Creative Crew

Carol was our lovely hostess this month for our Creative Crew group and came up with a fantastic challenge.  April 8 is National Zoo Lover Day so my card today is in honor of Carol's favorite animal the giraffe.

The image we used is called African Queen by Artful Stamper.  The Giraffe paper is from African Safari Scrapbook paper.  I colored the giraffe with my copic markers and the built a card with the papers Carol sent.  I added a bow at the bottom and some gems on the card.  Carol also sent some of the greenery so I used it on the card also.

Part of our challenge was to say what our favorite zoo animal is.  That is tough for me because I love so many.  I guess penguins would be my favorite.

You can see what the other team members came up with for this challenge.

PIP Challenge #2313

Today we have Challenge #2313 over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies. Challenges.  This week we are being sponsored by Jan's Digital Stamps.  It was a tough decision as to which digital stamp to use for my card this week because there are so many adorable ones to pick from.

I decided to use the stamp set "Old Friends" because it just made me smile and I have several friends I could send this card to.  I printed the image on my printer and then colored it with my copic markers.  The designer papers I used were from Pink Fresh called "Happy Heart".

Such a fun image to color and it was fun to use one of my favorite color combos.  Hope you enjoyed the card and be sure and check out Jan's Digital Stamps because she has some beautiful images to pick from.

I am entering this card in the coloring challenges:

PIP Challenge #2311

Hard to believe there are only 2 weeks of March left.  This month has sure flown by.  Literally since it seems to be always windy in the spring here in Kansas.

Today's card is for Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenge #2311.  Today's challenge is being sponsored by Polkadoodles.  They have the cutest digital images and are always fun to work with.

For my card today I am using the digital image "Bunny Rabbit with Spring Carrots".  I know Easter is right around the corner so having a few Easter cards on hand will be helpful.
I printed off the image on my computer and then colored the image with my copic markers.  I used papers from Carta Bella called Flower Garden.  The dies were from Waffle flower.  The sentiment was from Stampin Up called Circle of Spring.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure and check out some of the adorable images from Polkadoodles.

Creative Crew

I have not been very good about posting on my blog lately.  Time just seems to be on fast forward.  But today is our reveal day for our creative crew bunch so I decided to post my card for this month.

Terry was our hostess this month and she decided our theme would be "Some bunny Loves You".  Perfect theme for Easter since it will be here before you know it.

Terry sent a fun kit to use for our challenge.  I decided to make a shaker card for my Easter card this month.  The egg paper is from The Paper Studio and I cut it out with an egg die that I had in my stash.  The bunnies and sentiment stamp is from Simon Says Stamp.  I colored the bunnies with my copic markers.  I added a little yellow ribbon for the bunnies to set on.
For the inside of the card I used a few more of the bunnies and the sentiment "Some bunny loves you".  Such a fun Easter card and so quick to put together.

You can see some of the other members of our team by clicking on their name below to see what they came up with for the challenge.

PIP Challenge #2309

March is here and definitely seeing some spring flowers popping up.  I just hope this next cold snap doesn't hurt these new buds.

Todays challenge for Pammie's Inky Pinkies is being sponsored by StarStampz.

For my card this week I made an easter card using the adorable stamp set "Puppy Rabbit".
For the sentiment I used a Stampin Up spring wreath set.  I wanted to come up with a cute little saying for the card but it just didn't come to me.  What is that puppy thinking?

I used Taylored Expressions mini slimline dies to make the card.

Easter will be here before you know it so it is fun making some cards before it comes.  I hope you all have a great week and be sure and check out what the other design team members at Pammie's Inky Pinkies came up with.

PIP Challenge #2307

This week it sure feels like spring.  I am loving the warmer weather.  It is time for Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenge #2307 which is being sponsored by Varada Sharma.

For my card today I am using the Rose Corner digital stamp from her etsy store.  I just love florals and coloring them so I decided to have some fun with that stamp.
I printed off the image on my printer and colored the flower with my copic markers.  The Birthday sentiment is from Waffle Flower Birthday Sentiments.  What a fun birthday card to make.

Have a great week and be sure and check out the Varada Sharma etsy store and all the other fun cards made by the PIP Design team.

PIP Challenge #2305

Happy February.  I am hoping for a warmer February this year.  I hope the cold weather is behind us and look forward to an early spring.  Today's challenge for Pammie's Inky Pinkies #2305 is being sponsored by Lawn Fawn.

I have alaways been a fan of Lawn Fawn Stamps because they are so cute and adorable and fun to color.  I pulled out an old stamp for my card today that I have always wanted to use but never got around to it.

The stamp set I used is called Year Two.  You can also buy the matching die which makes the set quite reasonable.  I colored the image with my copic markers and then made the card.  Seems like I am always a day late in sending birthday cards to thought it would be nice to have a Belated birthday card in my stash.

I also used a scalloped circle die, circle die, Grassy Hillside die and a Memory Box pennant die.  The designer papers I used were from Echo Park Wish Upon a Star.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and be sure and join us this week for Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenge.
