilt is completed.

May 2011 Papertrey Ink Blog Hop

I created this birthday card for my niece for the Papertrey Ink May challenge. The challenge was to see what your favorite take on flowers was.

Since one of my passions is sewing I decided to make this fabric flower which consisted of 5 two inch squares. I then used the Flower Fusion #1 die cut with red felt as my center.

The leaf was from The Masculine Motifs stamp set along with the dragonfly that I stamped on the inside of the card. It was fun to cut the card at the top at a diagonal to add a little flair to the card.

For Your Inspiration: FYI Challenge #6

Over at "For Your Inspiration" they have a challenge to make a card using this photo as your inspiration. Below are the cards that I made. I used the Hot Air Balloon set from PTI to make this set. I used my copics to color them in and the large scallop die from PTI for the border. I always try to make a couple cards until I get it exactly how I want. Card Candy Swap

This was the second thing I made for a SCS swap. You were to make card candy. Some thing you would dress up a card with. I love this Melon Berry paper from PTI and they even sell the felt (flower) and ribbon to match. Love these colors. I see now why I chose these colors as my wedding colors 34 years ago.

PTI July Swap

This was a card I made for a challenge on SCS using PaperTrey Ink Products. I love the doily die and the butterfly die from PTI. I made of 6 of these and I'm sure I will get fantastic cards back in the swap.

Wedding Card

This was another card that we made at stamp camp. This is going to make the perfect wedding card. Tis the season. We punched out the hearts and colored in the flowers with our Stampin Up Markers.
